Abstract

This paper aims to determine the enforcement of the law on Sexual Violence in Indonesia, using a normative legal research method based on existing legal norms and their application. The purpose of criminal law is to protect human rights. Including in the form of criminal law enforcement, especially Sexual Violence. Sexual violence is any form of sexual activity that is unwanted or has elements of pressure, threats, and coercion. Women are the group most vulnerable to becoming victims. Given the high rate of sexual violence, the Republic of Indonesia has passed Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence on May 9, 2022, which is applied in a lex-specialis manner which is expected to provide stronger legal protection. As in the decision No.47/Pid.sus/2023/PN.Gst on September 6, 2023, it is explained that the defendant OT, as the Village Head, committed the Crime of Sexual Violence which was carried out continuously, by promising work as staff to the victim witness WT, who is a resident of the village. Based on the defendant's actions, the Panel of Judges charged the defendant OT with an alternative charge in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 letter c of Law Number. 12 of 2022 in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. In this decision, the Panel of Judges also considered preventive and educational aspects in line with the retributive theory and utilitarian theory approaches.

Abstract

This study intended to (1) compare the differences in career anxiety levels between male and female students, (2) assess the level of career anxiety among male students, (3) determine the level of career anxiety of female students. A comparative descriptive quantitativ approach is the basis of this study. Participants in this study involved students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sanata Dharma University, class of 2021, consisting of 21 male students and 51 female students. Data collection used the career anxiety adoption scale from Samosir (2023) developed by Tsai et al. (2017). Valid items in this study numbered 24 out of a total of 25 items. The reliability coefficient value calculated using Cronbach’s Alpha was 0.817. Based on the result of the t-test, a significant difference was found in the level of career anxiety betweet male and female final year students. With an average score of 60.33 for male students and 53.37 for female students, these results indicate that male students in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of Sanata Dharma University experience higher levels ofcareer anxiety.

Abstract

Islamic banks emerge as an alternative financial system that is free from usury and operates based on Sharia principles. However, the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia still faces challenges in terms of competitiveness and efficiency. To address these challenges, the government through the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises BUMN merged three state-owned Islamic banks, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah, and BRI Syariah into Bank Syariah Indonesia BSI in 2021. The unification process required time and the right strategy to integrate three banks with different work cultures, operational systems, and policies. This integration affects the growth and stability of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through a literature review of legislation, academic journals, and relevant scientific articles. As a strategic step, this merger is expected to strengthen Islamic banking to become more competitive both nationally and globally. Continuous innovation and capital structure reinforcement are necessary to support the growth of a Sharia-based economy.

Abstract

Stunting is a term from a dwarf or short body in children under the age of 5 years that experiences a condition of failure to grow due to chronic malnutrition and recurring infections that occur during the period of the first 1,000 days of life (HPK), namely from the fetus to children aged 24 months. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge about immunization and the completeness of basic immunization with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Baiturrahman Health Center. This type of research is quantitative descriptive correlative. The population of all mothers who have toddlers in the working area of the Baiturrahman Health Center in Banda Aceh City, with a total population of 584 toddlers. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling so as to obtain the number of samples of 85 respondents. Data collection techniques using a modified questionnaire from previous studies with the R count validity test (0.968) and the validity test results (0.936) and observation sheets. The results showed that the mother's knowledge of immunization was in the good category (72.9%), the majority of stunting (57.6%), with a complete basic immunization status (89.4%). The absence of a significant relationship between mother's knowledge of immunization and the incidence of stunting p-value 0.120 (> 0.05). There is a significant relationship between the status of a decades of immunization and the event of stunting, with a p-value of 0.023 (<0.05).

Abstract

Laboratory staff knowledge is one of the key factors in ensuring the success of internal quality control in blood glucose testing. This study aims to determine the relationship between laboratory staff knowledge and the implementation of internal quality control at the Laboratory of RSUD Bahteramas, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to laboratory staff. Instrument testing was conducted through pilot testing, and data normality was assessed using the Shapiro-Wilk test. The relationship was analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed a significant relationship between staff knowledge and the implementation of internal quality control (p < 0.05). High knowledge contributed to more consistent and accurate application of quality procedures. These findings are supported by previous studies showing that staff knowledge competence positively correlates with the quality of laboratory services. This study is expected to serve as a basis for hospital management to improve technical training and supervision of laboratory staff.

Abstract

The lack of students' understanding of mathematics concept understandingiscaused by the use of monotonous teaching materials such as student worksheets(LKS) which are not contextual and have not been integrated with culture andthelack of technology utilization in learning. This research aims to developaninnovative ethnomathematics-based e-module by integrating SalemBrebes batikmotifs into mathematics learning to support students' concept understanding. Thisresearch is a type of research and development (R&D) with the development model used is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The researchinstruments used in this study include validation sheets by media and material experts, as well as practicality questionnaires by students. The final product developed is an interactive e-module called Etnomedia which contains materialssuch as lines and angles, triangles and quadrilaterals, congruence, rows andseries, geometric transformations, and dimension three. The results of mediavalidation amounted to 90.5%, while the media validation results amountedto90.5%, while the material expert validation was 96.6%, both of which were inthevery valid category. The practicality test by students obtained a score of 86%, which is included in the very practical category. Thus, Etnomedia is consideredfeasible in the contextual learning process of mathematics andisable to foster appreciation for local culture.

Abstract

Pupils' motivation to learn mathematics, particularly probability-related content, is still comparatively low. This is brought on by dry teaching strategies, low levels of student participation, and a dearth of engaging learning resources. In light of these circumstances, the goal of this study is to create edutainment-based learning materials with the use of Smart Apps Creator (Edupro) to boost grade X vocational high school students' motivation to learn about probability. The 4D development approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) is used in this form of research and development (R&D). Teachers' and students' practicality questionnaires and validation sheets from media and material specialists are among the research tools. The purpose of the evaluation was to ascertain the developed media's degree of validity and usefulness. According to the findings, Edupro media received a very valid category validation score of 92.11% from media professionals and 91.67% from material experts. 22 students scored 90% on the practicality test, which is considered very practical. As a result, the Edupro media is approved for use in mathematics classes that cover probability. According to the study's findings, Edupro media can serve as a useful substitute for encouraging students to learn. Testing its impact on learning objectives and creating comparable media for other resources are two further suggestions.

Abstract

Compliance with the diet of type 2 diabetes mellitus sufferers is one of the important things in management because sufferers often do not pay attention to balanced food intake. A good family role will influence the implementation of the diabetes mellitus treatment program undertaken by the patient. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between family roles and dietary compliance in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. The research design is an analytical survey that tries to explore how and why this phenomenon occurs. Then carry out a dynamic analysis of the correlation between phenomena, both between risk factors and effect factors. This research uses a cross sectional approach, namely a research design by taking measurements at the same time. The total population for this study was all 104 diabetes patients hospitalized at Horas Insani Pematang Siantar Hospital. Sampling was taken using a purposive sampling technique, namely determining samples with certain considerations, meaning that each subject taken from the population was chosen deliberately based on certain objectives and considerations, the number of samples required was 51 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet while testing was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment test because the data distribution did not have a normal distribution, namely <0.05. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between the role of the family and dietary compliance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Horas Insani Pematang Siantar Hospital with a p value of 0.001. Suggestions for future researchers can be used as basic reference material for conducting further research regarding the relationship to controlling diabetes mellitus and can conduct research with different variables such as family support, level of knowledge, the role of health workers and self-motivation.

Abstract

Gout is usually characterized by hyperuricemia (increased uric acid levels in the blood) and is characterized by rheumatic pain in the joints, pain, tenderness, redness and swelling. This condition is known as gout. Gout is a disease that can be controlled even if it is not cured, but if left alone, this condition can develop into crippling arthritis. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of giving red ginger compresses on reducing the pain scale in gouty arthritis sufferers at Horas Insani Hospital. This research design uses a Quasi experimental design with a one group pre-posttest design where this research is carried out by observing groups of subjects before the intervention, then observing again after the intervention. The total population for this study was all 16 gouty arthritis patients who visited Horas Insani Pematang Siantar Hospital in January – April 2023. Sampling was taken using total sampling technique. Total sampling means the number of samples is the same as the population or the entire population used as a sample is 16 people. The instruments used were observation sheets and the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire with the Wilcoxon test because the data distribution did not have a normal distribution, namely <0.05. The research results showed that the pain scale for gouty arthritis patients before being given the intervention was the lowest score of 4 and the highest was 6 in the moderate pain category and the pain scale after being given the intervention was the lowest score of 2 and the highest was 4 in the mild pain category. The conclusion of this study was that there was an effect of giving red ginger compresses on reducing the pain scale in gout arthritis sufferers at Horas Insani Hospital with a p value of 0.001 < 0.05. Suggestions for future researchers can develop research by controlling gout arthritis pain by providing non-pharmacological therapy such as acupressure therapy, Benson relaxation, guided imagery and others. Apart from that, future researchers can use a control group and can compare it with other aromatherapy.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro melalui motivasi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian Explanatory Research. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 70 orang. Sampel ditentukan sebanyak 70 orang menggunakan total sampling. Pengujian terhadap hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis data Partial Last Square (PLS). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan Persepsi pegawai tentang Kepemimpinan Transformasional, pelatihan, motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai Inspektorat Kabupaten Bojonegoro termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi pegawai. Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi pegawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pelatihan secara langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui Motivasi pegawai. Pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui Motivasi pegawai.
