Abstract

Competition in the cafe business in Medan City is getting tighter as the dynamics of urban lifestyles have made cafes both social spaces and recreational areas. This situation requires business actors to design effective marketing strategies to create satisfaction and maintain customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the marketing strategy implemented by Cafe Perdana710 in an effort to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research analysis focuses on the implementation of the 4P marketing mix. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey technique of 60 Cafe Perdana710 customers. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained from internal business documents and various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that all elements of the marketing mix, namely product, price, place, and promotion, have a positive influence on the level of customer satisfaction, which in turn contributes to the formation of customer loyalty. Among the four variables, the place and product aspects have the most dominant influence in increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and profitability on firm value in PT United Tractors Tbk for the period 2014–2023. The variables used in this research include capital structure measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), profitability measured by the Return on Assets (ROA), and firm value measured by the Price to Book Value (PBV). This research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that partially, capital structure (DER) has no significant effect on firm value, with a significance value of 0.100 > 0.05. Meanwhile, profitability (ROA) has a significant and negative effect on firm value, with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of –0,069. Simultaneously, capital structure and profitability significantly influence firm value, as evidenced by the F-statistic of 9.836 greater than the F-table value of 4.74 with a significance level of 0.009 < 0.05. These findings suggest that the combination of financing decisions and profitability performance jointly shapes investor perceptions of firm value, although DER individually does not play a significant role.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy of Cocoa Butter Bakery in Purwokerto using the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). The research is motivated by the increasing competition in the local culinary business sector and the need for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to optimize digital marketing in order to enhance brand awareness and sales performance. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the business owner, employees, and customers of Cocoa Butter, while the research object focused on the sales and marketing communication strategies implemented. The findings indicate that Cocoa Butter has applied all stages of the AIDA model; however, the level of effectiveness is not evenly distributed across each stage. The Attention and Action stages require further strengthening, particularly through the use of digital advertising, interactive content, and online sales promotions. Meanwhile, product quality, customer experience, and attractive visual presentation serve as key strengths in the Interest and Desire stages. This study concludes that the AIDA model provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating marketing effectiveness and can serve as a basis for developing more integrated and sustainable digital marketing strategies for local culinary businesses.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the economy; however, in practice they often face managerial challenges, particularly in decision-making processes. This study aims to analyze decision-making constraints in the MSME Warung Seblak Teh Ros, focusing on labor management, capital management, raw material management, and marketing. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an observational approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with the business owner, and supporting documentation. The results indicate that decision-making at Warung Seblak Teh Ros is still simple and intuitive, yet sufficiently effective in maintaining business sustainability. The main constraints identified include limited labor, the absence of structured financial records, fluctuating raw material prices, and limited marketing strategies. Nevertheless, adaptive decisions made by the business owner have had a positive impact on the increase in the number of customers throughout 2024. The study concludes that the quality of managerial decision-making, even when applied in a simple manner, plays a crucial role in supporting MSME sustainability. This research is expected to serve as a reference for MSME actors in improving the effectiveness of business decision-making.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Education Level and Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration (DISDUKCAPIL) of South Tangerang City, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative research type.The results of the t-test show that the Education Level has a significant effect on Employee Performance, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a t-value of 7.904 > t-table of 1.987. Meanwhile, the Physical Work Environment has no significant effect on Employee Performance, with a significance value of 0.398 > 0.05 and a t-value of |0.849| < t-table of 1.987.The results of the F-test indicate that Education Level and Physical Work Environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and an F-value of 61.363 > F-table of 3.10.The results of the Coefficient of Determination (Adjusted R-Square) test show a value of 0.576 or 57.6%, which means that simultaneously the influence of Education Level and Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance contributes 57.6%, while the remaining 42.4% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Real estate development is a strategic sector closely linked to the dynamics of regional economic growth. Not only does it serve as a provider of housing needs, but it also plays a role in driving local economic activity through job creation, increasing land values, and the growth of the trade and services sectors. This article aims to comprehensively examine the impact of real estate development on the local economic sector through a literature study approach. The method used is a systematic literature review of national and international scientific articles obtained through the Google Scholar database. The results of the study indicate that real estate development generally makes a positive contribution to the local economy, particularly in increasing community income and diversifying livelihoods. However, real estate development also triggers the conversion of agricultural land and has the potential to cause social and environmental impacts if not managed sustainably. Therefore, integrated development planning is needed to ensure that the economic benefits of real estate development are balanced with social and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT Kalimanggis Trans Logistics, South Tangerang, with a sample of 71 employees. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data analysis techniques applied include the classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, t-test, and F-test. The results indicate that leadership style has no significant effect on employee performance, as shown by the regression equation Y = 81.183 + 0.218X₁, with a correlation value of 0.205 and t-value < t-table (1.740 < 1.996), suggesting a weak relationship. Meanwhile, work discipline significantly affects employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 19.353 + 0.804X₂ and a correlation value of 0.811, indicating a strong relationship. Simultaneously, leadership style and work discipline significantly influence employee performance, as demonstrated by the regression equation Y = 37.419 + 0.440X₁ + 1.004X₂. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.770, indicating that 77.0% of employee performance variation is explained by the two variables. The F-test results show F-value > F-table (113.911 > 3.13) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming that leadership style and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

The global transition from the gold-backed Bretton Woods system to a fiat monetary system in 1971 marked a fundamental shift in the structure of the world economy and contributed to the emergence of the circular economy as an alternative to the linear economic model. Under the Bretton Woods framework, major currencies such as the British pound (GBP), the Indonesian rupiah (IDR), and several European currencies were relatively stable due to their linkage to gold. However, in practice, the implementation of the circular economy has often been approached primarily from a technical perspective, emphasizing efficiency and resource optimization while neglecting ethical, social, and spiritual dimensions. In this context, the principles of maqashid shariah—which aim to safeguard religion, life, intellect, progeny, and wealth—offer a normative and ethical foundation for promoting a more just and sustainable economic system. This article seeks to examine the role of maqashid shariah principles in advancing the concept of Green Sharia Business as a strategic framework to encourage the adoption of a circular economy in Indonesia. The concept of Green Sharia Business integrates Islamic ethical values with circular economy principles to support sustainable development.The government plays a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of this concept through the enforcement of environmentally oriented regulations, the provision of fiscal incentives such as tax benefits, and capacity-building programs for sharia-based business actors in adopting circular economy practices. Consequently, the integration of maqashid shariah and the circular economy is expected to foster an economic system that not only prioritizes financial performance but also ensures long-term social and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the Instagram account of the MSME Omah Batir as a digital marketing medium based on social media. The use of Instagram by MSMEs has become increasingly strategic along with changes in consumer behavior that rely on social media to seek information, evaluate products, and interact with business actors. This research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive statistical methods. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 51 respondents who are active followers of the Omah Batir Instagram account. User satisfaction was measured based on five main indicators: content quality, visual appeal, interaction, account manager responsiveness, and users’ intention to follow or loyalty. The results indicate that the majority of respondents provided positive evaluations across all examined indicators. Informative and consistent content, attractive visual presentation, and effective interaction and responsiveness from the account administrator were found to contribute significantly to user satisfaction. Furthermore, user loyalty was relatively high, as reflected in the willingness to continue following and recommending the account to others. These findings suggest that the management of the Omah Batir Instagram account has been effective and may serve as a reference for other MSMEs in developing user satisfaction–oriented digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of consumer trust and service quality on purchasing decisions of mobile credit and vouchers at Anggun Cell Counter. Despite the rapid growth of digital payment platforms, physical mobile credit counters continue to play an important role, especially for consumers who prefer direct transactions and personal interaction. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 130 respondents who were customers of Anggun Cell Counter in Juwiring District, Klaten Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, targeting respondents aged 18-40 years who had made at least one purchase. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS Statistics 27. The results indicate that consumer trust and service quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Among the two variables, service quality shows a more dominant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. These findings confirm that relational factors and service experiences remain crucial determinants of purchasing decisions in offline mobile credit retail businesses. This study provides empirical evidence that enriches the literature on service marketing and consumer behavior, while also offering practical insights for MSME owners to enhance service performance and build sustainable consumer trust.
