Abstract

Time and cost control are critical aspects in construction project implementation, particularly in architectural works that heavily depend on labor productivity. Delays in work completion may significantly increase labor costs. This study aims to compare normal scheduling and accelerated scheduling using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) and to analyze their impact on project duration and labor costs. The case study was conducted on the construction project of the Faculty of Economics and Business Building at Universitas Negeri Semarang, focusing on architectural works of the Basement and First floors. A quantitative method was employed using secondary data, including the Bill of Quantity, Budget Plan, weekly reports, and labor productivity data. The results indicate that normal scheduling produced a total duration of 478 days, while accelerated scheduling using PDM reduced the duration to 352 days and generated labor cost savings of Rp24,967,750. These findings demonstrate that PDM effectively improves time and labor cost efficiency in architectural building projects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of Sun Life Insurance’s Salam Hijrah Amanah Pro at Bank Muamalat Indonesia KCP Lamongan and assess its compliance with Islamic economic principles. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was obtained trought observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed using data reduction, ata presentation, and conslusion drawing techniques. The relust of the study indicate that the product is intended for prospective pilgrims who have scured a place on a pilgrimage and are still in the waiting period. This product uses a tabarru’ contract, wich is a mutual assistance contract between participants in facing risk. From an Islamic economic perspective, the application of this product is considered to be in accordance with sharia principles becauses it avoids the elements of usury, gambling, and gharar. In addition, its implementation also reflects the values of fairness, transparency, and social responsbility. Thus, the Sun Life Salam Hijrah Amanah Pro Insurance product can be used as a model of synergy between the banking sector and the Islamic insurance industry to strengthen Islamic finance based on ethical values and fairness.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of sensory marketing, experiential value, and employee emotional labor on repurchase intention among consumers of local coffee shops (warung kopi) in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. These three constructs represent an underexplored integrated framework, particularly within the MSME culinary context in eastern Indonesia. A mixed methods design with an explanatory sequential approach was employed, combining SEM-PLS as the dominant quantitative method (80%) with phenomenological in-depth interviews as the complementary qualitative method (20%). Survey data were collected from 215 respondents using a 5-point Likert scale structured questionnaire. SmartPLS 4.0 with 5,000 bootstrapping subsamples was applied. Results show that sensory marketing (?=0.341; p<0.001), experiential value (?=0.278; p<0.001), and deep acting (?=0.203; p=0.001) positively and significantly influence repurchase intention, while surface acting exerts a negative effect (?=?0.157; p=0.016). The model yields R²=0.769 and Q²=0.548, indicating strong predictive power. Qualitative findings reveal that authentic coffee aroma, acoustic ambience, service sincerity, and emotional experiential value are key determinants of repurchase intention. This study contributes to extending Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory within the local MSME culinary sector and provides strategic recommendations for warung kopi operators.

Abstract

Improving efficiency and effectiveness of employee performance can be achieved through job rotation practices, as human resources represent valuable organizational assets that must be managed optimally to maximize their contribution. Employees are encouraged to proactively enhance their competencies, which can be facilitated through human resource development programs, particularly continuing education. This study aims to examine the influence of job rotation and continuing education in human resource development on employee performance at one of the companies located in the Makassar City Industrial Area. Data were collected through questionnaire distribution to 86 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Prior to analysis, data quality tests were conducted, followed by multiple regression analysis, partial testing, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings reveal that job rotation and continuing education, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Among the two variables, job rotation demonstrates a more dominant contribution, motivating employees to improve their performance and pursue higher career advancement.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of technological knowledge and digital infrastructure on the level of E-Wallet and QRIS usage among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Baubau City. The rapid development of digital payment systems has created opportunities for MSMEs to improve transaction efficiency, yet adoption remains uneven due to varying levels of technological understanding and infrastructure readiness. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to MSME respondents. The analysis employs multiple linear regression to measure the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables. The results are expected to show that technological knowledge—such as the ability to operate digital applications—and digital infrastructure, including internet quality and device availability, significantly influence the use of digital payment systems. This study contributes theoretically to digital finance adoption research and provides practical insights for MSMEs, local governments, and digital service providers in enhancing payment digitization

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of profitability on dividend policy; to determine and analyze the effect of dividend policy on firm value; and to determine and analyze the effect of profitability on firm value. The analytical method employs regression analysis using SPSS as a statistical testing tool, as well as path analysis to examine the factors influencing firm value. The results indicate that profitability has a positive effect on dividend policy. The higher the level of a company’s profitability, the greater its ability to implement its dividend policy. Dividend policy has a positive effect on firm value. Consistent dividend distribution can enhance shareholder welfare and provide a positive signal to investors, thereby increasing firm value. Profitability also has a positive effect on firm value. The higher the company’s profitability, the higher the firm value. Dividend policy is able to mediate the relationship between profitability & firm value. High profitability increases the company’s ability to distribute div idends to shareholders, ultimately contributes to enhancing firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of professionalism and employee competence on the quality of financial statements in the Central Buton Regency Government. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to identify the relationships among variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents directly involved in the preparation of financial statements and were subsequently analyzed using SPSS software. The results of the analysis indicate that professionalism has a positive and significant contribution to improving the quality of financial statements, as evidenced by a t-test significance value of 0.001 and a regression coefficient of 0.232. Employee competence is also proven to have a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000 and a regression coefficient of 0.267. Simultaneously, both independent variables demonstrate a significant effect on the quality of financial statements, as indicated by an F-test significance value of 0.000.
