Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan tahun 2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menganalisis ketersediaan input yang dibutuhkan dalam usaha pembuatan tahu di daerah penelitian. (2) Untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan kedelai menjadi tahu di daerah penelitian. (3) Untuk menganalisis apakah usaha tahu di daerah penelitian layak untuk di usahakan secara ekonomi di daerah penelitian. Penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive (sengaja) dengan melihat data bahwa daerah tersebut merupakan sentra pengusaha tahu. Penentuan sampel penelitian dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin. Pengujian hipotesis data menggunakan analisis kelayakan ekonomi dengan kriteria uji NPV, EIRR, Net B/C, dan Payback Period. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Input yang digunakan dalam agroindustri tahu di daerah penelitian adalah kacang kedelai, air bersih, zat penggumpal dan bahan bakar. alat-alatnya yang digunakan adalah mesin penggiling, drum, tungku, cetakan tahu, ember, saringan dan sekop. Semua input tersedia dan mudah didapatkan. (2) Urutan proses pengolahan kedelai menjadi tahu didaerah penelitian adalah perendaman, pencucian, perebusan, penyaringan, penggumpalan, pencetakan dan pengepresan kemudian pemotongan. (3) Dengan analisis ekonomi, agroindustri tahu didaerah penelitian layak untuk diusahakan disebabkan oleh nilai NPV 617.861.238,17 > 0, EIRR 38% > SOCC, dan B/C 7,30> 1 dan pengembalian modal investasi selama dua tahun tujuh bulan.  Kata kunci: Studi Kelayakan, Usaha Tahu, Agroindustri, analisis ekonomi

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities at SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a problem-based learning model. This type of research is class action research. The research was conducted in Class VII-1 of SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a total of 32 students. This study uses data reduction and exposure. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of a problem-based learning model using LKPD can improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities in SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This is based on the achievement of predetermined success indicators, where the average percentage of classical mastery of students' mathematical reasoning abilities has reached 85%, the results in cycle II are 90.6%, and student absorption is  68. Furthermore, the learning process by applying the approach of problem-based learning using LKPD is at least in the "good" category, where the score is > 2.5. In the results of this study, the average learning process in the second cycle was at a value of 3.52, which is in the "good" category.

Abstract

Change is a series of actions that cannot be removed from an organization. The process of change is inevitable in any organization. The process of shifting from the current situation to the future state to improve an organization is known as organizational change. To prepare for and overcome the difficulties that will arise in the future, the organization will always go through transformation. Organizational change can start from inside or outside the company. The change can take the form of systematic change or structured change that must be carried out properly. Organizational leadership is needed to facilitate the course of change so that the organization can be improved in success. The success or failure of an organization greatly affects the success of that organization. Organizational change is not always well agreed upon because every change is met with rejection. The existence of organizational change can be a risk of organizational failure, so good management is needed so that the organization can develop.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the analysis of improving students' mathematical communication skills with Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. The subject of this research is the most published articles in published journals about mathematical communication skills through Realistic Mathematics Education approach to junior high school students. Based on the findings from 5 journals, it was found that students' mathematical communication improved better in students who studied with Realistic Mathematics Education approach compared to students who studied with conventional learning. Realistic Mathematics Education approach can improve students' ability to describe, understand, and represent mathematical ideas contained in pictures, tables or diagrams. So, Realistic Mathematics Education approach is one approach that can improve students' mathematical communication skills at the junior high school level with effect size score of 1,158 in the large effect category.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara menyeluruh sejauh mana pendekatan pembelajaran PjBL mampu mendorong peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam konteks matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Fungsi Variabel Kompleks, dengan memperhatikan peran Adversity Quotient (AQ) sebagai faktor pendukung. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan satu kelompok pretest-posttest, di mana satu kelas mahasiswa menjadi subjek perlakuan melalui implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL). Partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester enam dari Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Negeri Medan, yang dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, dengan total sampel sebanyak 10 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis serta angket untuk mengukur tingkat Adversity Quotient (AQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan besar antara skor pretest dan posttest, yang menunjukkan bahwa bahwa implementasi PjBL memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Lebih lanjut, analisis N-Gain memperlihatkan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 63,7%, yang berada dalam kategori cukup efektif. Temuan tambahan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan profil AQ Climber mengalami peningkatan yang lebih menonjol dibandingkan dengan kelompok AQ Camper. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek berhasil tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh modelnya semata, tetapi juga oleh ketangguhan individu dalam menghadapi hambatan pembelajaran Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, Adversity Quotient

Abstract

This research aims to describe the analysis result of the use of learning media in the Problem Based Learning model. The methods used in this research is literature study of 6 sources consists of 3 thesis and 3 journals discuss the use of learning media in the Problem Based Learning model in Indonesia published in the span of 2016-2022. From the calculation of the effect size, the average value is 0.79 which is categorized in the medium category. This shows that the use of learning media with Problem Based Learning in mathematics learning had a positive effect on improving the mathematical ability of students and the effect obtained is in the medium category. The mathematical ability could be improved based on the literature study such as student’s mathematical connection ability, student’s mathematical problem soving ability dan student’s mathematical numeracy literacy ability. The type of learning media according this research are animation, geogebra, microsoft power point, fun math book, cabri 3D v2 dan youtube. Hope for further research can be analyzed more deeply by using more sources so the result will be more maximal and varied.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, effectiveness and how the students' answers process in completing the conceptual understanding ability test of the developed Articulate Storyline. This type of research is ADDIE model development research. The subjects of this research were 15 students in class VIII-2. The research results showed that the validity of the media was 85% before revision and 98% after revision from material experts and 61.67% before revision and 98% after revision from media experts on very valid criteria. The practicality of the media has met practical criteria, based on teacher responses obtained at 100% and from student responses obtained at 92.36%. The effectiveness of the media has met the effective criteria in terms of classical student learning completeness reaching 86.67%, use of research time in accordance with the RPP, and student response of 91.67%. The N-Gain test result is 0.70 in the high category. For the student answer process on the ability test (pre-test) it was 38.89%, increasing to 46.67% on the final ability test (post-test). Increasing students' ability to understand mathematical concepts strengthens the development of Articulate Storyline mathematics learning media in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

Pedestrian adalah sebagai pejalan kaki atau manusia yang berjalan kaki. Kenyamanan jalur pedestrian harus dijadikan sebagai prioritas dalam perencanaan transportasi kota khususnya pejalan kaki. Lingkungan kota yang bersih dari polusi merupakan lingkungan kota yang ramah bagi pejalan kaki dengan memberikan fasilitas yang layak dan memadai untuk aktifitasnya berupa jalur pedestrian yang nyaman dan aman untuk pejalan kaki. Jalur pedestrian adalah ruas pejalan kaki, baik yang terintegrasi maupun terpisah dengan jalan, yang diperuntukkan untuk prasarana dan sarana pejalan kaki serta menghubungkan pusat-pusat kegiatan dan fasilitas pergantian moda. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kondisi jalur pedestrian dan tingkat kenyamanan pejalan kaki atau fasilitas yang tersedia di area jalur pedestrian di Jalan SM. Raja Kota Padang-sidimpuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan buku Pedestrian Ways Dalam Perancangan Kota. Dari hasil analisis data, dapat di ambil kesimpulan, yaitu: kondisi jalur pedestrian di Jalan SM. Raja Kota Padangsidimpuan disebagian masih ada beberapa permukaan jalur pedestriannya pecah dan berlobang, parkir liar yang menggunakan area jalur pedestrian, pedagang yang meletakkan dagangannya di areal jalur pedestrian sehingga menghambat para pejalan kaki. Tingkat kenyamanan pejalan kaki pada umumnya merasa tidak nyaman disebabkan tidak adanya penertiban penyalahgunaan fungsi pedestrian sehingga banyak PKL dan sepeda motor parkir di atas jalur pedestrian, tingkat kejahatan yaitu 73,63 %, aspek arpma dan bau-bauan 53,93 %, iklim mikro 53,63 %, bentuk dan kualitas jalur pedestrian 61,81 %, keindahan, keamanan dari jalur itu sendiri dari permukaan jalur yang licin 56,97 %, kebersihan jalur pedestrian 61,81 %, keindahan bentuk jalur pedestrian 54,84 %.

Abstract

This study is a literature review aimed at examining in depth the concepts, characteristics, learning difficulties, and applications of quadratic functions in secondary mathematics education. The research employs a qualitative approach by analyzing ten articles published between 2019 and 2025 from both national and international journals. The findings indicate that the quadratic function is a fundamental topic in the mathematics curriculum, playing a crucial role in developing higher-order mathematical thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis, and problem-solving. It also serves as a foundation for understanding more advanced topics such as calculus, analytic geometry, and optimization. However, various studies have found that students continue to face significant learning difficulties, including misconceptions related to the shape of the parabola graph, understanding the discriminant value, and connecting algebraic forms to real-world contexts. To address these issues, research suggests that technology-assisted learning—particularly through interactive software such as GeoGebra—has proven effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, motivation, and student engagement. Therefore, this review highlights the importance of strengthening conceptual understanding, applying contextual learning approaches, and integrating digital technology as innovative strategies for teaching quadratic functions at the secondary education level.

Abstract

Learning quadratic functions in high school still faces various challenges, primarily due to the abstract nature of the concepts, which require students to have strong analytical thinking skills. These difficulties often result in low student understanding of the relationship between quadratic equations and parabola graphs, as well as limitations in applying these concepts to mathematical problem-solving. GeoGebra, as a technology-based learning tool, offers interactive visualizations that allow students to observe the real-time changes in the shape of a parabola when the coefficients in a quadratic equation are modified. A literature review of recent studies reveals that the use of GeoGebra significantly enhances conceptual understanding, mathematical representation skills, and student motivation. Its effectiveness further increases when combined with appropriate teaching strategies, such as the 5E model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate), which encourages active involvement and concept exploration by students. However, several challenges remain, including limited access to devices, teachers’ readiness to utilize technology, and suboptimal infrastructure support. Therefore, the integration of GeoGebra into quadratic function learning requires careful planning, teacher training, and adequate facility support to maximize its benefits and improve the overall quality of mathematics education.
