Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa lebih meningkat ketika menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika realistik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Studi ini dilaksanakan pada Semester genap 2021/2022 di SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. Siswa kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, tes digunakan untuk pengumpulan data, dan uji-t pada rata-rata dua kelompok dilakukan untuk analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 74,96, dengan standar deviasi 13,98 dan varians 195,51. Sebaliknya, nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 67,07, dengan standar deviasi 12,27 dan varians 150,66. = 2.24 dan = l.67 merupakan kesimpulan dari pengujian hipotesis. Hasil menolak , menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika realistik rata-rata lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika daripada siswa yang menggunakan model tradisional pada materi garis dan sudut.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Dj Arie Public Speaking and Boardcasting School Bandung. The problem contained in the formulation of the problem is how the role of public speaking training in fostering student confidence at Dj Arie Public Speaking and Boardcasting School Bandung. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of public speaking training in fostering student confidence at Dj Arie Public Speaking and Boardcasting School Bandung. This research uses qualitative methods and is a field research. The research data was obtained through direct observation to the field, interviews involving students and tutors who became informants, and documentation studies from books and other materials related to the subject matter. The results of this study indicate that the role of public speaking training is very large in fostering students' confidence which is one of the supports and provisions when speaking in public such as appearing at events and can be a provision for students in carrying out certain public speaking activities.

Abstract

PKS Pagar Merbau is a plantation company engaged in palm oil processing. Due to the unpredictable level of demand, determining the timing and number of orders becomes difficult, resulting in increased inventory costs. By using the Period Order Quantity Method, it aims to be able to control Crude Palm Oil raw material inventory which will minimize inventory costs. The Period Order Quantity (POQ) method is a development of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method where the number of orders can minimize the total cost of inventory. The results of applying this method, obtained the optimal number of orders of 1,208,798.12 kg for one order with a frequency of 101 times a year with a safety stock of 3,000,200.61 kg and a reorder point of 3,961,816.26 kg. The total inventory cost according to company policy is Rp. 3,159,298,770.65 while the total inventory cost according to the Period Order Quantity method is 2,879,961,532.42. Then the total inventory cost savings of Rp. 279,337,238.23 or 8.86%

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimality of a quadratic program model using the penalty function. The analysis is carried out in each case that has been made so that in each case optimal results are obtained. There are many methods that can be used to solve the quadratic program problem but in terms of the number of iterations, this research uses the penalty function and then implements it into the Matlab programming language. The results obtained in this study indicate that by using the penalty function as a parameter, the optimal value of a function can be obtained. The results of the analysis will also be more optimal by using the lagrange method depending on the parameter values obtained.

Abstract

The ease of using Smartphones and the many functions that help with activities, make today's teenagers very familiar with Smartphones, including students at SMP Negeri 1 Tantom Angkola. Students tend to use Smartphones for various reasons, such as just wanting to play games and being too active on social media. The impact of Smartphone dependence, especially on student development, will have a negative impact from an academic point of view. The nature of dependence does not just happen, the influence of one another is certainly interconnected or correlated and forms a causal relationship. This paper aims to see how much influence Smartphone dependency has on the learning behavior of students at SMP Negeri 1 Tantom Angkola and which variables have the most influence on the learning behavior of SMP Negeri 1 Tantom Angkola Students. The method used in this study is the Path Analysis method. Path Analysis is a technique for analyzing causal relationships that occur when exogenous variables affect endogenous variables, not only directly but also indirectly. Path Analysis is used to determine the direct and indirect effects of exogenous variables on an endogenous variable which is reflected in the path coefficient. From the research results, it is obtained that the direct influence of social media variables on learning behavior = 44.9%, the large direct influence of online game variables on learning behavior = 40.7%, the direct influence of internet data package variables on learning behavior = 0.4%, the direct effect of school control variables on learning behavior = 85.2%. Then the variable that has the greatest influence on learning behavior is the school control variable with a value of 85.2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to revisits methods that are more effective in nonlinear Optimization with single variable polynomial functions at high degrees. Models with linear objective functions and constraint functions are Polynomials of third, fourth and fifth degree reconstructed into subproblems that are easier to solve, namely quadratic programs, using bilinear Auxiliary Functions and solved by MATLAB simulations. The method used is the development of Tawarmalani & Sahinidis' research regarding relaxation with Auxiliary Functions. Examples of nonlinear Optimization with polynomial functions are also given to illustrate the implementation of this algorithm. The results of the research show that the application of the development reconstruction method produces a global solution that is no better than the solution to the original problem so that it is not an effective alternative method to use.

Abstract

Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a problem that is often encountered by a salesman who must travel exactly once to all consumers in a route and will return to the starting point of departure. Algorithm Genetic Algorithm is one way to find heuristic solutions based on the evolutionary ideas of natural selection and genetics. The aim is to find the optimal route for the distribution of bottled water products produced by PT. Mual Natio Maju Bersama. To find a solution, the chromosomes processed by the genetic algorithm are represented through the stages in the Genetic Algorithm individual initialization, fitness value, linear fitness ranking, roulette whell selection, crossover, and mutation. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) Berbasis Problem Based learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan atau R&D ( Research and development). Subyek penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang peserta didik di kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Doloksanggul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dikembangkan adalah : (1).Valid dengan indikator penilaian aspek kelayakan isi memproleh nilai presentase 91,79% dengan kategori sangat valid, indikator penelitian berupa aspek penyajian materi memproleh nilai presentase sebesar 95,55% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek kebahasaan dan nilai presentase sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat valid dan aspek kegrafikan dengan nilai presentase sebesar 97,03% dengan kategori sangat valid, serta validitas LKPD secara keseluruhan memproleh nilai presentase 94,16% dengan kriteria sangat valid, (2) LKPD yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria efektif berdasarkan aspek keefektifan. Keefektifan diproleh dari hasiil ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal adalah 84,33% sehingga secara klasikal telah memenuhi kriteria pencapaian ketuntasan dan siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan presentase 86,66% yang termasuk dalam kategori tuntas. (3) LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mencakup 4 indikator, pada indikator pertama 93% indikator kedua 86% indikator ketiga 81% dan indikator keempat 78%. Sehingga kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa meningkat dari uji coba pretest dan uji coba posttest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the analysis of improving students' mathematical communication skills with Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. The subject of this research is the most published articles in published journals about mathematical communication skills through Realistic Mathematics Education approach to junior high school students. Based on the findings from 5 journals, it was found that students' mathematical communication improved better in students who studied with Realistic Mathematics Education approach compared to students who studied with conventional learning. Realistic Mathematics Education approach can improve students' ability to describe, understand, and represent mathematical ideas contained in pictures, tables or diagrams. So, Realistic Mathematics Education approach is one approach that can improve students' mathematical communication skills at the junior high school level with effect size score of 1,158 in the large effect category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model on students' mathematical reasoning and communication skills in the Pythagorean Theorem sub-subject in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Munte in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1Munte for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. While the sample in this study consisted of 2 classes of 38 students each in class VIII-1 as the experimental class and class VIII-3 as the control class. The experimental class uses the Group Investigation cooperative learning model consisting of 5 students per group, and the control class uses the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model consisting of 2 students per group. This type of research is an experiment. Prior to testing the hypothesis, the normality and homogeneity tests are tested first. Normality was tested using the Lilliefors technique and homogeneity using the F test. From the tests performed, it was found that both samples were normally distributed and homogeneous. There is a positive and significant influence of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model on the mathematical reasoning abilities of junior high school students. There is a positive and significant influence of the Group Investigation type of cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students because the average communication ability of students who are taught with the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model consisting of 5 people per group is higher than the average communication ability of students who are taught with the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model consisting of 2 people per group
