Abstract

This study investigates the influence of digital empathy, online identity formation, fear of missing out (FoMO), and social media fatigue on the mental health of adolescents in West Java, Indonesia. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 175 adolescent respondents through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3.0). The results reveal that digital empathy and online identity formation have a positive and significant effect on adolescents’ mental health, indicating that empathetic online behavior and authentic self-expression contribute to psychological well-being. Conversely, FoMO and social media fatigue demonstrate negative and significant effects, suggesting that excessive social comparison and emotional exhaustion reduce mental wellness. Moreover, social media fatigue mediates the relationship between FoMO and mental health, showing that digital overload acts as a psychological strain linking fear of exclusion to reduced well-being. The model explains 57% of the variance in mental health, indicating strong predictive power. These findings highlight the importance of cultivating digital empathy, promoting balanced online identity management, and implementing interventions to minimize FoMO and fatigue among youth. The study contributes to both theoretical understanding and practical strategies for enhancing adolescent digital well-being in the context of rapid social media engagement.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of cultural commodification, digital tourism, and virtual exoticism on public perceptions of cultural tourism in East Java. Using a quantitative research design, data were obtained from 115 respondents through a structured questionnaire utilizing a five-point Likert scale. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, including validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that all three independent variables—cultural commodification, digital tourism, and virtual exoticism—have a positive and significant influence on public perception. Among them, digital tourism has the strongest impact, indicating the vital role of digital media in shaping audience engagement and cultural understanding. The results also show that these three variables collectively explain 69.7% of the variation in public perception of cultural tourism. This demonstrates that digital representations and market-driven adaptations increasingly mediate modern cultural tourism. The study highlights the importance of balancing cultural authenticity and digital innovation to foster sustainable tourism development in East Java. It provides both theoretical insights and practical guidance for policymakers, cultural managers, and local communities in preserving cultural identity while leveraging digital opportunities.

Abstract

This research delves into the complex interplay between popular culture and the values and beliefs of Indonesian teenagers, offering insights into the multifaceted influence of media consumption. In an age marked by the ubiquity of globalized media, Indonesian adolescents are navigating a landscape where traditional cultural norms intersect with the allure of popular culture from around the world. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study combines surveys, interviews, and content analysis to investigate how various forms of popular culture, including television, social media, music, and film, impact the attitudes, values, and beliefs of Indonesian teenagers. The research also explores themes, messages, and the negotiation of these influences within the context of cultural identity. Findings reveal that popular culture undeniably shapes the perceptions and beliefs of Indonesian youth, but it also reflects their agency in adapting and reaffirming their cultural identity amidst the dynamic forces of globalization.

Dunda Limboto Hospital. This research makes use of a quantitative methodology in its methodology. Techniques for collecting data through the use of questionnaires. Then, the method of sampling that is utilized is a combination of basic random sampling techniques and probability sampling. The descriptive data that was obtained is then subjected to multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 29. This is done after the data that was acquired has been collected. The findings of this study indicate that Reward has a positive and significant impact on the performance of administrative employees. This is evident from the fact that the t count (3.258) is higher than the t table (2.037) with a significant level of 0.03 (less than 0.05). Punishment also has a positive and significant impact on the performance of administrative employees, as evidenced by the value of the t count (3.530) with a significant level of 0.01 (less than 0.05). Furthermore, there is a simultaneous influence between Reward and Punishment on the performance of administrative employees. This is demonstrated by the fact that the F count (15.258) is higher than the F table (3.28) with a significant level of 0.01 (less than 0.05) and the R Square value obtained by 0.488. According to the chart, the effect of performance on reward and punishment accounts for 48.8 percent of the total, while the other elements are influenced by factors that are not described in this study.

Even though the private sector faces many challenges about human resources, there is still a dearth of literature on HR management methods in the private sector and private enterprise. The purpose of this research is to review the literature on private sector leadership style practices and how they affect other constructs. The Google Scholar database was chosen, and the publish or perish program was utilized to gather literature data. "Leadership style on private sector" is the keyword that is employed. 200 publications from 2018 to 2023 were found in the first search. After that, 43 references were found after the 200 literatures were chosen, Data on the most cited articles, prestigious journals, and top publishers were gathered using the Mendeley reference system and the Publish or Perish program. In addition, the VOS Viewer was used to process the 43 references to provide cluster data, which included the objects that were present in each cluster. There were also illustrations of author networks connected to keywords, overlay visualizations, and density visualizations. An overview of leadership style research is given by this study, with a focus on the commercial sector.

Abstract

Poverty is a major issue faced by many local governments, including Gianyar District. To empower people experiencing poverty, the Gianyar district government has implemented multiple policies, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. These policies provide business loans for those affected by poverty, aiming to help them get back on their feet. This study focuses on analyzing the business credit policies for people experiencing poverty in Gianyar Regency, using qualitative methods of a descriptive approach. One of the significant findings of this study is that the current policy alternative (status quo) is still relevant for the distribution of people's business credit. This is because its technical feasibility criteria meets the desired outcomes as stated in the regional regulations. However, the policy may not be effective in the long run as it depends on provincial revenues. Therefore, it is recommended to have policy synergy with national banks and Village-Owned Enterprises to provide credit to people experiencing poverty with low interest.
