Abstract

This article aims to conceptually examine the role of professional ethics in Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and its implications for practitioner integrity, organizational justice, and organizational sustainability. This study adopts a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant primary and secondary sources related to HRM ethics. The findings indicate that professional ethics constitute a strategic foundation underlying HRM policies and practices, particularly in decision-making processes concerning employees’ rights, obligations, and dignity. The integrity of HR practitioners plays a crucial role in building employee trust, strengthening organizational commitment, and fostering an ethical and transparent work culture. Furthermore, ethical challenges in the digital era, including data privacy protection and the risk of algorithmic bias, require high levels of ethical literacy among HR professionals. This article concludes that strengthening professional ethics in HRM is essential not only for organizational effectiveness but also for dignified and sustainable human resource governance

Abstract

Inovasi dalam dunia digital telah menghasilkan transformasi signifikan pada sistem keuangan global serta kegiatan bisnis internasional. Teknologi seperti layanan keuangan berbasis teknologi, blockchain, kecerdasan buatan, dan sistem pembayaran yang melintasi batas negara berfungsi untuk memperbaiki efisiensi transaksi, integrasi pasar finansial, dan akses terhadap layanan keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemajuan inovasi dalam teknologi keuangan secara global dan dampaknya terhadap efisiensi finansial serta daya saing bisnis di kancah internasional. Metodologi yang diterapkan adalah tinjauan pustaka dari publikasi ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam lima terakhir, baik nasional maupun internasional. Temuan dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dalam teknologi keuangan memberikan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi sistem keuangan global dan performa perusahaan di tingkat internasional, meskipun masih menghadapi masalah terkait regulasi dan keamanan informasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan dan strategi yang bersifat adaptif untuk mendukung pemanfaatan teknologi keuangan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The increasing integration of international financial markets has reshaped exchange rate dynamics and strengthened their linkage with global financial market movements. This study aims to comprehensively examine the relationship between international financial market integration and exchange rates through a literature-based approach. A semi-systematic literature review method is employed by analyzing five reputable scholarly journal articles relevant to the research topic. The synthesis of findings indicates that greater financial market integration heightens exchange rate sensitivity to external factors and positions exchange rates as a key component in the transmission mechanism of global financial shocks. Despite differences in research contexts and analytical approaches, the literature consistently highlights a strong and dynamic relationship between these two variables. This study contributes to a deeper conceptual understanding and structured mapping of the literature on the role of exchange rates within an increasingly integrated global financial system.

Abstract

Budaya organisasi merupakan salah satu faktor internal perusahaan yang berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku manajerial, termasuk dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi. Pada perusahaan internasional, perbedaan nilai, norma, dan pola kerja lintas budaya menjadikan budaya organisasi sebagai elemen strategis yang memengaruhi kualitas keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap keputusan investasi pada perusahaan internasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik studi kepustakaan. Data diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional, buku manajemen, serta laporan perusahaan multinasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi yang kuat, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada inovasi cenderung mendorong pengambilan keputusan investasi yang lebih rasional, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi jangka panjang. Sebaliknya, budaya organisasi yang lemah dan tidak konsisten dapat meningkatkan risiko kesalahan dalam keputusan investasi.

Abstract

The rice milling sector generates significant residues that are often not optimally managed by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the economic contribution of direct sales of production waste, specifically husks and bran, to total revenue and the ability to cover operational costs. Unlike the majority of previous literature, which focuses on processing waste into complex derivative products (such as briquettes or functional foods), this study fills a gap by evaluating the efficiency of selling raw waste (without processing) as a low-investment survival strategy. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach at Bokor Rice Mill, analyzing data on production volume, selling prices, and operational cost structure. The analysis results show that waste sales contribute 5.08% to total revenue. The novel contribution of this finding is that waste revenue is able to cover 169.5% of non-raw material operational costs, including electricity, salaries, and machine maintenance expenses. Direct waste sales constitute a vital cross-subsidy mechanism for ensuring the efficiency and financial sustainability of rice milling business units.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of punctuality and ease of use of the Access by KAI application on passenger satisfaction of KAI Commuterline Bandung Raya Daop 2 at Rancaekek Station. Issues related to train delays and technical problems in using the Access by KAI application are suspected to affect passenger satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to passengers who use the Access by KAI application. The independent variables in this study are punctuality and ease of use of the application, while the dependent variable is passenger satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that punctuality and ease of use of the Access by KAI application have a significant effect on passenger satisfaction, both simultaneously and partially.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has brought various innovations in payment systems, especially e-wallets which are increasingly popular among young generations. This article examines the application of sharia values in the use of e-wallets by Muslim Generation Z in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods with Muslim Generation Z e-wallet users, this research explores understanding, perceptions, and practices of using e-wallets from a sharia perspective. The research results show that the majority of respondents have awareness of the importance of compliance of financial products with Islamic values, but in-depth understanding of sharia aspects in e-wallets is still limited. It was found that factors of convenience, promotions, and transaction speed are more dominant in influencing e-wallet choices compared to sharia considerations. These findings indicate the need for increasing digital sharia financial literacy and developing e-wallet features that more explicitly apply sharia principles to meet the needs of the growing young Muslim market.

Abstract

This article examines the role of digital technology integration as a strategic approach to enhancing operational productivity and creating sustainable business value in the modern era. Amid rapid digital transformation, technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, IoT, and data analytics not only automate routine processes but also enable service personalization, business model innovation, and real- time data-driven decision-making. Through a literature review and conceptual analysis, this study demonstrates that successful technology integration depends on alignment with core business strategy, human capital readiness, and commitment to ethical and sustainable data governance. Challenges including digital skills gaps, organizational resistance, and system fragmentation must be addressed through a holistic approach. The findings affirm that effective digital transformation is not merely about adopting tools, but about fundamentally reshaping organizational culture and strategy to deliver long-term value in an increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing interest of Generation Z in Indonesia in halal skincare products, Skincare Store on IAIN Street, Medan, which not only offers functional benefits, but also guarantees safety, cleanliness, and compatibility with the values they hold. This study aims to describe in depth how brand trust and halal labels influence the purchasing decisions of two skincare products that are currently popular among young consumers, namely Dörskin Pink Bliss Moisturizer and Glad2Glow Cherry Blossom Betaine Micellar Water. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through in-depth interviews with active users of both products, observations of halal skincare usage experiences, and analysis of digital reviews on social media, which serves as the primary reference platform, for Generation Z. The research findings indicate that brand trust acts as an initial factor in building consumer confidence before they decide to purchase. This trust is formed from several important aspects, including a positive brand image on social media, numerous authentic testimonials and reviews from other users, transparency from the manufacturer in communicating ingredient content, and consistent quality in product results. Dörskin and Glad2Glow are viewed as credible brands because they offer products that are safe, effective, and tailored to the needs of teenage and young adult skin..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pricing strategy and service quality on customer satisfaction in contemporary coffee shops. The growth of the modern coffee industry encourages businesses to optimize competitive pricing and quality service to maintain customer loyalty. The research method used was quantitative, with a survey approach using a questionnaire to 100 respondents, customers of contemporary coffee shops. The results showed that pricing strategy had a significant effect on customer satisfaction, while service quality had a stronger influence. The combination of the two contributed positively to increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. These findings indicate that contemporary coffee businesses need to optimize the alignment of prices with perceived value and improve the quality of frontline service to maintain competitiveness.
