Abstract

Nutmeg is a native plant originating from Indonesia, especially the North Maluku region. One area that has quite a lot of nutmeg trees is Bobo Village, Jailolo District, West Halmahera. This research aims to describe the use of nutmeg flesh to be processed into nutmeg jam. This research was carried out from August 21 2023 until the report was prepared in September 2023. The data used was through interviews with resource persons, namely Mama Ida and PKK mothers as well as through holding training in making nutmeg jam. This analysis uses the ABCD (Asset Base Community Development) method, which is a method that uses 5 key steps to carry out the service process, including Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny (do) and reflection. From the results of this research, it can be seen that the implementation of the nutmeg jam making training can be realized well, starting from the request to the resource person to be a speaker, then the collaboration between the Bobo village government and the IAIN Ternate Religious Moderation Collaboration KKN KKN students in holding the nutmeg jam making training.Keywords: Nutmeg; Nutmeg Jam; Training on Making Nutmeg Jam.

Abstract

Community service activity (PKM) on "Data Processing Training with SPSS and Eviews" carried out by Islamic Economics and Business Fazkultas Students of the IAIN Ternate Sharia Financial Management study program aims to introduce and train participants in this case students in Islamic studies using SPSS and Eviews software as an aid in carrying out statistical data analysis both for the purposes of courses related to data, or scientific work in the form of journals, as well as final thesis assignments. This training was attended by 30 participants from the MKS study program and was carried out in the FEBI laboratory building for one day using the 4 stages are the preparation stage, the invitation delivery stage to participants and resource persons, the activity implementation stage and the last is the evaluation stage. The results of this training activity are that the participants are quite enthusiastic and enthusiastic about participating in the training even though there are several obstacles. With training like this, participants, especially students, can increase their knowledge about using the SPSS and Eviews applications.Keywords: Student Competence; Data Processing; SPSS; Eviews.

Abstract

Mosques have a very strategic role in the life of Muslims. More than just a place of worship, the mosque also functions as a center for various religious and community activities. Training and mentoring of mosque takmir as a community service activity carried out by lecturers of the Islamic Religious Education study program FTIK IAIN Ternate in the mosque of Fobaharu Village, North Tidore City District, Tidore Islands City aims to provide an understanding to mosque takmir administrators about the importance of management structure and mosque management. The methods used are: first, lecture method, second, practicum method; and third, question and answer method. This service activity is considered successful based on the full participation of all 20 invited participants who attended. The participants felt that this activity was very useful because it helped increase the prosperity of the mosque through effective management and a proportional board structure, and encouraged their commitment to play an active role in prospering the mosque.Keywords: Mosque, Training, Mentoring, Mosque Management .

Abstract

The focus of this community service activity is to make various kinds of creativity from managing plastic waste at home specifically for the community, especially the women of Kasturian Village in Ternate City, North Maluku. This community service activity was carried out for one day, on the 13 of February 2023. The results of initial observations on this service partner found that there was still a lot of plastic waste donated by residents of the Kasturian sub-district in every existing trash can. Therefore, the service team provides counseling and at the same time practices managing waste from the smallest environment by making various kinds of creativity. The results obtained after this service are increasing the enthusiasm of the community to manage plastic waste into various kinds of creativity.Keywords: Plastic waste; Smallest Environment

Abstract

MSME owners in Central Bangka also have not been able to prepare financial reports in accordance with applicable financial standards. This is because MSME owners do not know the basics of accounting records. Even though there are quite a lot of Android-based accounting and financial reporting applications available with various choices according to the needs of the owner. This service uses the lecture method to introduce the basics of accounting and demonstration methods for assisting in the preparation of Android-based financial reports. This activity is expected to provide knowledge for PPKL and MSME owners regarding the basics of accounting and at the same time prepare financial reports for MSME owners. Evaluation of this activity is carried out by providing feedback sheets in the form of pre-test and post-test to measure the level of understanding of participants.
