Abstract

The falsification of population administration documents is a form of crime that has serious implications for state administrative order and legal protection of society. This phenomenon can be analyzed through the strain criminology theory, which emphasizes social, economic, and structural pressures that drive individuals to commit deviant acts. This study aims to analyze the motives and driving factors of perpetrators of falsification of population administration documents using the perspective of strain theory, and to examine its relevance within the framework of Indonesian positive law, particularly Law Number 23 of 2006 on Population Administration. The research method used is normative juridical, by examining statutory regulations, criminological literature, and legal doctrines. The analysis shows that falsification of population documents is generally driven by economic pressure, limited access to administrative services, and certain social needs that cannot be fulfilled legally. From the strain perspective, these conditions generate tension that drives perpetrators to seek shortcuts through falsification. Meanwhile, Law Number 23 of 2006 explicitly regulates prohibitions and criminal sanctions against the falsification of population documents, although its enforcement still faces obstacles in prevention and law enforcement. Therefore, synergy between criminological and juridical approaches is needed to address this crime, namely by strengthening population administrative services, increasing legal awareness among society, and implementing both penal and non-penal policies in a balanced manner.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the influence of communication integrity on the loyalty of the residents of UPTD Lanjut Usia Binjai, with trust acting as the mediator. The study employed the quantitative method under Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The outer model test results indicate that all the indicators are valid and reliable. The inner model test result shows that communication integrity significantly affects trust and loyalty, while trust significantly affects loyalty. The test results on mediation show that trust partially mediates communication integrity's influence on loyalty. The R-squared measure of 0.750 for loyalty and 0.817 for trust indicates the good explanatory capability of the model. The significance of this study is the realization that there is the need to strengthen communication integrity to boost trust and loyalty among the elderly residents. The implication of these findings underscores the necessity for the UPTD management to proactively build and maintain communication integrity in every interaction, in order to foster trust which ultimately forms a solid foundation for sustainable loyalty among the elderly residents.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the Self Assessment System and tax sanctions on Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue at Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Pratama Binjai. This research is based on the importance of increasing taxpayer compliance in the Indonesian taxation system, which adopts a Self Assessment System, a system in which taxpayers are trusted to calculate, pay, and report their own tax obligations. This research is quantitative in nature with a descriptive and verificative approach. The population in this study was all taxpayers registered at Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Pratama Binjai, with a sample size of 136 respondents determined using total sampling technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The partial test results show that the Self Assessment System has a positive and significant effect on VAT revenue with a t-value of 2.778 and a significance of 0.006 < 0.05. This indicates that the better the implementation of the Self Assessment system, the higher the VAT revenue due to increased taxpayer awareness and compliance. Meanwhile, the tax penalty variable also has a positive and significant effect on VAT revenue with a t-value of 8.554 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The implementation of strict penalties encourages taxpayers to be more disciplined in fulfilling their tax obligations. Both variables contribute 37.7% to the increase in VAT revenue.

Abstract

Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (UGRA) is a critical technique in anesthesiology, but its adoption is limited by the need for expert skill. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers a solution by enhancing the precision, safety, and accessibility of UGRA. This narrative review explores the current evidence supporting AI in UGRA, focusing on ultrasound image acquisition, interpretation, real-time decision-making, and training. Methods, A comprehensive literature search using PubMed Central, PubMed, and Google Scholar identified relevant studies on AI-assisted UGRA published between December 2020 and August 2024. From 62 initial searches, 5 studies met the inclusion criteria, detailing clinical trials and research on AI in UGRA. Results, AI technologies have demonstrated significant promise in improving ultrasound image quality, enhancing anatomical landmark identification, and reducing complication risks. AI has also proven beneficial in real-time decision-making, assisting both novice and expert anesthesiologists. Additionally, AI-enhanced training systems have shown potential in reducing complication rates and improving learning outcomes. An automated spinal landmark identification program also showed effectiveness in neuraxial anesthesia, particularly for obese patients. Conclusion, AI integration into UGRA could revolutionize anesthetic practice, making the technique more accessible and safer, especially in regions with limited expert availability. Future research should focus on validating AI as a tool for skill acquisition and refining its application in clinical practice.

Abstract

Narcotics crimes are a form of crime that has a serious impact on individuals, society, and even the sustainability of the state. The problem of narcotics is not only seen as a criminal act, but also as a health, social, and humanitarian problem. Therefore, the countermeasures require a comprehensive legal approach, both rehabilitative and repressive. The rehabilitative approach emphasizes recovery efforts for narcotics abusers as victims, so that they can return to function socially in society. Meanwhile, the repressive approach is focused on strict law enforcement against perpetrators of illicit narcotics trafficking that undermine the legal order and national security. From a legal perspective, the regulation of narcotics in Indonesia is regulated in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, which contains these two dimensions. Based on this, this study formulates two main problems: (1) how the criminal law regulation of narcotics crimes is reviewed from a rehabilitative and repressive approach from a legal perspective, and (2) how the urgency of the application of the law to narcotics crimes is reviewed from these two approaches. This research aims to find out and comprehensively analyze the effectiveness of narcotics criminal law regulation by emphasizing the balance between legal certainty, utility, and justice. Thus, the legal urgency in dealing with narcotics crimes lies in the need for a proper, humane, and effective criminal policy. This dual approach is expected to create a legal system that not only reduces the number of narcotics crimes, but also provides long-term solutions through victim recovery and community protection.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of thaharah in social ethics among generation Z by using an ex post facto survey model to measure social ethics scoring in the generation Z group who have high and low thaharah, developing an instrument for thaharah and social ethics for generation Z. Researchers found that generation Z who have high thaharah have high social ethics scores compared to generation Z who have low thaharah. The research conclusion is that cleanliness has a significant influence on social ethics among generation Z. Thaharah is not only clean physically, bodily and biologically, but also influences the soul, psychology and socio-cultural aspects of the social system.

Abstract

Industri perkebunan kelapa sawit di Indonesia memainkan peran vital dalam perekonomian nasional, menyumbang sekitar 3-4% dari PDB dan mempekakan jutaan tenaga kerja. Namun, sektor ini menghadapi tantangan serius terkait tingginya tingkat turnover intention karyawan, khususnya di tingkat supervisor, yang dapat mengganggu produktivitas dan efisiensi operasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap turnover intention karyawan, dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening, pada PT. Suryamas Cipta Perkasa I di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 116 karyawan supervisor. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS versi 3.3.3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital, khususnya melalui platform e-commerce berbasis live streaming seperti TikTok Shop, telah mengubah perilaku konsumen secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh live streaming dan diskon harga terhadap keputusan pembelian karyawan dalam konteks belanja online, dengan niat membeli sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh live streaming dan diskon harga terhadap keputusan pembelian karyawan dalam belanja online, dengan niat membeli sebagai variabel mediasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS), hasilnya mengungkapkan bahwa live streaming secara signifikan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian (p = 0,009) dan niat membeli (p = 0,001), sementara diskon harga juga memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (p = 0,000) dan niat membeli (p = 0,000). Namun, niat membeli tidak secara signifikan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian (p = 0,203), yang menunjukkan peran mediasinya tidak didukung. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keputusan pembelian karyawan lebih langsung dibentuk oleh diskon harga dan aktivitas live streaming daripada oleh niat membeli saja, yang menekankan pentingnya strategi pemasaran langsung dan diskon dalam meningkatkan perilaku pembelian online di antara karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat H. Adam Malik Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 100 responden yang diperoleh melalui teknik probability sampling dengan rumus Slovin, serta dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, sebaliknya terhadap justru pelatihan  tidak berpengaruh kepada kinerja melalui motivasi kerja. Pengujian efek mediasi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja memediasi pengaruh disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, namun tidak memediasi pengaruh pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan disiplin dan penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif sebagai strategi peningkatan motivasi dan kinerja pegawai di rumah sakit RSUP H. Adam Malik.

Abstract

Multi Perkasa Sukses Abadi is an SME company engaged in ship repair services that still uses a manual financial recording system with Microsoft Excel. This manual system causes various obstacles such as data input errors (human error), delays in preparing financial reports, difficulties in tracking accounts receivable and payable, and difficulties in monitoring transactions in real-time. This Internship activity aims to implement an Accurate Online-based accounting system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial management. The methods used include direct observation, informal interviews, company database design, initial data input (opening balance), and implementation of recording sales, purchase, cash, and accounts receivable-payable transactions. The implementation results show that the Accurate Online system is able to generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and accounts receivable and payable reports automatically and in real-time. The reconciliation process becomes faster with minimal errors, employee work monitoring can be done directly, and management can access accurate financial information for strategic decision-making. The conclusion from this activity is that the transformation from manual recording to a digital system has a positive impact on the company's productivity, transparency, and professionalism in managing operational finances.
