Abstract

The diminishing revenue from agricultural sector in Ngadiharjo village (which has act as the leading sector) led the actor of one micro-library to seek for new opportunities. Harnessing the ample of bamboo as local potential and to test the ideas of making a worth-selling product, she promotes local society to produce besek – a multi-used box made from bamboo. The growth demands from regional and national market force the actor to set a knowledge-hub which has been transformed as a micro-library. With the assisted from Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Housing; the micro-library develops a framework to contribute to the expand of society knowledge. This study aims to examine the works of micro-library and local resources in a small village in Indonesia towards the community resilience to deal with the economic needs. This study has been designed to answer these questions: How the actor of micro-library in Ngadiharjo village linked to the social learning process for society outcomes? What the contributions of local resources to achieve society outcomes? How the community resilience in Ngadiharjo village formed through the existence of micro-library as the knowledge hub? The social learning process as the SDGs based public participation framework’s outcomes and the existence of literacy ecosystem from the Literasi Untuk Kesejahteraan concept by Indonesian National Library will be use as the anchor to approach the micro-library role for community resilience in this area. The linkage of the micro-library actor, society capital and the implementation of knowledge sharing through micro-library programs; aim to present the finding of joining the society dots. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach applies for this study. Data collecting use observations, interviews and documentation process. Data analyse through data reduction and finding presentation. The study area is in Ngadiharjo village, Magelang, Indonesia, with a population of 4.939 Citizens To explore the data; a micro-library actor named Endah who managed TBM Omah Eling (a micro-library Omah Eling). This micro-library provides these programs for society: Money Literacy, Book For Free, Besek making training etc. By drawing the case in Ngadiharjo village, this study will present the importance of micro- library existence as knowledge-hub which potentially support local resources for being more productive and empowered. The local resources include the people (micro-library actor and local society) and the natural resources as the main materials to create products (by this case is bamboo to produce the multi-use box).

Abstract

The development of information technology brings major changes in human life. This big change cannot be separated from the leap in television, internet, and mobile phone usage in a fairly short period of time. This has a logical consequence on the level of human consumption of information technology. The flexibility of information technology also allows anyone to produce information and disseminate it, resulting in a lot of information circulating in various forms and formats. One of the digital information production practices today is information repackaging. Several scientific journals have written about the good practice of repackaging information in one of the information institutions, namely the library. Various purposes of repackaging are presented, which in essence is the accessibility and dissemination of information itself. Repacking information means making information packaging from existing information. In order to meet the information needs that are still relevant to today's phenomena. The repackaging of information with these various purposes signifies the existence of a new culture in the concept of information in this digital era. Seeing the existence of a culture of disseminating information with the information repackaging method, this article analyzes the practice of repackaging information in the perspective of digital information culture from Treddinick (2008). Trddinick (2008) first looks at text values in the early development of texts associated with textual works where this helps stabilize their referential values, and then examines how digital technology changes that stability, and Treddinick (2008) looks at how originality, knowledge and the power of text in the digital age

Abstract

Linear programming is a mathematical approach used to increase the revenue of a grocery store through the analysis of the most optimal combination of products. This study aims to identify the main constraints faced by grocery stores, such as limited capital, storage capacity, and consumer demand. Furthermore, an optimization model based on linear programming was developed to overcome these constraints. This research applies Simplex and Branch and Bound method to find the best solution. The results showed that the application of linear programming model is able to help stores determine the number of products that need to be sold efficiently to maximize revenue. This optimization process also allows for more optimal utilization of existing resources, thus supporting more effective and data-driven decision making. This study provides an important contribution in the management of grocery stores, especially in improving operational efficiency and revenue, and can be a reference for other small business actors.

Abstract

The phenomenon of a single candidate and the absence of a blank vote option in the 2024 Banjarbaru local election has raised serious concerns about the quality of local democracy in Indonesia. Although legally valid, the limited political choice reflects a degradation of democratic substance and threatens public trust. This study aims to analyze the legal and political dynamics surrounding the case and to evaluate the legal mechanisms in place to safeguard the quality of democracy. This research uses a normative legal method with a case study approach, supported by qualitative analysis of legislation and Constitutional Court decisions. The findings indicate that elections without genuine alternatives violate the principles of participation and contestation as proposed in Robert A. Dahl's theory of polyarchy and contradict the values of public interest as outlined in Jasser Auda’s concept of maqasid shariah. Although the Constitutional Court ordered a re-vote, the legitimacy of the election process had already been undermined. In conclusion, lawful procedures alone are insufficient to ensure a fair democracy if they are not implemented inclusively and participatively. A thorough evaluation of regulations and institutional integrity is necessary to ensure that democracy is not merely procedural, but also substantive.
