Abstract

This study examines the global progression of blended finance as a mechanism for financing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) via bibliometric and content analysis of publications from 2010 to 2025. The research employs Scopus-indexed data and analytical tools, including VOSviewer and Biblioshiny, to delineate publication trends, topic clusters, and collaborative networks across many fields and locations. The findings identify three primary study clusters: (1) the mobilization of private capital via concessional mechanisms, (2) governance, transparency, and additionality in development finance, and (3) sectoral applications in climate, infrastructure, and MSME development. The United Kingdom, Malaysia, and the United States excel in academic production and inter-institutional cooperation, although rising economies like Indonesia and India are enhancing their research prominence. Notwithstanding conceptual advancement, the study reveals enduring deficiencies in empirical validation and fair implementation in least developed countries (LDCs). The work advances theory by framing blended finance as a hybrid mechanism that amalgamates public-private governance with sustainable investment principles. It underscores the necessity for transparency, impact assessment, and inclusive design to guarantee catalytic and equitable results.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of green skills training and inter-sector collaboration on workforce competency, with digital adaptation acting as a mediating variable within the Central Java industrial area. Using a quantitative design, data were obtained from 150 employees across manufacturing, food processing, textile, and electronics sectors, and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that both green skills training and inter-sector collaboration have significant positive effects on workforce competency, directly and indirectly through digital adaptation. Green skills training improves employees’ technical and environmental literacy, while collaboration among government, industry, and academia enhances knowledge sharing and capacity building. Digital adaptation functions as a pivotal intermediary that strengthens the impact of sustainability-oriented learning and collaboration on competency outcomes. The model demonstrates high explanatory power (R² = 0.69) and predictive relevance (Q² = 0.42). These results emphasize that integrating environmental and digital competencies is vital to shaping a future-ready workforce capable of supporting sustainable industrial transformation. The study advances Human Capital Theory and Dynamic Capability Theory by evidencing that workforce competency evolves through continuous green training, collaborative innovation, and adaptive digitalization. It further suggests that Indonesian policymakers and industry leaders should promote cross-sector programs that align green upskilling with digital readiness to enhance industrial competitiveness in the era of Industry 4.0 and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study investigates how social accountability and community support influence local human resources’ perceptions of sustainability in Indonesia’s palm oil industry. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 120 respondents representing employees, supervisors, and community liaisons in major palm oil-producing regions. All constructs were measured using a five-point Likert scale, and data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) to test the proposed relationships. The results show that both social accountability (β = 0.46; p < 0.001) and community support (β = 0.39; p < 0.001) significantly enhance sustainability perception, explaining 64% (R² = 0.64) of the variance. Social accountability strengthens perceptions through transparency, ethical disclosure, and responsiveness, while community support reinforces trust, participation, and local cooperation. The findings highlight that sustainable development in the palm oil sector relies not only on environmental compliance but also on social governance and collective responsibility. The study contributes to theory by integrating Stakeholder Theory and the Theory of Planned Behavior, providing empirical evidence that sustainability perception is shaped by institutional accountability and social interaction within local communities.
