Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using E-comic learning media based on local wisdom on the reading literacy skills of grade V students of SDN Karangduak II. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasy exprimental desaign method. The research sample was fifth grade students of SDN Karangduak II consisting of experimental and control classes. E-comic learning media was developed by integrating local wisdom values to increase students' engagement and understanding in reading activities. Data were collected through reading literacy test, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using statistical tests to determine the significance of differences in learning outcomes between the experimental group using E-comics media based on local wisdom and the control group using conventional learning media. The results showed a significant positive effect of using E-comic learning media based on local wisdom on improving the reading literacy skills of fifth grade students of SDN Karangduak II.

Abstract

Primary School (SD) education in 2024 aims to prepare the young generation who are able to compete and innovate in the ever-growing digital era. The "Golden Generation" which is the nation's hope must be equipped with 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and adequate digital literacy. With the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, education at the elementary level places more emphasis on developing students' individual potential, providing space for more flexible learning, and focusing on skills that are relevant to the needs of the world of work in the future. Additionally, technology plays an important role in supporting learning, enabling students to access digital resources, collaborate online, and develop necessary technical skills. This article examines the importance of implementing 21st century skills in elementary education, the challenges in implementing appropriate education policies, and the role of technology in enriching students' learning experiences. Holistic education, including the development of students' social and emotional intelligence, is an important foundation for forming a generation that not only excels in academics, but also has strong character.

Abstract

National Education aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe in and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive critical analysis approach, however there will be challenges that can arise and hinder the formation of student character, the demands of academic achievement that must be achieved by students are more dominant, to the exclusion of the formation of student personality character. The aim of character building is to train a sense of cooperation. With the presence of character, you can train a sense of concern for one another so that students can train cohesiveness in groups. In the process of developing a character, to train self-confidence in students, there are many obstacles that must be faced, therefore it must involve various parties. parents because students spend a lot of time together, parents' involvement in building a confident character in students is very important and crucial.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing the basics taught in elementary schools using a qualitative approach method, with observational data collection techniques and data collection processes through analysis and content. The results of this research succeeded in revealing several types of basic development taught in elementary schools, including physical development, cognitive development, social development, emotional development, language and communication development, creativity and imagination development. The conclusion from the results of this research is that several types of development taught in elementary schools are important developments to be mastered and understood by students who are of productive age.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the curls' social media impact on the student's communication patterns at the SDN window 208. In the age of civilization 5.0, advances in digital technology have affected various aspects of life, including education. Ticktock, as one of the most popular social media platforms, is widely used by elementary school students to express creativity and interact socially. However, unsupervised tapping may have a negative effect on communication behavior, such as immodest language use and inappropriate imitation of behavior. The study also explfies efforts a teacher can make to enhance the student's speech and modesty. Findings suggest that while ticktock may have benefits, such as encouraging creativity and reducing boredom, it can also interfere with the development of a child's character if not well supervised. Therefore, educators play a vital role in directing the use of social media to have a positive impact on a student's communication pattern.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out that this Bullying behavior is very dangerous, and should not be normalized. This article was also created to find out how to overcome Bullying and what the role of teachers is in Bullying behavior in elementary schools. When there was news of Bullying against elementary school students which resulted in death, almost everyone was shocked and blamed each other. The world of education is being sued by both the Ministry of Education, schools and teachers who teach. Parents are also questioned about their role in educating children. Bullying is a form of aggressive, violent action that hurts other people continuously The causes are varied, starting from a family environment that is always fighting, shows that are less educational, a social environment that is less friendly and even teachers who still don't fully understand how to deal with Bullying behavior at school. The method we use in this article is qualitative research (literature study or literature review) with various written sources available through reading journals, scientific articles, books and relevant reports.

Abstract

This research aims to provide understanding to discuss the implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) strategies as an active method in increasing student involvement in elementary schools. This research uses the systematic literature review (LSR) research method. This data was obtained from various data sources through search, assessment and analysis from written and trusted sources. The research results show that Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is an innovative pedagogical approach that provides meaningful learning experiences through real project activities. This strategy allows students to develop complex skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving directly in an authentic learning context. Through PjBL, students do not just receive passive information, but actively design, explore and complete challenging projects according to the expected competencies. Implementing the PjBL strategy requires systematic planning from educators. Teachers act as facilitators who design learning projects that are challenging but still appropriate to the developmental stages of elementary school students. The main challenge in implementing PjBL is teacher competence in designing and guiding the learning process.

Abstract

Sanggar Peni in Krebet Hamlet produces various wooden batik crafts such as key chains, wooden spoons and forks, masks, statues, mirror frames, and other souvenirs. However, there are production layout issues that cause time wastage and lower efficiency. One example is the distance between production processes, such as from cutting to engraving which takes 86,520 seconds with a distance of 41 meters, and from engraving to sanding which takes 23,312 seconds with the same distance. Research using lean manufacturing methods, Current Value Stream Mapping (CVSM), Block Plan, and OMH revealed the time required at various stages of production. The cutting process required a total of 391.25 seconds (320 seconds for operation and 71.25 seconds for transportation), engraving 2,018.38 seconds (2,000 seconds for operation and 18.38 seconds for transportation), and sanding 763 seconds (752 seconds for operation and 10.83 seconds for transportation). The total material handling cost reaches Rp16,214 per day. Based on Block Plan analysis, the highest R-Score value of 0.95 indicates optimal efficiency in the arrangement of production facilities, which is expected to reduce time wastage and increase productivity on demand. Abstract

This article aims to explore the influence of children's cognitive development on learning in elementary schools. This article uses the systematic literature review (SLR) research method. This data was obtained from various data sources through search, assessment and analysis from written and trusted sources. The data collection process was carried out by searching for journal literature, articles online using the Google Scholar search engine and Open Knowledge Maps from 2019 to 2024 which had gone through a filtering process from 958 articles to 21 articles. The results of the discussion of this article show that children's cognitive development greatly influences learning in elementary school. Children who have high cognitive abilities will find it easier to receive, capture and understand the material they are studying, and vice versa, children with low cognitive abilities will experience difficulty in receiving, capturing and understanding the material they are studying. A child's cognitive development can be influenced by several factors such as the learning environment, the quality of teaching received by the child, the third factor is the child's diet, and the final factor is the social aspect. Therefore, it is important to collaborate between teachers and parents to understand children's cognitive development stages and develop appropriate learning strategies.

Abstract

Abstract. Sexual assault and harassment against women are forms of gender-based violence that have become serious issues in various countries, both developing and developed. This problem involves not only individual aspects but also results from discriminatory social norms that place women in subordinate positions. Social stigma often serves as a barrier for victims to report incidents, while patriarchal culture exacerbates gender injustice. The psychological impact on victims is significant, causing trauma that disrupts mental health. Women's financial dependence also contributes to the difficulty of fighting violence, perpetuating this cycle. Additionally, the development of technology and social media has created new forms of harassment, such as cyber harassment, which are becoming increasingly complex. A lack of digital literacy makes women vulnerable targets. Therefore, there is a need for an approach that integrates education, legal reform, and social support to address this issue. Efforts to empower women and prevent gender-based violence must be designed to involve all layers of society and address the root causes of gender inequality.
