Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang perumusan visi dan misi pendidikan Islam yang visioner dan ideal melalui pendekatan kajian pustaka. Pendidikan Islam berperan strategis dalam membentuk pribadi beradab yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual tetapi juga memiliki integritas spiritual dan moral sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Namun, dalam praktiknya, banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam masih menghadapi tantangan dalam merumuskan visi dan misi yang jelas, terarah, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman. Tulisan ini menekankan bahwa visi merupakan gambaran ideal masa depan yang menjadi arah dan motivasi, sedangkan misi merupakan tugas-tugas operasional yang harus dijalankan untuk mencapai visi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya perencanaan manajerial yang komprehensif dalam merumuskan visi dan misi pendidikan Islam agar dapat menjadi pedoman yang efektif untuk menghadapi tantangan global dan membangun generasi yang beradab.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has made gadgets an inseparable part of education, bringing both positive impacts and challenges for students' character formation. This study aims to analyze the similarities and differences between progressivism and reconstructionism perspectives on gadget utilization, and integrate them with Islamic education philosophy values. A qualitative research method with library research approach was used through descriptive-comparative analysis of relevant literature sources. The results show that progressivism views gadgets as tools for individual development through active learning, while reconstructionism emphasizes gadget's transformative function for social change. Integration of these two perspectives within Islamic education philosophy framework produces a conceptual framework that balances technological advancement with value-based character building. This study concludes the importance of philosophical approach in viewing gadget utilization to ensure not only pedagogical effectiveness but also moral and spiritual meaningfulness.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of physiological workload that occurs during material handling activities at PT XYZ by using a simulation-based approach supported by heart rate monitoring. Due to limited access to the active production area, the researchers developed a simulation that closely represents the actual operational conditions. Five participants performed repetitive lifting of 8–10 kg loads for ten minutes as a representation of the company’s manual handling tasks. Heart rate measurements were taken in three phases: before the activity, during the task, and during the recovery period. The results show that working heart rates ranged from 105 to 122 bpm, which falls into the heavy workload category according to Tarwaka’s physiological classification (2015). These findings indicate that manual material handling places considerable physical strain on workers and requires ergonomic interventions to prevent excessive fatigue. Recommended improvements include implementing proper lifting techniques, adjusting work–rest cycles, utilizing simple assisting tools, and ensuring a more balanced distribution of workload to reduce physiological stress.

Abstract

This study analyzes public sentiment toward the Coretax tax system based on user opinions posted on the X (Twitter) platform. The objective is to assess how the public perceives the system’s stability, accessibility, and performance during periods of high usage. A quantitative text-based approach was applied using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. Data were collected through web scraping of tweets containing Coretax-related keywords and processed through six preprocessing stages: case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. Sentiment classification was conducted using the IndoBERT model mdhugol/indonesia-bert-sentiment-classification, which categorized tweets into positive, negative, and neutral classes. The results show that 181 tweets expressed positive sentiment, 171 negative sentiment, and 29 neutral sentiment. Negative sentiment predominantly relates to system errors and login difficulties, whereas positive sentiment commonly appears when the system functions normally. These findings demonstrate that system instability remains the primary factor influencing negative perceptions of Coretax and provide useful insights for improving the reliability of digital tax services.

Abstract

This study aims to systematize the development of machine learning applications for predicting corporate bankruptcy risk using a PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A total of 17 articles published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed to map research trends, compare algorithm performance, and evaluate the role of financial and non-financial data in prediction models. The findings indicate a clear shift from traditional statistical approaches toward machine learning algorithms such as SVM, Random Forest, ANN, and Deep Neural Networks, which consistently demonstrate higher accuracy across various countries and industries. The integration of Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly annual report text analysis using BERT, enhances early detection of financial distress. However, challenges remain, including imbalanced data, overfitting risks, and limited model interpretability. These insights contribute to the development of more adaptive bankruptcy prediction models and highlight the importance of incorporating Explainable AI (XAI) to improve model transparency and reliability.

Abstract

Background: Nurses play a critical role in clinical decision-making, yet the process often faces challenges such as patient complexity, limited access to information, and high workload. The application of Decision Support System (DSS) or Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) provides technological assistance to enhance patient safety and elevate the quality of nursing care. Objective: This literature review aims to analyze the implementation of DSS or CDSS in supporting clinical decisions, evaluating nurse performance, applying data mining techniques in nursing practice, and identifying challenges in their application. Methods: This study utilized a literature review approach using 15 relevant journal articles focusing on DSS or CDSS in nursing. Thematic analysis was conducted to categorize evidence into clinical decision support, performance management, data-driven decision making, and implementation barriers. Results: DSS or CDSS improves the accuracy of nursing diagnoses, enhances triage effectiveness, and reduces medication errors. Multi-criteria methods such as AHP, WP, and SAW have been used to provide objective and transparent nurse performance evaluations. Data mining techniques such as Apriori or ARM help explore patterns between interventions and clinical outcomes to support evidence-based nursing. Nevertheless, challenges remain regarding data quality, user adoption, and system integration with nursing workflows. Conclusion: DSS or CDSS has a strong potential to support the digital transformation of nursing services. However, successful implementation requires organizational support, user training, and the development of systems that are user-friendly and aligned with clinical needs.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly impacted learning in higher education, including the rise of digital distraction among university students. This theoretical review aims to integrate various concepts, models, and empirical findings related to digital distraction based on relevant literature. The study employed a theoretical review approach by analyzing articles addressing classroom distraction frequency, self-regulation mechanisms, and the dimensions of the Smartphone Distraction Scale (SDS). The synthesis reveals that digital distraction unfolds through a multilayered cycle beginning with digital stimuli, attention shifts, increased cognitive load, and reduced self-regulation, ultimately affecting academic performance. This review proposes the conceptual model of the Digital Distraction Cycle as a theoretical contribution explaining how digital distraction occurs among students and offers practical implications to support educators in designing learning strategies and self-regulation interventions that are more adaptive to digital-era challenges..

Abstract

The discourse on the essence of self and the cosmos represents a fundamental inquiry in intellectual history. In his allegorical masterpiece, Hayy ibn Yaqzhan, Ibn Tufail presents an autodidact’s epistemological journey toward truth achieved through rational inquiry, empirical investigation, and spiritual intuition—all ultimately converging with divine revelation. This comprehensive study examines the synergistic interconnection between philosophy (encompassing ontology, epistemology, and axiology), education, and Islam as manifested in the narrative, employing the framework of integrative epistemology that explores the intersections of aqidah, philosophy, and balaghah. Employing a qualitative descriptive-analytical methodology through extensive literature review, this research establishes philosophy as the foundational framework, education as the transformative mechanism, and Islam as the ultimate truth that shapes the comprehension of reality and human nature. The analysis demonstrates that the narrative transcends mere philosophical allegory; it offers a holistic educational paradigm particularly relevant for resolving the contemporary dichotomy between religious and scientific knowledge and addressing the spiritual crisis in modern education. The study concludes that Hayy’s journey offers a holistic paradigm crucial for resolving the contemporary science-religion dichotomy in modern education. Furthermore, this investigation explores the narrative’s dialectical tensions, its implications for curriculum design, and its significance in confronting secularization and knowledge fragmentation in contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values instilled by Ustadzah and the strategies used in shaping the students' character at Darussholihat Islamic Boarding School in Andong Boyolali, as well as to evaluate the results of implementing these strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the moral values instilled include honesty, discipline, piety (wara’), responsibility, love for Allah SWT, and acceptance of His decrees. The strategies applied by Ustadzah utilize behavioristic and social constructivist approaches. The behavioristic approach emphasizes reward and punishment, habituation of worship, shaping techniques, and self-reflection. Meanwhile, the social constructivist approach is manifested through peer mentoring, collaborative learning, and discussions on moral values. This strategy has proven effective in shaping students' character to be disciplined, self-aware, and in fostering a learning environment that supports moral development. The intensive role of the Ustadzah as a 24-hour mentor is key to the success of this strategy.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of Work Life Balance (WLB) for teachers and educational staff in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). The boarding system requires educators to be active around the clock, which often leads to stress, emotional exhaustion, and decreased teaching motivation. Findings indicate that implementing welfare-based management—such as work schedule rotation, proportional workload distribution, and social support from leaders—has a positive impact on teachers’ motivation and psychological well-being. Spiritual values such as sincerity (ikhlas) and reliance on God (tawakal) also strengthen their psychological resilience. Therefore, the application of WLB in pesantren should be grounded in humane policies and Islamic values to achieve harmony between work productivity, worship, and personal life. Pesantren can thus serve as a model of holistic human resource management that integrates both worldly and spiritual well-being.
