Abstract

The essence of all life is water. Without water, nothing on our planet can grow. Traditional water resources, which were once the lifeblood of the Himalayan population, are disappearing alarmingly in Himalayan areas of Uttarakhand. In these steep regions of Uttarakhand, life cannot advance in the correct path without these natural water sources. Traditional water resources provided for many kinds of daily requirements, including drinking, cooking, cleaning, irrigation, and caring for animals. Water is becoming more scarce everywhere in the world, even in the Himalayan region. In an effort to prevent future generations from facing a shortage of potable water, efforts should be made to protect these ancient natural water sources.

Abstract

Through a quantitative analysis employing structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS), this study examines the complex links between social media use, exercise habits, social support, and mental health among 210 college students in Indonesia. To investigate how these variables interact, descriptive statistics, measurement model evaluation, and structural model analysis were performed. The results highlighted the influence of online interactions on psychological well-being by showing a strong positive correlation between social media use and mental health. Although there was a positive correlation between exercise habits and mental health, it was not statistically significant, suggesting that more research is necessary. Social support has been shown to be a strong indicator of mental health, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal relationships. Validity and reliability of the model were indicated by its fit indices, and path analysis highlighted the importance of these components in influencing mental health outcomes. The results have consequences for programs and laws meant to promote mental wellness among college students.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of education programs, unemployment rates, and income gaps on social mobility in Jakarta through a quantitative analysis employing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) and regression analysis. The study utilizes a sample of 150 respondents, providing a diverse representation of Jakarta's population across age groups, educational backgrounds, employment statuses, socio-economic strata, and geographical locations. The measurement model demonstrates strong reliability and validity, affirming the robustness of the chosen constructs. The structural model reveals a significant positive relationship between education programs and social mobility, indicating that improved access and quality of education positively influence upward mobility. Additionally, income gaps exhibit a negative association with social mobility, emphasizing the adverse impact of income inequality. Surprisingly, unemployment rates do not emerge as a significant predictor of social mobility within the model. The regression analysis further explores these relationships, providing nuanced insights. The study concludes with policy implications, highlighting the need for targeted interventions in education and income equality to foster social mobility in Jakarta. The findings also call for a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics influencing employment and social mobility in the region.

Dunda Limboto Hospital. This research makes use of a quantitative methodology in its methodology. Techniques for collecting data through the use of questionnaires. Then, the method of sampling that is utilized is a combination of basic random sampling techniques and probability sampling. The descriptive data that was obtained is then subjected to multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 29. This is done after the data that was acquired has been collected. The findings of this study indicate that Reward has a positive and significant impact on the performance of administrative employees. This is evident from the fact that the t count (3.258) is higher than the t table (2.037) with a significant level of 0.03 (less than 0.05). Punishment also has a positive and significant impact on the performance of administrative employees, as evidenced by the value of the t count (3.530) with a significant level of 0.01 (less than 0.05). Furthermore, there is a simultaneous influence between Reward and Punishment on the performance of administrative employees. This is demonstrated by the fact that the F count (15.258) is higher than the F table (3.28) with a significant level of 0.01 (less than 0.05) and the R Square value obtained by 0.488. According to the chart, the effect of performance on reward and punishment accounts for 48.8 percent of the total, while the other elements are influenced by factors that are not described in this study.
