Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of macroeconomics (inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, economic growth) and profitability on stock prices of food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2023. The population of this study was 42 food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies. By using the purposive sampling method, a sample of 14 companies was obtained. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously, macroeconomics (inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, economic growth) and profitability have a significant effect on stock prices. However, partially, inflation has a negative and insignificant effect, exchange rates have a positive and insignificant effect, interest rates have a positive and insignificant effect, economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect, profitability has a positive and significant effect on stock prices of food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2023.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence stock prices of metal subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, focusing on the effects of the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio. A quantitative approach was used, relying on secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. Data were collected through literature review and document analysis. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 12 companies out of 34 issuers after applying specific criteria. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices in the metal subsector. Furthermore, the Debt to Equity Ratio shows a more dominant influence, highlighting that leverage is an important factor in determining stock value for companies in the metal and mineral subsector. These results emphasize that liquidity and capital structure play a crucial role in market valuation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of education, training, and career development on the performance of Civil Servants, both simultaneously and partially. A quantitative approach was employed with data collected cross-sectionally through questionnaires distributed to 37 respondents at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Bombana Regency. The data were analyzed using multivariate regression analysis. The findings reveal that education, training, and career development simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on civil servants’ performance. Partially, each variable also has a positive and significant influence on performance improvement. These results indicate that better implementation of education, training, and career development contributes to higher performance levels among civil servants. Furthermore, respondents’ perceptions support these findings, suggesting that the implementation of education, training, and career development within the organization has been conducted effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of economic growth and the open unemployment rate on poverty levels in Southeast Sulawesi Province during the period 2005 to 2024. This study embraced a quantitative approach, drawing on secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and employing multiple linear regression in SPSS to uncover meaningful patterns. The results show that both economic growth and unemployment significantly affect poverty. The open unemployment rate has the greatest influence, indicating that higher unemployment leads to higher poverty levels. Meanwhile, economic growth has not been inclusive, as the benefits of development have not been evenly distributed among different income groups. The study concludes that reducing poverty requires inclusive, pro-poor economic growth through employment creation, MSME empowerment, and economic diversification, to ensure that the benefits of economic progress are shared equitably and contribute to sustainable welfare improvements in Southeast Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of internal control in managing project material inventory at the Office of Public Works, Housing, and Spatial Planning of Makassar City. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied using structured interviews, field observations, and documentation, guided by the five COSO components: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing to identify patterns, weaknesses, and supporting factors. The results indicate that internal control has been implemented through formal regulations, task distribution, authorization procedures, and routine monitoring. However, several weaknesses remain, including limited employee competence, reliance on manual recording, and suboptimal ethical and technical guidance. Overall, the internal control system is categorized as fairly good but requires strengthening through digital inventory recording, capacity building for human resources, and improved documentation to ensure more effective, accurate, and accountable material management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of global awareness of the need for tourism that is in harmony with Islamic principles. Braga street as a historical and cultural destination in Bandung has a high attraction but has not accommodated the needs of Muslim tourists optimally. The main problem lies in the gap between the potential of the area and the implementation of halal lifestyle values in accordance with maqashid sharia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of halal lifestyle in urban tourism areas and assess its suitability with the five principles of maqashid sharia: maintenance of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method and a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews with tourists and business actors, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the application of halal lifestyle in Braga Street has not been structured, the availability of halal food, worship facilities, and sharia-friendly services is still limited. However, there is great potential to develop value-based and cultural halal tourism destinations, with support from local communities and government policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of regional government expenditure in the tourism and trade sectors on the non-oil and gas Gross Regional Domestic Product (non-oil GRDP) and its impact on Local Own-Source Revenue in Bontang City, both directly and indirectly. A quantitative approach employing path analysis was used to identify causal relationships among the variables. The study utilizes ten years of time-series secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and official regional financial documents. The findings indicate that government expenditure in the tourism sector has a positive and significant effect on the non-oil GRDP. In contrast, expenditure in the trade sector shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect on the non-oil GRDP. Furthermore, the non-oil GRDP demonstrates a positive and significant effect on Local Own-Source Revenue. The path analysis also reveals an indirect effect of tourism-sector expenditure on Local Own-Source Revenue through the non-oil GRDP, suggesting that increasing budget allocation for tourism can strengthen local economic activities and ultimately enhance regional fiscal income. Conversely, the indirect effect of trade-sector expenditure on Local Own-Source Revenue through the non-oil GRDP is not significant. Overall, these results highlight the strategic role of the tourism sector in driving regional economic performance and strengthening local fiscal capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how work discipline among Civil Servants (ASN) is developed and maintained within the Secretariat of the Aceh Regional House of Representatives. Work discipline is considered essential for creating a professional and integrity-based bureaucracy. Issues such as lateness, lack of responsibility, and weak supervision form the background of this research. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to disciplinary regulations. The findings show that ASN work discipline is generally adequate, although weaknesses remain in punctuality and compliance with internal rules. Factors such as motivation, leadership role modeling, organizational culture, and internal supervision significantly influence disciplinary behavior. This study highlights the importance of continuous coaching, effective communication, and exemplary leadership as strategic efforts to sustainably improve ASN work discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy on the financial performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Kasawari region and its surroundings. Financial literacy is considered a crucial capability that affects business owners’ financial decision-making, including capital management, budgeting, and investment planning. The research employs a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. The sample consists of 50 MSME actors selected through purposive sampling. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME financial performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.68 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.476, indicating that financial literacy explains 47.6% of the variation in financial performance. These findings reinforce previous studies that emphasize financial education as a strategic tool for local economic empowerment. The study recommends enhancing financial literacy through training and mentoring programs to strengthen MSME competitiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

This research aims to find out more about how human resource management is implemented through planning, procurement, development and compensation at the UPTD. Lawele Health Center Lasalimu District. This research use descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the exploration results, it shows that human asset management at the UPTD. Lawele health center, Lasalimu district said to be good, but still not optimal. There is preparation of plans for health programs, procurement of honorary staff to assist with equipment at the health center, development of education based on wishes and not planned by health workers, implementation of training planned by the health service, and compensation given in the form of salaries and appreciation awards for achievements, ease of reach and what is needed by health workers as well as compensation given based on class and profession. However, at the Lawele community health center there are multiple positions, this is because the Lawele community health center still lacks health workers or human resources, causing the workload to increase. Apart from that, the facilities and infrastucture of the Lawele community health center are inadequate, which affects patient service and comfort.
