Abstract

This paper explores the intricate interplay between marriage, faith, and social dynamics within the framework of Zoroastrianism, commonly referred to as the Zarathustra religion, offering a succinct exposition of its historical origins and cultural significance. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the Zarathustrianism belief system on the institution of marriage, the formation of social connections, and the development of individual and communal practices. The methodology employed in this study entails a descriptive qualitative approach that involves an extensive analysis of textual sources, anthropological studies, historical records, and data gathered from surveys conducted in 2004 and 2012. The findings of this research uncover the religious rituals associated with marriage, the influence of faith on marital relationships, and the consequences of religious teachings on social norms and customs for most worshipers of this religion who live in India, Iran, and the USA. It casts light on the complex relationships between marriage, religion, and social life within the context of the Zarathustrianism religion, offering insightful information about the real-world experiences of its adherents and the enormous relevance of these components within their community.

Abstract

The Personal Status Law of Saudi Arabia 2022 regulates all matters related to family issues including child custody. The best interest of a child should be taken into consideration while taking decisions, especially for girls who need a mother’s care and guidance. This legal research found limitations of women’s right to be custodians due to marrying another man. This provision is opposed to Shariah principles particularly to Suran An-Nisa Verse 23, and to international conventions. Therefore, the government of Saudi Arabia must study this issue and take immediate action to resolve the conflict of laws.

Abstract

Kashmir popularly known as heaven on earth is famous for its natural beauty worldwide. The valley of Kashmir, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Asia,” is renowned for its natural beauty, and the beautiful waterfalls contribute to the region’s allure. The waterfalls have been popular tourist attractions, offering both natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation. In this paper, we discusses the well-known waterfalls of Kashmir valley from a historical perspective, examining their role in tourism and their impact on the landscape development. The waterfalls in Kashmir valley usually are found mostly in higher elevations and rugged terrains, requiring construction of footpaths, narrow roads and passes to make them accessible to tourists. The survey of waterfalls revealed that tourists enjoy the visit to waterfalls but recent developments, such as power generation projects and a growing influx of visitors compromises the aesthetic value of waterfalls. It was concluded that for sustainable development, it is crucial for the government and all stakeholders to prioritize environmental protection when undertaking development projects. Balancing tourism infrastructure with ecological preservation is critical to maintain the natural beauty of these sites for future generations in view of present huge tourist flow in the study area.

Abstract

The supporting program for the KKN PPM activities of Wiralodra University in Kopyah Village, Anjatan District, Indramayu Regency, was implemented at UPTD SDN 2 Kopyah. UPTD SDN 2 Kopyah is a state-owned education institution and operates at the elementary school level. The total number of students is 271 students, divided into 6 classes, with an average of 40 students per class. The number of students in each class has met the class management standards. Based on initial observations made by the author to the principal of UPTD SDN 2 Kopyah, students are still not familiar with CBP Rupiah but are already familiar with and implementing a savings system. This is due to several factors, including the elementary school curriculum often does not explicitly cover topics related to CBP Rupiah, so students do not receive formal learning about this; elementary schools focus more on core subjects; and the lack of socialization programs aimed at elementary school children regarding the importance of CBP Rupiah. In contrast to the savings education implemented at UPTD SDN 2 Kopyah, students already know about the theory given, but in practice students still do not fully understand the benefits and objectives of saving properly. Therefore, the author has an initiative to provide a solution to this problem, namely by providing simple education and implementation about CBP Rupiah and saving for elementary school students. This aims to increase basic knowledge and understanding of finance for students, including the importance of knowing and using the national currency. Educating elementary school students about CBP Rupiah and saving has important benefits and objectives for their development. The benefits include introducing the value of money, basic financial skills, financial independence, character education, and preventing consumerism. Through this education, students learn to recognize and understand the value of money, so that they can be wiser in using it. They get the basics of financial skills such as saving, budgeting, and understanding the concept of spending. This helps them become more financially independent from an early age, which is important for their future. The delivery method that the author will use is by face to face interaction directly with students in class, there is a PPT and educational video delivery about CBP Rupiah and saving, providing media for them to save money and some bills as a practice media to get to know CBP Rupiah. The output target of the "Love Proudly Understand (CBP) Rupiah and Saving" program in elementary schools is expected to be able to create a younger generation that is more financially literate and ready to face economic challenges in the future. One of the main targets is to increase students' understanding of the value of money and the importance of saving, which is shown by their ability to manage pocket money wisely and make a simple budget for daily needs. In addition, students are also expected to be able to demonstrate discipline and responsibility in saving, by setting short-term and long-term financial goals and trying to achieve them. This program also aims to instill an attitude of love and pride for the rupiah currency, which can be seen from the attitude of respecting and maintaining money and understanding its important role in the economy. By achieving these targets, it is hoped that students will not only have good knowledge of finance, but also develop positive characters and practical skills that will be useful throughout their lives.

Abstract

Saving is better taught to children as early as possible even though a family has an excess economic condition. It is better if the science of saving must still be taught to children. Providing education and understanding about the concept of saving must be started and made a habit at an early age because at that moment children are easier to absorb information and have a high curiosity. The moment of financial problems is an opportunity that can be taught to children and adolescents to learn about personal finance and to improve their own financial management skills. The level of awareness, understanding and thinking of children about the importance of living frugally and saving should be known from an early age. This aims to prepare children's understanding to be disciplined in setting aside the money they have and wisely in using the amount of savings someday. The habit of liking to save will have a positive impact on children to appreciate a gift more. The habit of saving can also teach children to live independently. The activity of saving or saving part of the income that is used to meet important and sudden needs for the future. There are many ways to save, for example setting aside pocket money to be saved, limiting snacks so that pocket money can be saved, buying necessary necessities, and so on. However, saving behavior is difficult to implement if it is not taught from an early age so that later when adults it is easy to apply it in everyday life. Saving is an action recommended by Islam, because by saving means a Muslim prepares himself for the implementation of future planning as well as to face unwanted things.
