Abstract

The succes of character education can be influenced by the understanding of citizens and public figure on the development and growth of children. Every children has different abilities in carrying out developmental tasks , developing aspects and characteristic of development . Based on the results of preliminary research shows that the citizens and public figure in the village Ciomas district panjalu, ciamis district still lack understanding of development and growth of children.  One way to improve the understanding of citizens and public figure through counseling with the aim of improving the character of children based on the growth and development of children . The methods in counseling are discourse and discussion.  The results of this counseling can be increase the motivation of citizens and public figure to understand the importance  of growth and development of children and expect re-counseling. Citizens and public figure motivation is an indicator of successful implementation of counseling.

Abstract

A lack of character education achievement in high school is due to the weakness of school culture climate management. Junior and Senior High School students have  potency to develop their character, and the teacher also has a wide opportunity to improve the character education of students.One of them is by improving the conducive school culture climate management. Character education really needs to be improved in school. Therefore, the this training purpose is to work out BK coordinators/counselors so as they can improve school culture climate management,as well asboth characters of junior high and high school students. The methods in this training are: discussion, lecture, and demonstration (or) practice. The training result can improve the teachers’ spirit to understand and implement the school culture climate management and teachers’ willing to follow the next training. The teachers’ spirit itself will support the success of improving character education in schools. This training can develop teachers' skills and motivate students to engage in creating condition that enhance character educationdirectly. School culture climate management in accordance with school condition will facilitate the implementation of character education on both junior and senior high school students.

Abstract

Counseling has a strategic role in facilitating the growth and development of counselees in schools. Counselee is able to develop the power of thinking and independence, as well as demanded upon making decisions, to continue to universities and working world. Counselors assume counselees are lack of ability to solve problems. Therefore, counselors need to implement collaborative counseling, so as to encourage the counselee to participate, utilize the capabilities, advantages and experiences of counselees. The method in this training, are: discussion, lecture, and demonstration/practice. The result of this training, can improve the spirit of counselors to understand and implement the concept of collaborative counseling and take part on the incoming trainings. The spirit of counselor would help in solving the problem of counselees and supporting educational success. This training can improve the ability of counselors in motivating the counselee to consult, and cooperate in solving matters. Counseling collaborative is relevant to the school conditions and very effective to solve the counselee’s problem.

Abstract

This training is purposed for teachers at Elementary School 1 Padalarang West Bandung to improve the ability in learning based on school and culture climate management. The methods used in this training are discussion, lectures and demonstration/practices. The training results show that the trainees responded positively to the school and culture climate management in learning. They were also motivated to join the training and to follow incoming trainings as well as to try applying the learning based on school and culture climate management. The training reveals many abilities, advantages, and experiences to the trainees so that many participated and contributed over the implementation. Trainees are listening, scrutinizing and critiquing training materials. The impact of the training outcomes is training participants increased their ability and proved their confidence and understanding to the spirit of applying the results to their daily life.

Abstract

The less succesful of guidance and counseling in high schools is caused by chinless cooperation between the counselor and the counselee on implementing guidance and counseling. The counselee are expected to be able to enhance thinking skills, make decisions, continue education to the higher levels and plunge into the work field. Yet, counselors often interpret mostly counselees are less capable in handling matters. Therefore, counselors need to perform guidance and collaborative counseling in form of encouraging the counselee to participate, take advantage of capabilities, excellence and experience, until they improve their learning skills. These training methods involve discussions, lectures, and demonstrations / practice. One of the training results is enhancing counselors’ spirit to understand and implement the guidance concept and collaborative counseling as well as to join further trainings. The enthusiasm owned by counselors is supporting its success to provide assistance toward the counselee, as well. This training can increase the counselors capabilities to attract the counselee into consultation, and involve them in solving the problem. Guidance and collaborative counseling accordance with the conditions in schools are quite appropriate for handling the problems faced by the counselee.

Abstract

Peningkatan perkembangan ABK harus selalu dilaksanakan di rumahdan sekolah. Peningkatan Perkembangan ABK yang dilakukan oleh pihakguru dan orang tua kurang maksimal, dikarenakan guru belum optimalmengelola suasana hubungan dan menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman danmenyenangkan di sekolah, begitu juga orang tua belum optimal mengelolahubungan dan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk perkembanganABK di rumah. Guru dan orang tua harus ditingkatkan kompetensi kognitif,afektif dan psikomotornya. Dengan berbagai keterbatasan yang dimiliki ABK,guru dan orangtua kemungkinan besar akan semakin sulit dalam meningkatkanperkembangan ABK. Tujuan pembahasan ini adalah menggambarkan penerapanmanajemen iklim budaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan perkembangan ABK.Oleh karena itu, dalam pembahasan ini akan menguraikan tentang bagaimanamanajemen iklim budaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan perkembangan ABK.Manajemen iklim budaya sekolah itu sebagai hasil penelitian pada beberapasekolah di tingkat SLTA, SLTP dan Tingkat Dasar. Pembahasan dalamartikel ini sangat didasari oleh hasil penelitian tersebut.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data BAN PT ada beberapa Progam Studi pada PTS maupun akreditasi institusi masih terakreditasi C, bahkan masih ada PTS belum memiliki penjaminan mutu internal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan: (1) Kebijakan mutu dalam implementasi penjaminan mutu internal, (2) Kapasitas organisasi dalam implementasi penjaminan mutu internal, (3) Proses implementasi penjaminan mutu internal, (4) Dampak implementasi penjaminan mutu internal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan (1) Kebijakan mutu dalam implementasi penjaminan mutu internal sebagai upaya peningkatan tahapan dari teaching university menuju tahapan excelent teaching university dalam mewujudkan universitas yang unggul. (2) Kapasitas organisasi dalam implementasi penjaminan mutu internal ditunjukkan melalui kepemimpinan yang efektif, teknologi informasi, infrastruktur, keuangan, sumber daya manusia, nilai dan budaya perguruan tinggi yang meliputi sikap, kebiasaan, perilaku berorganisasi, etos kerja, berkarya, melayani, berinteraksi dengan kolega, pimpinan, dan masyarakat dengan hasil yang baik. (3) Proses implementasi penjamin mutu internal telah mengimplementasikan penjaminan mutu internal pada tingkat universitas, fakultas, program studi, dan unit pelaksana lainnya untuk menjamin kesesuaian dan kepastian terhadap norma, standar, pedoman, peraturan, dan manual yang berlaku. (4) Dampak implementasi penjaminan mutu internal menunjukkan bahwa perguruan tinggi telah memiliki akreditasi institusi dengan peringkat akreditasi B dari BAN-PT yang ditunjukkan oleh kapasitas institusi dan efektivitas pendidikan. Secara umum bahwa perguruan tinggi yang diteliti telah mengimplementasikan penjaminan mutu internal dengan baik hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil akreditasi perguruan tinggi dengan akreditasi B.

Abstract

Curriculum management is a cooperative, comprehensive, systemic and systematic curriculum management system. LPK (Job Training Institute) is a non-formal educational institution organized for the community to provide knowledge and skills that must have a curriculum in accordance with government regulations. In this study, a qualitative approach was used with an analytical descriptive method. Conclusions The results of this research are that the job training institute (IRMA) uses a curriculum that is guided by the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) so that graduates from Irma training institutions have the competencies needed by the world of work by delivering material to training participants using the Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning Model (PAKEM) in implementing the curriculum based on the Syllabus and lesson plans that have been provided.

Abstract

Management of infrastrucuture and Facilities is one of many fields of quality that need to be improved. Infrastructure is one of the supporting factors in the learning process. In the concept of The Juran Trilogy or commonly called the Juran Trilogy can be applied in schools as an effort to improve the quality of educational services. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the planning of infrastructure facilities at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta, (2) to describe the control of infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta, (3) to describe the improvement of infrastructure facilities at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. While the data collection techniques used include: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation study. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, data verification. While the data validity technique uses credibility, triangulation, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results showed that: (1) the planning of infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta aims to determine the infrastructure so that the vision and mission of the school can be achieved, (2) the control of infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta is carried out by inventory, storage, maintenance. (3) improving the quality of infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Purwakarta is carried out by preparing schedules, prioritized activities, time/schedule for use, assignments/appointments according to expertise.
