Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine how female entrepreneurs can work together to improve business ventures in the MSME food industry in the Surabaya area. Qualitative analysis as well as in-depth interviews and documentation studies are the methodologies used. The findings of this research indicate that cooperation among women entrepreneurs can increase market accessibility, operational effectiveness and product innovation. Additionally, women entrepreneurs play an important role in expanding managerial skills and creating support systems. In addition to improving the status of women in the MSME food industry, this partnership encourages regional economic development.

Abstract

Planning investment in personal financial management, especially among students, is very important. Investment serves as one way to learn to manage finances, both for current and future needs. However, the lack of understanding of investment decision making often makes students vulnerable to fraud, especially because they are tempted by tempting investment offers. This study aims to identify and analyze theories that discuss the influence of financial literacy, risk perception, and financial behavior on investment decisions, with locus of control as a moderating variable. This study refers to signal theory and prospect theory, and uses a literature review approach. In this study, related variables and previous research results are discussed theoretically. The research findings show differences in the influence of financial literacy, risk perception, and financial behavior on investment decisions. Moderation by locus of control is proven to have a significant role, although there is no clear agreement from the research findings. This study contributes by offering deeper insights to explain ongoing related phenomena.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze theories that discuss the influence of working capital management, dividend policy, and free cash flow on stock returns with profitability as a moderating variable. Stock returns are investment benefits obtained by investors from invested capital, in the form of dividends and capital gains, namely the positive difference between the purchase and sale prices of shares. This study is based on grand theory, signal theory, and agency theory. The method used in this study is a literature review, by presenting theoretical studies, other explanatory variables, and previous research results. The results of the analysis show differences in findings related to the relationship between working capital management, dividend policy, and free cash flow on stock returns. Profitability as a moderating variable plays an important role, although there have been no consistent conclusions from the various studies reviewed. This study contributes to providing a deeper understanding to explain related phenomena and opens up opportunities for further research on this topic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of ISO 31000 in risk management at PT. XYZ, which faces challenges in identifying and managing operational risks. The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of implementing ISO 31000 standards in reducing risks and improving the company's operational efficiency. A case study method with a qualitative approach was used, involving in-depth interviews and document analysis related to risk management. The results indicate that the implementation of ISO 31000 assists PT. XYZ in building a systematic framework for risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation, thereby reducing the frequency and impact of operational risks. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other companies implementing ISO 31000 standards.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the phenomenon of toxic relationships that occur between teachers and students and fellow co-workers in the school environment. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore the experiences and perceptions of participants through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study revealed that toxic relationships between teachers and students are often characterized by authoritarian behavior, verbal intimidation, and lack of empathy, which have a negative impact on students' mental health and learning motivation. Meanwhile, toxic relationships between co-workers arise from internal conflicts, lack of effective communication, and unhealthy competition, which affect the work climate and professionalism in the school environment. This study highlights the importance of emotion management training, interpersonal communication development programs, and school policies that support a healthy work culture to prevent and address toxic relationships in the educational environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Struktur Modal dan Pertumbuhan Laba terhadap Kualitas Laba pada Perusahaan Asuransi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019-2023. Metode sampel yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling. 13 perusahaan asuransi umum dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan diolah dengan bantuan perangkat lunak IBM Statistics 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal dan pertumbuhan laba tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laba namun memiliki arah positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam manajemen sumber daya insani (SDI) di bank syariah, dengan fokus pada empat dimensi utama: pengetahuan (knowledge), keterampilan (skill), sikap kerja (attitude), dan spiritualitas (spirituality). Bank syariah sebagai institusi keuangan yang berlandaskan syariat Islam, dituntut untuk tidak hanya mengembangkan kompetensi teknis karyawan, tetapi juga memastikan bahwa mereka berperilaku dan bekerja sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada beberapa bank syariah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bank syariah secara sistematis mengintegrasikan keilmuan dan keterampilan melalui pelatihan dan pendidikan berkelanjutan, mengembangkan sikap kerja Islami yang menekankan pada amanah dan integritas, serta meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual karyawan melalui program-program keagamaan. Implementasi nilai-nilai Islam ini terbukti memperkuat profesionalisme, kreativitas, produktivitas, dan kesadaran sosial karyawan dalam menjalankan tugas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan SDI di bank syariah dan organisasi berbasis syariah lainnya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of innovation variables, product quality and Instagram social media simultaneously, partially and dominantly on consumer purchasing interest in Resya Cakes and Bakery in Paser Regency. Product innovation (X1), product quality (X2) and Instagram social media are used as independent variables while consumer purchasing interest (Y) is used as the dependent variable. The research method used is quantitative research. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results in this research show that the independent variables have a partial effect, namely innovation of 0.534, product quality of 0.109 and Instagram of 0.104 on the dependent variable consumer buying interest. Simultaneously, it can be seen that the results obtained through F calculation are 519.776 and the probability value is 0.000 and the dominant variable is the product innovation variable with a value of 0.534. The conclusion of this research is that there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously, partially and dominantly between the Innovation, Product Quality and Instagram social media variables on consumer buying interest at the Resya Cake and Bakery Shop in Paser Regency.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the way customers think about conducting banking transactions, where they prioritize ease, flexibility, efficiency, and simplicity. Mobile banking is one of the services provided by banks to enable customers to carry out their banking activities at any time without having to visit the bank in person. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of service features and ease of use on the interest in using BSI Mobile among students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at Universitas Islam Negeri Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi.This research uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study consists of 336 respondents, and a random sampling technique was employed, selecting participants based on the region of the research object. The data analysis technique used to answer the research questions is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program.The t-test results indicate that the service feature variable has a t-value greater than the t-table, specifically 190.629 > 3.02, meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This implies that there is a significant effect of service features on interest. Similarly, the ease of use variable has a t-value greater than the t-table, specifically 4.421 > 1.967, meaning Ho1 is accepted and Ho2 is rejected. This shows that ease of use significantly influences the interest in using BSI Mobile.

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the analysis of work discipline in improving employee performance at PT Tunas Lima Warna. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the extent to which work discipline influences employee performance. The research methodology involves collecting data through surveys and interviews with employees at PT Tunas Lima Warna. The research results show that work discipline has a significant influence on improving employee performance. Factors such as compliance with company regulations, punctuality, and responsibility are important components in improving employee performance. The implication of this research is the importance of paying attention to developing employee work discipline as an effort to improve the quality of performance which ultimately achieves company goals effectively and efficiently. PT Tunas Lima Warna management can implement training and coaching programs to improve employee work discipline. Apart from that, companies also employees who show good work discipline. This research provides a significant contribution to understanding the importance of work discipline in improving employee performance. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a basis for companies in developing effective and efficient human resource management strategies to achieve organizational goals. The conclusion of this research shows that work discipline is an important factor that needs to be improved to improve employee performance. This research suggests PT Tunas Lima Warna to continue implementing and strengthening work discipline policies to achieve increased employee performance.
