Abstract

This study examines the effects of investment decisions, financing decisions, and dividend policy on firm value at PT Astra International Tbk during 2016–2025. Using a quantitative associative approach, the study analyzes secondary data from the company’s annual reports. Investment decisions are measured by Price Earning Ratio (PER), financing decisions by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dividend policy by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), and firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV). The analysis uses descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with SPSS 27. The findings indicate that investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Financing decisions also show a positive and significant effect, while dividend policy does not have a significant partial effect. Jointly, the three financial decisions significantly affect firm value. The results imply that investment quality and financing structure are more decisive for market valuation than dividend distribution alone.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) constitute the backbone of Indonesia’s economy, yet their upgrading and competitiveness remain constrained by a low entrepreneurship ratio, limited innovation, financing, and market access. This study aims to analyze the role of entrepreneurial leadership in strengthening MSME competitiveness in Indonesia. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review and secondary data analysis from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, national regulations, and reputable journal articles. Data were analyzed through content and thematic mapping based on four dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership: opportunity-based vision, innovation, risk-taking, and proactiveness through resource orchestration. The findings indicate a national entrepreneurship ratio of 3.47%, digital adoption of approximately 24 million MSMEs, a banking credit share of 19.97%, and an export contribution of 15.7%. These conditions indicate suboptimal entrepreneurial leadership. Strengthening leadership capacity, digital innovation, financing access, and resource orchestration is essential to improve MSME competitiveness.

A quantitative explanatory approach was employed. The population and sample consisted of 96 employees selected by census. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. Results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, whereas servant leadership does not significantly affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture does not directly affect employee performance, and servant leadership is not significant. Furthermore, job satisfaction mediates the effect of organizational culture on employee performance but does not mediate the effect of servant leadership. The findings highlight strengthening organizational culture through job satisfaction to support employee performance.
