Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, investment opportunity set (IOS), and leverage to dividend policy with moderated size. This study was conducted because there are several previous studies that show that the results of his research there are inconsistencies.The population in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The method of determining the sample is done by purposive sampling method, and based on predetermined criteria, the sample amount is 190 sample of manufacturing company during 2009-2018 period.The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. To knowthe variable size as a moderate variable or not tested interaction ModeratedReggresion Analysis (MRA).The results show that profitability and leverage are not able to influence thecompany's dividend policy. The dividend policy is influenced by the investment opportunity set (IOS). Size is not able to moderate the effect ofprofitability, investment opportunity set (IOS) and leverage to dividend policy.

Abstract

The study aims to examine one aspect of the resource-based view, intellectual capital, and it’s three components – human, structural, and relational capital. We hypothesize that the impact of each component of intellectual capital on organizational performance in a sample of private higher education institution in Yogyakarta. The regressions results indicated the organizational performance of higher education institution well explained by each component of intellectualcapital. The empirical findings and the ensuing discussion will be of interest to managers and practitioners.Keyword: intellectual capital, organizational performance, higher education institution.

Abstract

This research is conducted for testing the influence of debt to equity ratio, insider ownership and firm size to price book value with the dividend payout ratio as the intervening variable in the firms registered at Indonesian Capital Market in the period of 2010 through 2013.Sampling technique applied in this research is purposive sampling. The data are collected based on the publication of Indonesian Capital Market Directory and www.idx.co.id. A number of 36 sample companies out of 472 companies registered at Indonesian Capital Market are obtained. Analytictechnique applied in this research is double linier regression to obtain a thorough picture ofthe relation between one variable and the others. This research is measured by seeing the determination coefficient, statistic value of F, statistic value of t, and intervening test. Besides, classic assumption test is also conducted, involving normality, multicollinearity, auto-correlation,and heteroscedasticity tests.The analysis result shows that DER variable partially influences significantly negative to DPR, insider ownership variable partially influences significantly positive to DPR, firm size variable partially influences significantly positive to DPR, DER variable partially influences significantly negative to PBV, insider ownership variable influencessignificantly positive to PBV, firm size variable partially influences significantly positive to PBV and DPR variable partially influences significantly positive to PBV. The regression test result with intervening variable states that Dividend Policy (DPR) is not intervening variable, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) variable, insider ownership and firm size toward Price Book Value (PBV).Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio, insider ownership, firm size, dividend payout ratio and price book value

Abstract

Good corporate governance is one of concepts which becomes solution for the deterioration of employee performance in Indonesia. The contributions such as participation, transparency, responsbility, and fairness are essential factors which affect employee performance. The good organizational commitment could be used as the measurement for the implementation of proper good corporate governance. The objective of this study is to know the impact of good coporate governance and employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment in State Hospital of Konawe Regency. The population was 214 civil servants who work inState Hospital of Konawe Regency. The sample was 68 respondents which used Proporsioal Sampling technique. The analysis used structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) alternative method. The result shows that: (1) Participation gives positive and significant impact on improving employee performance. It means that if participation improves so that employee performance also improves. (2) Transparency gives positive and unsignificant impact on employee performance. It means that it has correlation, but low transparency doesn’t improve employee performance. (3) Accountability gives positive and unsignificant impact onemployee performance. It means that it has correlation but low accountability doesn’t improve employee performance. (4) Fairness gives postive impact in improving employee performance. (5) Organizational commitment gives positive result, but it doesn’t give impact on moderating the participation influence toward employee performance in improving employee performance. It means that the correlation of organizational commitment moderation doesn’t strengthen the correlation of participation toward employee performance. (6) Transparency gives negative andsignificant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the decreasing of transparency affects the improvement of employee performance. Accordingly, it gives implication in decreasing employee performance which has been moderated by high organizational commitment. (7) Accountability gives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organaizational commitment. It means that the improvement of accountability affects the improvement of employee performance after it is moderated by high organizational commitment. (8) Fairnessgives positive and significant impact in improving employee performance which is moderated by organizational commitment. It means that high fairness affects in improving employee performance and it is strengthened by high organizational commitment.Key words: Good Corporate Governance, employee performance, and organizationalcommitment.

Abstract

Islamic banking is a financial institution that uses the sharing system has a wide range ofproducts offered, especially in the task of channeling bank funds for financing one of which isprofit and loss sharing financing (Mudaraba and Musharaka). Suposed profit and loss sharingfinancing that dominates among other types of financing due in accordance with conventionalbanks as well differentiator, but the reality is not profit and loss sharing financing dominate. Thisstudy aims analyze the factors that affect profit and loss sharing financing. The purpose of thisstudy was to analyze the influence of deposits mudaraba, equivalent of profit sharing, spreadprofit sharing, and Non Performing Financing of profit and loss sharing financing. The populationwas islamic Banking in Indonesia, which consists of 11 banks. The samples used are selectedusing purposive sampling technique and only 4 bank in accordance with the criteria. The datais taken from the Quarterly Financing Reports Sharia Bank Devisa in Bank Indonesia’s websiteduring the period of 4 years from 2010 to 2013, in this study consisted of 64 observation points.The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis.The result showed that the coefficient of determination through the four test variables: depositsmudaraba, equivalent of profit sharing, spread profit sharing, and Non Performing Financingcan explian the variation in the dependent variable for profit and loss sharing financing by70.4% while the rest is explained by other causes beyond the research variables. Four variablessimultaneously affect the results because the financing for the significance level of less than0.05. From the partial results variable equivalent of profit sharing has not significant affect toprofit and loss sharing financing and variable non-performing ratio has negative significant affectto profit and loss sharing financing, while the other two variables deposits mudaraba and spreadprofit sharing has positive significant affect to profit and loss sharing financing.Keywords : deposits mudaraba, equivalent of profit sharing, spread profit sharing, and NonPerforming Financing of profit and loss sharing financing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of initiative, learningorientation, adaptability to HR performance. Data obtained from HR nurses in RSUD DR. R.Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Grobogan using the questionnaires of 96 respondents. Thesampling technique non probability sampling method. Data analysis method used is multiplelinier regression. Results from this study showed that the variables of initiative and learningorientation has a significant effect on adaptability. Learning orientation and adaptability hasa significant effect on HR performance. While of initiative is not a significant effect on HRperformance. The results show that adaptability is not able to become an intervening variablebetween initiative influence on HR performance and adaptability is not able to become anintervening variable between learning orientation influence on HR performance.Keywords : Initiative, Learning Orientation, Adaptability, and HR performance.

Abstract

This research aims to learn the effect of the values of the quick ratio, turnover asset, return on aset, and inventory turnover toward net profit before taxes in the food and beverage indusry in Jakarta Stock Exchange (Indonesia) in 2012 - 2013. The approach used is qualitative approach with multiple regression. Based on the analysis described previously, it can be concluded that from the independent variable of turnoverasset, retunt on assets and inventory turnover partially have positive and significant impact on Ebit of Profit. this proves the previous studies that management of assets and inventoy affect earning before tax (EBIT). From the analysis ATR, ROA, and ITO have effects on Ebit or Profit. Som the employers of company are advised to keep ATR, ROA and ITR to remain high in order to get higher profits. Keywords : assets, stocks, earnings before tax

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of spiritual leadership, organizationalcommunication on work’s satisfaction, organizational commitment and work performance ofofficial at Telkom company. The total of this sample study is 100 officials at Telkom Company.The hypothesis is tested by using AMOS Ver.5.0 to get the result of causalities relationbetween developed variable on the model. The result of statistic analysis by using structuralmodel is showing the result of the effect the spiritual leadership gives positive and significantinfluence directly on organizational commitment. The spiritual leadership has no influence onwork satisfaction and work performance. The organizational communication has no influenceon work satisfaction and organizational performance. The organizational communication hasinfluence on work performance. The effect of work satisfaction gives positive and significantinfluence on organizational commitment. The work satisfaction has no influence on work performance.The result of this study to show that organizational commitment influence on performance.Keyword : Spiritual Leadership, Organizational Cummunication, Work Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect stock returns on manufacturingcompanies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study areManufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2011-2015 atotal of 17 companies sample automotive manufacturing companies sub-sector consisting of 7companies. This sampling technique uses Purposive sampling. The result of research indicatethat: (1) Economic Value Added and systematic risk influence partially influence to stock interestrate return and inflation do not show significant influence. Abstract

There are many models for measuring service quality, SERVQUAL, SERPERF, STIEQUAL,E-SQ and E-S-QUAL. Every model offers some advantages and weakness. Previous researchproved that E-S-QUAL model is the best assessment to measure online service qualityin banking industry because it has an excellent external validity and enough consistency inreliability. The objectives of this research are to examine the effects of online service qualityin banking industry on the effect on customer satisfaction. Research involved 124 customersinternet banking. By measuring criterion validity of E-S-QUAL, it found that E-S-QUAL has agood validity and reliability for measuring the quality of banking online services. By using Ftest, the result revealed that all dimensions of online service quality has significantly effectson customer satisfaction. By using t –test only site aesthetic variable has significantly effecton customer satisfaction. The managerial implication of this research is that banking industryshould develop online service not only for effeciency, system availability, privacy, assurance,but the most important thing is also the aesthetics aspect to enhance their customer satisfaction.Keywords : Customer Satisfaction, SERVQUAL, E-SQ, E-S-QUAL
