Abstract

Effective IT management is crucial for an organization's progress, and inefficient management can lead to system inefficiencies. IT governance ensures an organization's IT systems are functioning as intended, provides oversight of IT operations, and mitigates related risks. Despite its importance, there is a lack of research on the impact of ITG on internal audit role, particularly in the context of internal control. This study aims to fill this research gap by investigating the relationship between ITG characteristics and IAF within IAF. The research examines the link between ITG and IAF, as well as ITG's impact on internal control practices. The study analyzes survey responses from 414 internal auditors in Iraqi companies using a statistical method. The results demonstrate a strong association between IT knowledge, internal auditing responsibilities, the degree of strength of the IAF-IT relationship, and the effectiveness of ITG processes. Additionally, there is a significant association between IT audit abilities and ITG mechanisms. Also, effective overall controls are positively associated with well-capitalized ITG processes and a strong relationship between IAF and IT. This research extends the earlier work on the role of ITG in auditing and focuses on the crucial importance of ITG in the creation of effective IT systems.

Abstract

Healthy snacks are nutritious snacks and do not contain dangerous substances. Many children, especially those in elementary schools, don't know about it, so they often become victims of snack poisoning at school. One of the events to provide health education to elementary school children is through modified snakes and ladders. This research aims to determine the effect of the modified snakes and ladders game on children's knowledge in choosing healthy snacks. This research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental research design using a one group pretest-posttest design approach. with a total sample of 79 school age children. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the modified snakes and ladders game on school children's knowledge in choosing healthy snacks with a value of p=0.000 <0.05. It is hoped that this research can provide knowledge to students and can also be used by teaching staff as a source of information that can help in improving healthy snacks. It is hoped that this research can add information and references for future researchers.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in Indonesia and worldwide. Early detection is critical for improving survival rates, yet many cases are diagnosed in late stages due to inadequate awareness and diagnostic tools. This study compares the performance of K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Decision Tree algorithms for breast cancer classification using the Wisconsin Breast Cancer dataset. The Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework was applied, consisting of Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and Deployment phases. The results indicate that KNN achieved the highest accuracy (97.14%) and Area Under the Curve (AUC) value (0.976), outperforming the Decision Tree algorithm (accuracy: 96.49%, AUC: 0.965). These findings highlight the potential of data mining techniques for enhancing early breast cancer detection and improving clinical decision-making.

Abstract

The interaction between elephants and humans in the era of smart systems requires a new approach to managing frequent conflicts. In this context, the development of an emergency response system based on smart system technology is very important, both for local communities and national park managers. This system is expected to utilize technology to improve the effectiveness of handling elephant emergencies. This study emphasizes the need to develop an emergency response system based on smart systems to improve the effectiveness of managing elephant-human interactions. Sustainable and participatory system development will be key to creating better solutions to these conflicts in the future.
