Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of bilingualism in early education at Sekolah Alam Cempaka Kids, focusing on the forms of bilingualism, dominant language use, and influencing factors. Bilingualism, crucial for global communication, is increasingly integrated into education to enhance students' linguistic and cognitive skills. However, challenges such as limited teacher proficiency and inadequate resources hinder its effectiveness. The research aims to analyze bilingual practices, identify the dominant language, and explore factors affecting its application. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and document analysis. Participants included five teachers and 25 students aged 4–6 years. Findings revealed that code-switching and code-mixing were prevalent, with Indonesian as the dominant language and English used sparingly. Key influencing factors included teachers' limited English proficiency, insufficient resources, and minimal parental support for English use at home. The study highlights the need for structured bilingual programs, enhanced teacher training, and improved resources to optimize bilingual education. These findings contribute to understanding bilingualism in early education settings, particularly in Indonesia, and offer practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to foster effective bilingual learning environments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Work Life Balance dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan Pada PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo. Jumlah karyawan karyawan PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo terdiri dari 13 orang dan yang menjadi informan kunci adalah informan  I yaitu Branch Support Operational Atas nama Indriyanti (key informan). Metode analisis data yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis suatu fenomena dengan cara mendeskripsikan fokus penelitian yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang diteliti. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Deskriptif kualitatif sesuai dengan pendapat Miles dan Huberman Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa: Work Life Balance dapat meningkatkan kinelrja karyawan PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo pada aspek kualitas kerja, kuantitas kerja, Waktu Kerja, dan Kerja Sama sehingga Work Life Balance baik Keseimbangan Waktu (Time Balance), Keseimbangan Ketertarikan (Involvement Balance), Keseimbangan Kepuasan (Satisfaction Balance) karyawan pada PT. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna Cabang Palopo terimplementasi dengan baik. Karyawan sangat di berikan waktu yang cukup untuk dapat melakukan aktivitas kerja sembari waktu untuk kehidupan pribadi / keluarga dan social dengan harapan karyawan akan lebih semangat serta termotivasi untuk memberikan Kinerja terbaik, Perusahaan membuka ruang kepada karyawan untuk berpartisipasi dan terlibat dalam event atau kegiatan/projek perusahaan sehingga rasa memiliki perusahaan lebih besar, yang nantinya di harapkan karyawan akan merasa Puas berada di lingkungan perusahaan, selain itu perusahaan sangat peduli dengan kepuasan karyawan khususnya dari Segi Jenjang Carier, Financial Income, kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana kerja serta transportasi dan akomodasi yang di butuhkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital communication demands reliable data protection systems to safeguard privacy and information security. WhatsApp, as the most widely used instant messaging application, has implemented an End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) system using AES-256 and ECDH Curve25519 algorithms within the Signal Protocol. This study aims to analyze the security architecture of WhatsApp’s E2EE and evaluate its effectiveness and limitations in addressing modern cybersecurity threats. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through a literature study, examining technical documentation, scientific journals, and limited encryption-decryption simulations. The analysis reveals that WhatsApp successfully integrates symmetric and asymmetric cryptography through a key exchange mechanism (Identity Key, Signed Pre Key, One-Time Pre Key) and the Double Ratchet Algorithm, which generates unique session keys for each message. This system ensures confidentiality, integrity, and forward secrecy, meaning that no third party; including WhatsApp servers—can read the message contents. However, vulnerabilities still exist in endpoint security, metadata management, and backup systems that are not fully protected by E2EE. In conclusion, WhatsApp’s E2EE system is a robust and adaptive model for secure digital communication, though it still requires reinforcement in user-end protection and data management policies. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing more secure, transparent, and equitable communication systems in the digital age.

Abstract

This study explores corporate resilience strategies in sustaining business operations as a critical contribution to national resilience. Amid growing external pressures such as social conflict, economic instability, and environmental demands, companies must develop adaptive strategies that integrate effective communication and sustainable social responsibility practices. Using a mixed-methods approach, this explanatory research involved quantitative data collection through stakeholder questionnaires and qualitative data via in-depth interviews with CSR and general affairs staff. The findings reveal that corporate resilience is significantly influenced by a company’s ability to build reciprocal and transparent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Strategic implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs not only mitigates conflict but also strengthens a company’s public legitimacy. Moreover, resilience strategies that include stakeholder engagement, proactive risk management, and organizational communication foster operational stability. These actions support national resilience by generating employment opportunities, promoting social welfare, and enhancing local economic development. The study emphasizes that CSR should not be viewed as a financial burden but as a long-term investment aligned with sustainable development goals. It is recommended that companies integrate CSR into core business strategies, strengthen public relations functions, and maintain participatory communication with all stakeholders. Ultimately, resilient companies play a vital role in fostering national strength, particularly in ensuring economic continuity and social harmony in times of uncertainty.

Abstract

In the digital era, the need for data protection systems has become increasingly urgent due to growing threats to privacy, such as eavesdropping and information theft. This study aims to design and implement a data protection system that combines Least Significant Bit (LSB)-based steganography with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) encryption to secure confidential data within digital images. This research employs an applied quantitative experimental approach with a laboratory design, involving the encryption of text data using AES-256, followed by embedding the encrypted data into PNG-format images using the LSB technique. Evaluation is conducted by measuring image quality using PSNR and MSE, as well as assessing the success of data extraction, decryption, and process efficiency. The results show that the system successfully maintains the visual quality of the image, with PSNR values exceeding 58 dB, indicating no significant visual alterations. Data extraction and decryption achieved a 100% success rate, while the execution time for each process was less than 0.02 seconds, demonstrating high efficiency. The combination of steganography and encryption proves to provide an effective layered protection mechanism for confidential data. In conclusion, this system is feasible for implementation as a digital image-based data security solution, with potential for further development through adaptive steganography methods and the integration of additional encryption algorithms.

Abstract

Cedera sumsum tulang belakang (SCI) merupakan kondisi neurologis serius yang dapat menyebabkan morbiditas dan kecacatan jangka panjang, seringkali terkait dengan trauma fisik pada tulang belakang dan kondisi lain seperti spondilolistesis, di mana segmen vertebra atas bergeser dan menyebabkan gejala neurologis. Penelitian ini melaporkan kasus seorang pasien laki-laki berusia 40 tahun yang mengeluhkan nyeri leher dan kelemahan ekstremitas setelah jatuh dari pohon dengan leher membentur tanah terlebih dahulu. Pemeriksaan fisik menunjukkan defisit neurologis yang signifikan, dan diagnosis spondilolistesis servikal dikonfirmasi melalui pencitraan. Pasien menjalani laminektomi dekompresif dan stabilisasi posterior untuk mencegah cedera lebih lanjut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SCI servikal akibat spondilolistesis adalah kondisi yang langka namun mengancam jiwa, dengan morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi. Diagnosis dan penanganan yang tepat sangat penting untuk mencegah cedera lanjutan, dan pendekatan anestesi yang hati-hati juga diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko komplikasi selama prosedur bedah. Penanganan cepat dan tepat terhadap SCI yang disebabkan oleh spondilolistesis dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien serta mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut, menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengelolaan yang tepat dalam kasus ini.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of increasing applicants on passport services at the Class I Central Jakarta Immigration Office, particularly during peak hours, when long queues often occur, leading to delays and decreased public satisfaction. High pressure on officers during these periods can reduce service quality and increase the risk of administrative errors. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing Indrajit's (2006) e-government theory, with primary data collected from interviews, observations, and documentation involving 17 informants, as well as secondary data sources. Data analysis was conducted using techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that e-government services at the Immigration Office are supported by adequate telecommunication infrastructure, including high-speed internet and modern hardware/software. The use of online service applications facilitates real-time, transparent passport applications, thereby improving public access and enabling effective monitoring. Human resources in the office demonstrate strong readiness for digital transformation, supported by routine training and digital literacy programs. Budget management is efficient, supporting infrastructure procurement, application development, and employee training. Legal frameworks, including laws, government regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), provide comprehensive guidance for e-government services, ensuring personal data protection and procedural accountability. Additionally, the shift from conventional to digital workflows has been gradual, fostering an adaptive and innovative work culture focused on public satisfaction and service accessibility. The study suggests that enhancing e-government infrastructure and employee training is key to improving service quality and public satisfaction in the public service context.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of family violence on adolescents based on the results of group counseling on 15-year-old male adolescent subjects. Adolescents who experience verbal and physical violence in the family face major challenges in their emotional and behavioral development with a qualitative approach and case study, data collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that violence from parents contributes to identity crises, emotional disturbances, and difficulties in establishing social relationships. Group counseling allows subjects to realize inner wounds, build new hopes, and strengthen emotional regulation. Through a qualitative approach and case study method, this article examines the psychological dynamics that emerge in subjects and the role of counseling in facilitating self-reflection and behavioral change. Group counseling has been shown to provide space for self-expression and reflection, becoming one of the effective approaches in helping psychological recovery.

Abstract

This research focuses on Bored pile work which is a fairly important component in the construction of bridge piers on toll road projects, especially at locations adjacent to river flows. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Bored pile work at Pier 125 of the Harbour Road II Toll Road Development Project, focusing on implementation methodology, quality control, and identifying challenges that occurred during the construction process. The research methods used include: literature study to understand the basic principles and standards of Bored pile work; field observation conducted to document the stages of construction work implementation, starting from land preparation, drilling process, reinforcement installation, to concrete casting; and several tests conducted, such as slump test, and Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) test.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah menjadi kebutuhan mendasar bagi institusi kesehatan, khususnya rumah sakit, dalam menghadapi tuntutan peningkatan efisiensi, kualitas layanan, dan kepuasan pasien. Namun, kurangnya kompetensi digital dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang mendukung sering menjadi penyebab utama kegagalan proses ini. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai data mengenai transformasi manajemen rumah sakit di era digital dengan fokus pada pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Melalui pendekatan literature review terhadap 10 jurnal penelitian yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2014-2024 dan tersedia dalam teks lengkap dengan akses terbuka, studi ini membahas berbagai strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam konteks digitalisasi layanan kesehatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan transformasi digital sangat bergantung pada kesiapan dan kapabilitas sumber daya manusia dalam mengadopsi dan mengimplementasikan teknologi baru. Beberapa strategi utama pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang teridentifikasi meliputi: (1) Pendekatan Pelatihan Adaptif; (2) Kepemimpinan Transformasional;(3) Pendekatan Kolaboratif; (4) Manajemen Evolusi Peran Profesional; (5) Pengembangan Kompetensi Bertingkat; dan (6) Integrasi Kompetensi Digital dengan Jenjang Karier. Temuan kajian ini memberikan landasan evidence-based bagi pemangku kebijakan dalam merancang strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang efektif untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan dengan basis e-leadership sebagai katalisator proses pelatihan yang dipersonalisasi sesuai kondisi individual tenaga kesehatan.
