<![CDATA[This study was conducted with the aim of highlighting the importance of archive management and practices at PT Semen Padang. That the extent to which information, records and archives are the "blood" for the continuation of any organization or institution that is used as the basis for making every decision. Poor records management not only hinders the organizational development process but also leads to ineffectiveness and inefficiency in service delivery. Various types of archives, both personal and especially those that are official belonging to organizations or institutions, in this case especially PT Semen Padang, are very important to be traced, collected and preserved wherever they are in order to support the life of the PT Semen Padang organization. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection methods based on document studies, archives and observations. The documents and archives consist of published and unpublished sources, including institutional reports, actions and various conference materials, which the researcher uses for reference and writing materials. This type of research is descriptive-narrative research. The research results of PT Semen Padang, which has obtained archival accreditation A once again shows its commitment to archival affairs. The company as optimally as possible continuously strives to create an archival culture according to the dynamics of advancing society, nation and state in accordance with future needs. The success of PT Semen Padang in obtaining A accreditation also cannot be separated from archive management practices that are carried out effectively, the required records are available at the right time to support business activities.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the difficulty of the community in finding information on Nagari regulations because they are not widely disseminated. The purpose of this study was to design and produce an Index of Nagari Regulations in Sutera Subdistric, Pesisir Selatan Regency, 2010-2021 to facilitate users in tracing and obtaining information about valid, effective, and practical Nagari regulations. The method used in this research is the development method. The stages of the development method are need analysis, design stage, development stage, and product testing (evluation). The result of this study resulted in a product in the form of a Nagari Regulations Index book in Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, 2010-2021, which showed that the product had met the valid, practical, and effective criteria. This product is said to be valid, indicated by a value of A. This product is said to be practical based on the percentase of respondents, 90% strongly agrees and 10% agrees with large group trials. This product is said to be effective based on the assessment of the percentase of respondents 80% strongly agree and 20% agree with large group trials.]]>

Improving student information literacy is needed to help search and use information effectively and efficiently. Students' abilities related to information literacy will make it easier to write scientific papers and work on college assignments. The Reference Librarian has the role of helping users to find the information they need effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the role of reference librarians in improving Information Literacy for students. The method used in writing this article is a descriptive research method through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and literature study. <![CDATA[This article is entitled “The Role of Librarians in Learning Information Literacy for UIN Imam Bonjol Padang Students” The background in article writing is based on the current situation where university libraries rarely teach information literacy to students. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of librarians in learning information literacy for UIN Imam Bonjol Padang students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The data used are primary data and secondary data, with interview and observation data collection methods. The informants selected in this study were four people consisting of three students and one librarian. The selection of informants in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used using Miles & Huberman's data analysis model. Applying the aspects of Wheeler and Pamela McKinney about the role of librarians, the results of this study indicate that librarians have a role as learning support, librarian who teaches, or information literacy trainer.]]>

<![CDATA[Information repackaging provides a change in the search for data and collections in a library even in the new normal era as it is today, so there are new challenges and strategies in repackaging information. new normal at the PGRI Silampari University Library, Lubuk Linggau, which must follow the demands of libraries that display and play the role of information dissemination services, cultural preservation, and carrying out activities that are beneficial to the social and intellectual life of the users. Information repackaging is a response to technological advances and the information explosion. This study uses a purposive sampling technique to determine the informants in this study. Purposive sampling technique is how to determine informants by selecting informants according to the criteria and needs of the authors in this study. The chosen librarian at Pgri Silampari University is a librarian who has completed a master's degree in library at Sunan Kali Jaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta. Information repackaging activities are carried out as well as possible, it will be able to provide an economic impact and selling value for the library. When packing information, the librarian must pay attention to the language used, which must be simple, not too scientific, easy to understand, written concisely, clearly means, and presents an attractive packaging.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the absence of an information search tool regarding the myth of the prohibition of pregnant women in Sutera District. This study aims to design and produce an Annotated Index of Myths on the Prohibition of Pregnant Women in Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency to facilitate users in searching for valid, effective, and practical information on myths about the prohibition of pregnant women in Sutera District. The method used in this research is the development method. The stages of the development method are needs analysis, design stage, development stage, and product testing (evaluation). The results of the effectiveness trials carried out in large groups got a value of 70% of respondents stating strongly agree and 30% of respondents agreeing and practical which was obtained in large group trials with a value of 60% of respondents stating strongly agree and 40% of respondents agreeing, this product has valid evidenced by the value of A 80%, it can be concluded that the annotated index product of the Myth of the Prohibition of Pregnant Women in Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency is feasible to use.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this article is to explain the activities of information preservation, digital media transfer, and digital reproduction transformation. Preservation of library material information is different from physical preservation of library materials. This article is more about preserving the information. Digitization is one of the efforts to preserve information on library materials. Media transfer of library materials is included in the activity of preserving the information content. Transferring media means processing from printed form to digital form. Librarians must always improve their competence in carrying out media transfer activities, repackaging information, and preserving information on library materials. The library materials that are transferred to the media are prioritized which are classified as rare or unique. It is necessary to preserve information on library materials to protect the contents of the information so that it is not destroyed, can still be accessed, and to increase access by users. Digital preservation must also be done to preserve digital content information so that it can last a long time. Reproduction of digital library materials is printed in the form of images or photos, written in the form of script sheets, and recorded in the form of film negatives.]]>

The test results of this product are declared valid Evidenced by the value of A from the Expert validator, the effectiveness of which is carried out on Large groups get a score of 80% of respondents stated "strongly agree", 20% of respondents stated "agree" and practical obtained in the trial Large groups get a score of 78% of respondents stated "strongly agree", 22% of respondents stated "agree". <![CDATA[The development of information technology brings major changes in human life. This big change cannot be separated from the leap in television, internet, and mobile phone usage in a fairly short period of time. This has a logical consequence on the level of human consumption of information technology. The flexibility of information technology also allows anyone to produce information and disseminate it, resulting in a lot of information circulating in various forms and formats. One of the digital information production practices today is information repackaging. Several scientific journals have written about the good practice of repackaging information in one of the information institutions, namely the library. Various purposes of repackaging are presented, which in essence is the accessibility and dissemination of information itself. Repacking information means making information packaging from existing information. In order to meet the information needs that are still relevant to today's phenomena. The repackaging of information with these various purposes signifies the existence of a new culture in the concept of information in this digital era. Seeing the existence of a culture of disseminating information with the information repackaging method, this article analyzes the practice of repackaging information in the perspective of digital information culture from Treddinick (2008). Trddinick (2008) first looks at text values in the early development of texts associated with textual works where this helps stabilize their referential values, and then examines how digital technology changes that stability, and Treddinick (2008) looks at how originality, knowledge and the power of text in the digital age]]>
