Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Sales Promotion and Personal Branding, partially or simultaneously on the decision to purchase a Venrose WO wedding package. This study uses quantitative methods using a sample of 100 respondents. Primary data and secondary data are used as data sources in this study. This study uses the SPSS tool for multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Sales Promotion partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, Personal Branding partially had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and Sales Promotion and Personal Branding simultaneously had a very significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the behavior of mountaineer during the new normal of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although during the pandemic, mountaineering is still a favorite tourist outdoor activity to avoid crowds. The mountain attraction operator also claims to have implemented strict health protocols. However, only a few or none of studies discussing the mountaineer’s behavior during new normal. This study uses a qualitative method by conducting semi-structured interviews from 16 mountaineers in June-July 2021. The data were processed through several stages, namely reducing data, improving the appearance, one-stage coding and conducting content analysis. As the result, mountaineers tend to ignore health protocols, especially removing masks and rarely washing their hands during moountaineering. However, mountaineers mostly able to keep their distance and still pay attention to the environmental sustainability. In addition, mountaineers appreciate the operator which have implemented the CHSE procedures (cleanliness, health, safety and environmental sustainability) especially at the starting point of the mountaineering.

Abstract

Sports tourism in this era has become a new paradigm and has received a lot of attention from stakeholders, such as the central and local governments, the private sector, academics to the community. Sports tourism has become a tourist trip to be able to play a role in sports activities (participants and committees), such as recreation, competiting and visit the sports venues, such as football stadiums. Jakarta Marathon or JakMar is an annual event held by PT. Inspiro MICE Promoter. In 2013, PT. Inspiro Promoter MICE was held the National and International Jakarta Marathon for the first time. The theory used in this research is the theory of service quality which consists of 3 aspects, such as Physical Environment Quality, Interaction Quality, and Outcome Quality by means of analysis based on descriptive statistics, IPA (Important Performance Analysis) analysis techniques, and multiple linear regression analysis. Results Based on the calculation of the gap between the perceptions and expectations of respondents, it was found that marathon participants were not satisfied with the service quality of organizing sporting events. Based on the results of the IPA in quadrant A (Main Priority which means Dissatisfied and Very Important) there are 2 indicators that must be the main priority for the implementation in improving services, while based on the coefficient test of Physical Environment Quality, Interaction Quality, and Outcome Quality, it affects the satisfaction achieved. given to marathon participants by 75.7% while the remaining 24.3% was influenced by other factors not observed in this study.

Abstract

Business competition in the travel industry is increasingly sharp and fierce. The role of conventional travel agents began to be replaced by online travel agents through various products supported by an application. But not all travel company products are controlled by online travel agents, likes tour package products. The purpose of this research is to produce a tour package product development strategy that can be used by PT. Viva Wisata Indonesia, as well as conventional travel agents in general, in the face of competition problems, especially facing online travel agents. Not all products in the travel industry can be serviced according to the technology sistem, such as tour package products, there are many factors that cause these products to require touch and communication between humans. Tour package products which consist of various components of tour packages, in the preparation and planning require continuous communication to get the necessary details so that the packages produced are in accordance with the needs of consumers. The suggestions that can be given from this research are related to strategies in developing tourism package products in order to remain competitive in the future, such as market expansion so that the products produced are more varied, making product variations between ready packages and tailor-made, and the formation of creative teams related to the preparation of tour packages that are in accordance with the current trends.

Abstract

Hybrid Exhibition atau Pameran yang dilaksanakan Hibrida secara luring dan daring menjadi trend dan berkembang pesat saat Pandemi Covid-19 terjadi terutama pada tahun 2021. Pembatasan bahkan pelarangan berbagai kegiatan perhelatan termasuk kegiatan pameran mendorong berbagai cara termasuk munculnya inovasi teknologi yang mendukung pameran hibrida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pandangan pelaku industri MICE terhadap pengembangan hybrid exhibition saat ini dan masa depan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dari data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan diskusi kelompok menggunakan teknik delphi. Narasumber yang diwawancarai pada penelitian ini adalah tiga pemimpin perusahaan MICE dan satu praktisi penyedia jasa hybrid sedangkan peserta diskusi adalah 5 pimpinan dan dua narasumber ahli dari akademisi. Pengkodean tematik dengan melakukan analisis pengkodean satu siklus menemukan bahwa inovasi teknologi yang sudah dikembangkan belum siap dijalankan ketika masa kenormalan baru terjadi dan pulih nanti. Pelaku Industri melihat penggunaan inovasi teknologi pameran hibrida hanya salah satu pendukung yang memberikan nilai tambah khususnya untuk pasar B2B, namun belum bisa diandalkan menjadi kunci utama suksesnya pameran. Inovasi teknologi yang ada belum mampu menggantikan pengalaman sesungguhnya bahkan bisa jadi tidak akan pernah bisa mengganti suasana pameran secara luring di masa depan.

Abstract

The Ngargoretno Tourism Village has experience an increase in tourism activities in recent times along with the increase in attractions and the number of visitors, especially after the pandemic. To be able to provide an experience that is accordance with the tourism concept of the Ngargoretno Tourism Village which launched educational tourism, it is considered necessary to provide a choice of various forms of travel patterns that are formed according to the character of the tourist village destination of Ngargoretno and the character of visiting tourist. The theory used in making the travel pattern of this research is Lew and McKercher (2016). The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The analytical technique used in making the travel pattern uses four approaches, namely, the process of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The four analytical techniques were carried out to analyze the data obtained from the results of this research and get conclusions about the research carried out. The data collection tool used is an interview guide. This research was conducted as an effort so that the research results can be used as a basis for reference for the tourism stakeholders of Ngargoretno Village and the government of Magelang Regency to be able to design tourism activity development programs, and it is hoped that this research will become a recommendation for relevant stakeholders who will develop and promote Ngargoretno as a Tourism Village that acts as a buffer for orobudur as a Super Priority Tourist Destiantion Area.

Abstract

The research is to study the domestic tourists’ considerations and perceived risks and how they allay the disharmony that occurs between the desire to travel and to stay at home because of the pandemic situation, to their decision making in traveling to Bali. Data were collected through questionnaires to 96 domestic Bali tourists and interview with 5 individuals from them to gain deeper insights on the travel decision-making process between January-February 2022, a point where the COVID-19 case in Indonesia rose once again after its stagnant low case report in the third quarter of 2021. Regression analysis was performed and suggest that there is an impact between the perceived risk on purchase decision-making. In addition, results revealed that for the most part, these domestic tourists tend to set aside their worries about COVID-19 and other safety concerns so that their choice to visit Bali can be more prominent, essentially because of feeling weary with the pandemic situation which makes them feeling the urgency to escape from the “routine”.

Abstract

Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon merupakan salah satu daerah di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang khususnya wisata heritage sudah seharusnya Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon memiliki perencanaan pola perjalanan wisata heritage . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi profil wisatawan, atraksi wisata, fasilitas wisata, serta waktu yang dibutuhkan didalam melakukan sebuah perjalanan wisata di Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon, sehingga dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi berupa perencanaan sebuah pola perjalanan wisata heritage, yang dapat berguna bagi Pemerintah daerah serta masyarakat yang ada di wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan, disertai dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa Daftar Periksa (checklist), Kuesioner, dan Pedoman Wawancara. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling disertai dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu cluster sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi profil wisatawan yang ada di Cirebon adalah berusia 30-38 tahun, dimana mayoritas diantara mereka berminat untuk berkunjung kembali ke Cirebon dan kebanyakan diantara mereka merupakan wisatawan FIT (free individual traveller) yang mengatur perjalanan mereka sendiri. Untuk kondisi atraksi wisata heritage, Cirebon memiliki beragam atraksi wisata yang sangat menarik untuk dikunjungi oleh wisatawan. Sementara itu, untuk kondisi fasilitas sarana dan prasarana wisata, hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa industri pariwisata di Cirebon telah berkembang dengan pesat, sehingga hal ini dapat memudahkan wisatawan Ketika melakukan perjalanan wisata menuju dan selama berada di wilayah ini. Untuk kondisi waktu tempuh yang diperlukan oleh wisatawan selama melakukan perjalanan wisata, dinilai sudah cukup baik, dimana jarak lokasi antar atraksi wisata yang berdekatan menjadi salah satu kuncinya. Tim peneliti membuat rekomendasi sebuah pola perjalanan wisata heritage di Cirebon, yang dapat dijadikan acuan didalam pembuatan paket wisata heritage serta diharapkan dapat berguna bagi Pemerintah Daerah, pelaku pariwisata beserta seluruh masyararakat Kota dan Kabupaten Cirebon.

Abstract

Music concerts that are managed in a sustainable manner have significant value and can provide many benefits to the community and the destination where the concert takes place if the positive impact is cultivated. To achieve this great potential, continuous music concert event management must be widely adopted and expanded as a common practice. The establishment of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) as a multi-event and multi-function infrastructure has the potential to develop music tourism through concerts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with secondary data sources in the form of literature studies and online publications. The aim of this study is to identify the potential of JIS as a music concert infrastructure, the roles and responsibilities of management for the sustainability of events at JIS, to describe sustainable concert management strategies that can be implemented at JIS. The output of this research generates insight and knowledge about the management of sustainable music concert events at JIS which can be used as a tourist attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. This study indicate that JIS is an event infrastructure that is ready to be used both in terms of facilities and management to develop music tourism through music concerts at JIS. Strategy of sustainable event management proposed in this study is specifically designed to be implemented based on the main roles and responsibilities of sustainable music concert management at JIS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze exhibition management in a case study of the Baby & Kids Expo 2020 exhibition activities based on collaborative governance. Trade is the second largest sector contributing to economic development in Indonesia. Exhibition or exhibition is one of the events used to increase a company's income through buying and selling transactions in the trade sector. Currently, the market size for baby equipment in Indonesia reaches Rp. 10.4 trillion, the Baby & Kids Expo exhibition is here to take advantage of this momentum. Of course the implementation of the Baby & Kids Expo exhibition was carried out not only because of the government's intervention in it but because of the support of various stakeholders. This stakeholder collaboration is then known as collaborative governance. This research seeks to see the role and collaboration that exists between various stakeholders in the management of the Baby & Kids Expo exhibition event based on collaborative governance.
