Abstract

Winner-loser anomaly explained that the shares are initially generate extreme positive abnormalreturn (winner) or the extreme negative abnormal returns (loser) will experience a reversal,especially for the loser stocks that outperform the stock winner.The objective of this paper is to explore and analyze overreaction for stocks which include calculatedIslamic Index (Jakarta Islamic Index) for period 2005 - 2006. This paper used method ofDe Bond — Thaler (1985), Dissainake (1997), Adler Manurung and Pondra Permana (2005) toselect sample. Winner and loser portfolio was formed based their return and also used marketadjusted excess returns.The results show overreaction phenomenon occurred several times in the three-month observationperiod (see calculation of CAAR). But these reactions do not have a high level of consistencybecause overreactions lasted only one time so as not to represent other periods, eventhe pickles winner overreaction does not show any symptoms (all grades pickles winner positivethree months period). Statistical analysis showed no anomaly overreactions on three-monthsobservation period.Research using six monthly observation periods overreaction symptoms occur randomly in allthree replications. But the significance test results again showed the lack of overreaction at theJII. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis of overreaction in the Jakarta Islamic Index inthe period January 2005 to December 2006 can not be proven statistically. Although there aresymptoms of overreaction, the reactions are not consistent and not significant.Keyword: overreaction, Jakarta Islamic Index ( JII), return, winner, losser, market adjusted return, cumulative abnormal Return.

Abstract

Strategic alliance is a business strategy undertaken by two or more parties within a specified period to achieve mutual benefits with the principle of mutual need and encouraging. It starts by getting to know prospective partners, knowing the position of the advantages and disadvantages of business, start building a strategy, implement, monitor, and evaluate until the target is reached. Organizational learning processes strategically is pointing to the insight (an effort to find new things) and future outlook. It was de with a tie between knowledge creation with continuous innovation and also impute constant innovation with the competitive advantage.Therefore, strategic knowledge is knowledge that is created as a consequence of the learning process in cooperation (alliance).Key word : Aliancy strategic, strategic knowledge, sustainable competitive advantage

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyse and receive proof emperis the influence of communication and the work motivation on job satisfaction and the achievement of the employee of the Alam Baru Furniture Company. The problem that was promoted in this research was 1) Whether having the influence of communication on the employee’s job satisfaction of the Alam Baru Furniture Company? 2) Whether having the influence of the motivation on the employee’s job satisfaction of the Alam Baru Furniture Company? 3) Whether having the influence of communication on the achievement of the employee of the Alam Baru Furniture Company?4) Whether having the influence of the motivation on the achievement of the employee of the Alam Baru Furniture Company? 5) Whether having the influence of job satisfaction on the achievement of the employee of the Alam Baru Furniture Company?This research was carried out against the employee in the Nature company of Baru Furniture Jepara. The data collection was carried out with the questionnaire and the study of the book with the number of samples totalling 175 respondents that 112 female respondents and 63 male respondents. Technically the analysis of the data that was used was with Structural Equation Model (SEM) by using theAMOS program 16,0 because of enabling the combination between the analysis of the factor and the analysis of multiplied regression.Results of the research showed that the communication variable and the influential motivation in a signifkan manner towards job satisfaction. Moreover, communication and the motivation were influential towards the achievement of the employee in the Baru Furniture Jepara. Nature company, this could be proven by seeing the value probability the significance was smaller than standart 0.05.Key word : communication, motivation, job satisfaction, and achievement of the employee

Abstract

Gold dinar activists proposed gold dinar as money physically to be implemented in the current monetary system. Some efforts have been done for 3 decades but the result is not significant. Some proponent then come up to propose gold is just as measurement of value combined to infrastructures of ICT, however, the design is not specify yet. Therefore, this paper attempt to explore a framework mobile payment system based on gold as measurement of value a case study in Aceh. Design method is used to develop the model. Data is taken from observation, library, and secondary sources. The research is qualitative employed deductive analysis. Mobile payment system commodity money based on gold as measurement of value is the best way to implement gold as money in the current monetary system initiated by any communities or societies. The proposed model is enabling customers; whether individual or business for conducting any transactions efficiently and easily by using mobile phone.  Besides that, the proposed model has several advantages in term of economic, social and Islamic value.

Abstract

HR performance improvement is an intended thing which is going to endure in order to achievethe perfect result continuously. Several factors to improve the performance of human resourcesin order to create maximum performance include competency-based human resourcedevelopment, achievement motivation, Islamic work ethic and HR performance itself. Thisresearch used the population at Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional Dompet Peduli Ummat DaarutTauhiid Cabang Semarang period 2015. The number of sample was 30 respondents with usingthe sample by census i.e. that the sample taken was equal with the number of population. Basedon the analysis, the result can be concluded that there is no influence between competencybasedhuman resource development to the Human Resource Performances significantly,there is no influence between competency-based human resource development towardsachievement motivation significantly, and there is an influence between Islamic Work Ethictowards achievement motivation and there is an influence between achievement motivationtowards the Human Resource Performances significantly, while there is no influence betweenIslamic Work Ethic to the Human Resource Performances.Keywords : Competency-Based Human Resources Development, Achievement Motivation,Islamic Work Ethics and Human Resources Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership and work discipline on employeeperformance with job satisfaction as intervening variable. Population in this research is employeeswho work at Agriculture Department of Demak Regency for 121 employees, with total sampleof 55 employees. The sampling technique used in this study is Proportional Random Sampling.The analysis tool is the path analysis, where previously tested the validity and reliability as wellas the classical assumption test. Test results show that servant leadership and work disciplineproved to have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Servant leadership provedto have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, can be interpreted thatthe higher servant leadership, the more leaders are able to serve their subordinates sincerely,so that it will have an impact on the high performance of employees. Work discipline proved tohave a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positiveand significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the higher level of job satisfactionof employees, it will certainly have an impact on the high performance of employees.Keywords: Servant leadership, work discipline, job satisfaction and employee performance

Abstract

Many researchers in behavioural organizational science found that multidimensional effectof commitment variables- effective commitment; continuance commitment and normativecommitment- have different influence to turnover intention. This research aims to investigateinfluence multidimensional effect of commitment to turn over intention and to analyzemultidimensional of commitment as mediator variables. Questionaires distribute amonglectures and nurses of Sultan Agung Fondation amounting 59 respondents. Abstract

Utilization of social media technology for business interests has been widely done both in largecompanies and MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise). Utilization of social media forMSMEs is very important to face the competition in this globalization era. This study empiricallyexamines the antecedents of social media usage and its impact on MSMEs performance basedon the Technology-Organization-Environment framework and Resource Based View theory. Thesurvey method by distributing questionnaires was conducted to MSMEs from various industriesin Magelang. Analysis with SEM-Partial Least Square indicates that customer pressure andmobile environment are significant factors affecting the use of social media. Furthermore, thedimensions of the impact on internal operations, sales, marketing and customer service aresignificant and make the value of social media usage for MSMEs. Technological competenceand competitive pressure does not affect the social media usage for MSMEs.Keywords: social media, SMEs, organization perspective, TOE, RBV

Abstract

Tujuan yang lebih kongkrit dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji relevansi dari teori fiskal, teoritrade-off dan teori peking order dalam analisis struktur modal dari perusahaan-perusahaanpublik yang ada di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Dengan menguji teori-teori tersebut di atas akan diperolehinformasi empiris tentang penerapan teori-teori tersebut di perusahaan-perusahaan Indonesia.Kemudian, penelitian ini juga menginvestigasi apakah faktor-faktor yang menentukanstruktur modal perusahaan dapat mempengaruhi struktur hutangya. Untuk mencapai tujuanyang diinginkan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftardi Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2002 hingga tahun 2006. Dari analisis data ditemukan bahwatarif pajak efektif, struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan menyebabkan adanya pengaruhpositif dan signifikan terhadap rasio hutang perusahaan. Variabel lainnya seperti non debt taxshielddan nilai proftabilitas periode yang lalu membuat efek negative terhadap rasio hutang.Bagi tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan, penelitian tidak menemukan hubungannya denganrasio hutang. Dan variabel-variabel bebas dapat mempengaruhi rasio hutang secara simultandan secara simultan.Kata Kunci : Fiscal theory, Trade-off Theory, Pecking Order Theory, Capital Structure, and Debt Ratio.

Abstract

This research aims to determine various stock investments with the Capital Asset Pricing Model(CAPM) method, to help investors pick efficient and inefficient stock. The population in thisstudy are all companies listing in Jakarta Islamic Index. The sampling technique used waspurposive sampling method and acquired 16 stocks. The results show that there was positiverelationship or non linear relationship between systematic risk and expected return. There are13 stocks included on efficient and investment decisions should be taken by investors was tobuy efficient stocks, while there are 3 stocks included on inefficient and investment decisionsshould be taken by investors was to sell inefficient stocks.Keywords: Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Systematic Risk, Investment Decisions
