Abstract

Management accounting information plays in helping to predict the possible consequences of various alternative actions can be performed on a variety of activities such as planning, controlling and decision making. The existence of management accounting information will also enhance the ability of managers to understand the state of the environment and work well inidentifying the relevant activity. The purpose of this study was to examine the Environmental Uncertainty and Decentralization Of Relationship Characteristics of Accounting Information and Managerial Performance. This study is an empirical study with convenience sampling technique in data collection. The population in this study is the operations manager, production, marketing and manufacturing company in Semarang regency. Based on sampling data obtained by 80 respondents. The analytical method used was Moderating Regression Analysis. The results of this study is the broad scope of interaction with the environment uncertainty, aggregation andinteraction with the environment uncertainty is shown to be positively related to managerial performance, and timeliness of interaction with the environment uncertainty, interaction uncertainty integration with the environment proved to be positively related to managerial performance. While the interaction with the broad scope of decentralization, the interaction with the timeliness of decentralization, integration with decentralized interaction proved a positive influence on managerial performance, and interaction with the aggregation of decentralization has not been proven positive effect on managerial performance.Keywords: Broad Scope, Timeliness, Aggregation, integration, environmental uncertainty, decentralization, and Managerial Performance.

Abstract

Human resources is a very important factor as a driver in the face of global current era. The competitiveness of an organization depends on human resources owned. Particularly associated with either organization and organizational commitment of teacher performance. This study aims to analyze the performance of the teachers SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Variables used in this study is to use a variable of transformational leadership and work ethic of Islam. Transformational leadership and the Islamic work ethic serves as the independent variable in analyzing the performance of teachers of SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. In addition to these two variables, there are still other variables used in this research thatorganizational commitment variable that serves as an intervening variable. This research usesensus method with a number of respondents as much as 78 teachers at SMK Negeri I Bawen Semarang District. Teknik of data analysis used in this study using data analysis techniques using the sruktural equation model Smart PLS (Partial Least Squere ). The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership variables and the Islamic work ethic has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. Variable transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic and organizational commitment showed positive and significant impact onthe performance of teachers.Keywords :Transformational leadership, Islamic work ethic, organizational Commitment and teacher performance.

Abstract

Good corporate governance is one of concepts which becomes solution for the deterioration of employee performance in Indonesia. The contributions such as participation, transparency, responsbility, and fairness are essential factors which affect employee performance. The good organizational commitment could be used as the measurement for the implementation of proper good corporate governance. The objective of this study is to know the impact of good coporate governance and employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment in State Hospital of Konawe Regency. The population was 214 civil servants who work inState Hospital of Konawe Regency. The sample was 68 respondents which used Proporsioal Sampling technique. The analysis used structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) alternative method. The result shows that: (1) Participation gives positive and significant impact on improving employee performance. It means that if participation improves so that employee performance also improves. (2) Transparency gives positive and unsignificant impact on employee performance. It means that it has correlation, but low transparency doesn’t improve employee performance. (3) Accountability gives positive and unsignificant impact onemployee performance. It means that it has correlation but low accountability doesn’t improve employee performance. (4) Fairness gives postive impact in improving employee performance. (5) Organizational commitment gives positive result, but it doesn’t give impact on moderating the participation influence toward employee performance in improving employee performance. It means that the correlation of organizational commitment moderation doesn’t strengthen the correlation of participation toward employee performance. (6) Transparency gives negative andsignificant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the decreasing of transparency affects the improvement of employee performance. Accordingly, it gives implication in decreasing employee performance which has been moderated by high organizational commitment. (7) Accountability gives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the improvement of accountability affects the improvement of employee performance after it is moderated by high organizational commitment. (8) Fairnessgives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment. It means that high fairness affects in improving employee performance and it is strengthened by high organizational commitment.Key words: Good Corporate Governance, employee performance, and organizationalcommitment.

Abstract

This study aim stodetermine the effect ofservice quality dimensions as seen from five dimensionsofphysical evidence/tangible, durability/reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathytowards Bus Rapid Transit passengers. Inthis study, data were collectedby using question naireto 96 respondents, which aims to determine the response of the respondents toeachvariable.The analysis which is used,includevalidity test, reliability test,classic assumptions test(multicollinearity, normality, heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression analysis, goodnessof fittest (F test, ttest, the coefficientof determination). From the result that using the regressionanalysis showed that the variables of physical evidence / tangible, durability / reliability,responsiveness,assurance, and empathy, all have positive and significant of BRT passengerssatisfaction. With the influence of 56.3% while43.7%are influenced by other variables.Keywords:service quality,customersatisfaction, mass transportation

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the effect on work motivation, familyand social support dual role conflict to career development. Data were obtained from femalelecturers Unissula Semarang using a questionnaire by 67 respondents. The sampling techniqueusing non-random sampling method. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression.The results of this study indicate that work motivation variable significant effect on careerdevelopment, family support significant effect on career development, while the dual role conflictno significant effect on career development. Work motivation no significant effect on the conflictof roles, family support does not significantly influence conflict dual role. However, motivationand family support direct effect on career development.Keywords: Motivation Work, Social Support Family, Dual Role Conflict, and Career Development.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out the effect of Profitability, Leverage, against Underpricingto firms at Intial Public Offering (IPO) on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016 which ismediated by Stock Liqudity. The population in this study are 105 companies at Intial PublicOffering (IPO) that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. After selection by using thepurposive sampling method in the population, obtained the results of the census of 71 firmswere through underpricing used as samples. The secondary data collection method that usedis documentation method and indirect observation. Data analysis technique used regressionanalysis of panel data. Based on the results of research, Based on the results of the research,partially profitability has a positive effect to stock liquidity. Leverage has negative and nosignificant effect to stock liquidity. Profitability, Leverage, and Stock Liquidity have a significantnegative effect on underpricing. And simultaneously, Profitability, Leverage, and Stock Liquidityhave an effect on Underpricing.Keywords: Profitabilty, Leverage, Stock Liquidity, Underpricing

Abstract

The research tries to know impact insider ownership and Debt Policy to stock return. Theresearch objects are the company that was registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in2005 until 2008 that announce dividend. The sampling method is purposive sampling methodand it can find 13 sample companies that announce dividend. Hypothetical testing methodis Multistage Regression with the significance level 0,05. The results shows there is no significantimpact insider ownership and Debt Policy to Devidend Policy. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Influence of fund on Cooperatie to assist economicempowerment the Business of Batik Writing. The object of research are batik writing owner atdistrict level in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Batik writing business that are members of Cooperatiesample are Yogyakarta City with 60 respondens. Type of data collected is of primary data andsecondary data. Methods of data analysis used in this research include test validity, reliabilitytest and regression analysis. Based on calculation of regression test to funding of capitalvariable is significant to economic empowerment on the business Batik Writing. Thus it can beconcluded that the more effective use of capital loans made by the authors of batik then theireconomic independence is increasing. Abstract

There are many models for measuring service quality, SERVQUAL, SERPERF, STIEQUAL,E-SQ and E-S-QUAL. Every model offers some advantages and weakness. Previous researchproved that E-S-QUAL model is the best assessment to measure online service qualityin banking industry because it has an excellent external validity and enough consistency inreliability. The objectives of this research are to examine the effects of online service qualityin banking industry on the effect on customer satisfaction. Research involved 124 customersinternet banking. By measuring criterion validity of E-S-QUAL, it found that E-S-QUAL has agood validity and reliability for measuring the quality of banking online services. By using Ftest, the result revealed that all dimensions of online service quality has significantly effectson customer satisfaction. By using t –test only site aesthetic variable has significantly effecton customer satisfaction. The managerial implication of this research is that banking industryshould develop online service not only for effeciency, system availability, privacy, assurance,but the most important thing is also the aesthetics aspect to enhance their customer satisfaction.Keywords : Customer Satisfaction, SERVQUAL, E-SQ, E-S-QUAL

Abstract

This study examines the effect of managerial overconfidence on corporate financing whichmeasured by leverage ratio. Also it investigates the moderating effect of government ownershipon the relationship between managerial overconfidence and leverage. The managerialoverconfidence is measured by photo profile, degree of education, experience, gender andnetwork. The sample consists of 176 public companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in2017. The results of this study show that managerial overconfidence proxied by photo profile hasa negatively effect on leverage. Other results find that experience and network positively affecton leverage. However, this study failed to show that level of education, gender, governmentownership have significant effect on leverage. In addition, government ownership does not actas a moderating variable that influence the relationship between managerial overconfidence andleverage. The implications of this study suggest that the personal characteristics of managersuch as profile, experience and network should be considered as factors that may influencelevel of corporate financing.Keywords: managerial overconfidence, government ownership, financing, leverage, upperechelon theory
