Abstract

Tambur Peh Cun is a tradition in the form of a festival that still continues today among the Chinese community in Tangerang, Banten. The term Peh-Cun means “boat racing” in Hokkien and consists of two words “Peh” which means “Paddle” or “Paddle” and “Cun” which means “Boat”. Tambur Peh-Cun or also known as "Gou", is one of a series of Peh-Cun ceremonies which is always celebrated on May 5 in the Confucian calendar. Qualitative Research with a Case Study Approach. According to Muhadjir, Qualitative Research is research that prioritizes issues of process and meaning/perception, where this research is expected to reveal various Qualitative information with thorough and meaningful descriptions and analysis, which also does not reject Quantitative information in the form of numbers or amounts. The research was carried out in several stages. The first stage begins with collecting information and observing the research location, then making appointments with resource persons and starting interviews, and preparing the final research report. This research aims to discuss the event strategy held by the Beon Tek Bio Association at the Peh Cun Festival in Tangerang City in 2023. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach to understand and analyze the strategies implemented. Peh Cun is one of the most important festivals in Chinese culture. This festival is celebrated every 5th of the 1st month of Chinese New Year to commemorate the return of Dewa Nian, who is believed to be a god who brings disaster. The Beon Tek Bio Association has implemented a planned and structured event strategy in organizing the Peh Cun Festival in Tangerang City in 2023. This strategy includes aspects -aspects of goals and target audience, program content, and marketing. In terms of program content, the Beon Tek Bio Association presents various interesting and diverse Chinese cultural events. These events are designed to attract public interest and attention, as well as to introduce Chinese culture to the wider community.

Abstract

Efforts to instill an attitude of religious moderation must be carried out from an early age in students by applying it to the educational process. In the process of Islamic religious education in educational institutions, the internalization of an attitude of religious moderation is an effort to prevent deviant and radical religious behavior for the Indonesian generation which can damage religious harmony in Indonesia and have an impact on the disintegration of the Indonesian nation. This journal tries to find answers about what is the concept of religious moderation? And the urgency and strategy of cultivating an attitude of moderation in play in formal education. This research is included in the type of library research, namely research that collects data from books, journals and previous research results that are relevant to the research subject using descriptive analysis methods. From this research, it is concluded that religious moderation is a just and balanced way of viewing (thinking), understanding and practicing (practice) religious life to create unity, oneness and peace as well as tolerance between religious communities which has an important urgency for all Indonesian citizens. So, in the realm of implementation it is certainly not limited to concepts or theories conveyed to students. But it must be done through practice or practice in everyday life.

Abstract

The Dick and Carey’s model is a learning model that has procedures with an instructional design consisting of systematic steps, consisting of cognitive and behavioral elements that require student responses to the material presented. So that this learning model is suitable with PAI materials and teaching materials, and can include knowledge, attitudes and skills, which are learning-oriented.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a significant role in influencing students' psychological well-being and shaping character, morality and religious identity. Research shows that the level of religiosity and understanding of Islamic teachings is positively correlated with psychological well-being. PAI teachers have an important role as role models in shaping student identity. This literature study uses literature research methods by collecting data from various sources. The research results highlight the role of PAI in shaping student identity through learning Islamic teachings and teacher example. PAI also contributes to character formation, attitudes of tolerance, and appreciation for differences. The correlation between Islamic religious morality and students' psychological well-being emphasizes the importance of religious aspects in the formation of students' identity and well-being. Islamic Religious Education creates a balance between academic achievement and psychological well-being by helping students overcome stress, increase optimism, develop social skills, and improve the quality of learning. In conclusion, PAI is not only a religious subject, but also the main pillar in forming quality individuals with good psychological well-being. The role of PAI teachers and further support is needed to maximize the positive impact of PAI in achieving the goals of character formation and student welfare.

Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum emerged as an effort to create interactive, efficient, and certainly more productive learning. This curriculum has many benefits for tutors, one of which is that tutors can have more freedom to create teaching materials so that students can develop optimally. The focus of this research is the development of PAI teaching materials by tutors at PKBM Daarul Ahkaam. This research discusses the objective condition of PAI teaching materials, the problems faced by PAI Tutors, and the steps taken by PAI Tutors to develop the teaching materials. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the type of case study. The results obtained are the objective conditions of teaching materials in accordance with Merdeka Curriculum, Tutors are responsible for preparing lesson plans while the principal PAI material that has been determined is developed by the Tutors themselves. The problems faced by Tutors are determining teaching materials that are relevant to the competency standards and basic competencies, lack of infrastructure, and problems that arise from students who do not understand the material coupled with limited teaching material sources. The steps in developing teaching materials are relevant to process standards, Tutors have selected teaching materials in accordance with competency standards, used varied strategies and applied learning evaluations in accordance with the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Character education has become the main focus in overcoming the moral degradation that is rampant in Indonesian society. As mandated in the 1945 Constitution, Pancasila, and Law Number 20 of 2003. This article discusses the importance of character education as a core value of Indonesian education. The main focus is on the implementation of character education at MTs Pondok Tremas, taking into account the strong religious and traditional aspects in boarding school. The research method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data was analyzed using data reduction, data display, and data verification. The research results show that character education at MTs Pondok Tremas is integrated into the school's vision and mission, by applying 18 character values in all aspects of learning and extracurricular activities. The approach used in forming student character includes seventeen character values, such as honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity and national spirit. Evaluation is carried out through direct assessment and observation of student attitudes. The role of teachers is very significant in developing character education, by utilizing classical methods and personal approaches. In conclusion, student character formation at MTs Pondok Tremas is carried out through a comprehensive approach which includes classroom learning, extracurricular activities and the role of the teacher. With good implementation, character education is expected to be able to produce a generation that has noble morals and strong character, ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

slamic religious education is experiencing a critical period amidst modernity and technology due to the growing anti-Islam sentiment and the impact of terrorist attacks on a global scale. This article examines how Islamic religious education has been modified for the digital era in order to preserve religious identity and promote the fusion of modernity and spirituality. The literature review shows that Islamic religious education must change in order to remain effective and relevant in the information age. Islam is generally recognized as a religion that prioritizes harmony and tranquility, as evidenced by the development of advanced Islamic civilization. Elaborating on the fundamental idea of the harmonious relationship between modernity and spirituality, the importance of maintaining technology in the context of the information revolution is emphasized. The revitalization of Islamic religious education—especially through online platforms—is claimed to be one way to spread Islamic principles, encourage communication, and create a scientific community network. Islamic religious education aims to uphold the morals and character of the younger generation while navigating the complex dynamics of modernity and global challenges. This article concludes by highlighting the importance of reviving religious education as a means of innovation that supports religious identity in the context of technological advances and societal changes in the digital era.

Abstract

The use of learning media while teaching is still rarely used in schools. In general, this media can be used as a means of transforming knowledge. It is often found that teaching teachers only has the lecture method and brings LKS books, especially in science subjects. These subjects must be really practiced so that the shadow of students is not abstract. So this needs to be updated in the learning media used. Therefore, media development is needed for teachers so that they can help students understand the respiratory system in humans. The purpose of this study is to create and develop learning media on class V respiratory system material at MI Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurul Iman. This research uses qualitative methods with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the research obtained are that students become more aware of how the respiratory process in humans is assisted by using learning media that they have made in groups.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (ICT) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian eksperimental digunakan dengan merancang suatu model pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan berbagai media berbasis ICT, seperti komputer, internet, dan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada kelompok siswa yang dalam pemebelajaranya menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Data prestasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT secara signifikan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Kelompok siswa atau kelas yang mendapatkan pembelajaran berbasis ICT ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to investigate the role and relevance of Islamic religious education in facing the complexity of modern society and to explore PAI implementation strategies in overcoming the problems faced by the millennial generation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with library methods to collect data from various primary and secondary sources. The results of the analysis show that Islamic religious education has an important role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation and preparing them to face the challenges of contemporary society. Effective implementation of PAI involves the choice of relevant material, an inclusive approach, the use of technology in learning, and strengthening student character. In conclusion, Islamic religious education must continue to adapt to the times and become a relevant solution in forming individuals who are faithful, devout and have noble character in an increasingly complex modern society.
