Abstract

Rudy Habibie (Habibie Ainun 2) adalah terinspirasi dari tokoh nyata Bapak Presiden Indonesia yang ke-3. Dia adalah Bapak Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie seorang sang visioner di Indonesia. Film ini menggunakan teori Optimisme untuk menggambarkan pesan optimisme apa saja disetiap adegan yang ada pada film Rudy Habibie (Habibie Ainun 2). Penelitian ini menggunakan aspek mise-en-scene yaitu setting, tata cahaya, tata rias dan kostum, serta pergerakan pemain untuk menganalisis aspek visual yang menggambarkan pesan optimisme. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka.

Abstract

There are so many natural resources in Tapal Kuda region. Meanwhile,Tapal Kuda also have ethnic, cultural and religious diversity, and good industrial growth in each regency. However, the education infratstructure is uneven, so there are still many areas left behind with high illiteracy rates. Documentary film with Association Style Picture Story is an alternative commentation of Tapal Kuda region. This Documentary film use Lacan’s Psychoanalis analogy which is created the phase of human development. ETANAN as an effort to deconstruct the ability of numbers that already exists. Association Picture Story style combined the numerical data and all the facts which is created a brand new view point and perspective for the audiences. ETANAN film illustrates the condition of natural resources, etnics, culture and the educations with association in Tapal Kuda region and creates the new perspective and meanings in a Association Picture Story style.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas struktur tanda dan makna kekurangan (lack) dalam video klip Rehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran fase simbolik yang dianalisis menggunakan semiotika dan psikoanalisis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif untuk membedah permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data pada objek penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis semiotik. Teori yang digunakan dalam menganalisis adalah semiotika film oleh Christian Metz, dan psikoanalisis oleh Jacques Lacan. Hasil analisis data memberikan kesimpulan bahwa dari 4 tema dalam video klip terdapat 6 struktur tanda dalam video klip Rehat. Selanjutnya struktur tanda tersebut dikaitkan dengan makna kekurangan (lack) dalam psikoanalisis, diketahui bahwa rasa kekurangan terjadi akibat kesenjangan antara realita yang dihadapi manusia dalam fase simbolik dengan keinginan untuk menjadi utuh kembali seperti pada fase real.

Abstract

Pojok Kampung News Program is a news program that is produced and broadcast live on JTV television stations using Javanese language suroboyoan. Since it was first aired in 2001, the program has become a spectacle that is quite well known in the community. In fact, with shows that presented the news that took place in East Java, until now the Village Corner news program still exists in the community. The existence of the Corner Kampung news program, influenced by good production management and the application of ideas applied by the editors. The results of the strategies implemented by the editor, are obtained through rating and share values, thus influencing the existence of the program. The purpose of this study was to determine the actions and strategies applied by the editor in maintaining the existence of the Pojok Kampung news program. The results of the study indicate that the editorial of the Corner Kampung news program has followed the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) well and structured. In addition, the application of 4 of the 13 elements of creative strategy was used by producers in maintaining the existence of the Kampung Corner news program.

Abstract

Abstrak Potret Pecinan Surabaya adalah dokumenter webseries yang menceritakan potret sejarah dan realita etnis Tionghoa yang ada di Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan gambar yang digunakan pengkarya adalah teknik handheld. Penggunaan teknik handheld dipilih dengan tujuan memvisualkan interaksi sosial yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat etnis Tionghoa di Pecinan Surabaya. Teknik handheld akan sangat efektif disaat menangkap sebuah momen interaksi antar individu di lokasi kejadian yang terjadi tanpa bisa direncanakan. Gaya Penyutradaraan dokumenter webseries Potret Pecinan Surabaya adalah partisipatori. Oleh karena itu, teknik handheld dirasa sangat cocok untuk memvisualkan setiap situasi dan suasana, serta membawa penonton seakan ikut berada langsung di lapangan. Kata Kunci: Film, penata kamera, handheld, etnis Tionghoa Abstract Potret Pecinan Surabaya is webseries documentary that tells a portrait of the history and reality of Chinese ethnicity in Surabaya. The shooting technique that applied in this documentary is handheld technique. The use of handheld techniques was chosen with the aim of visualizing the social interactions that occur within Chinese communities in Surabaya Chinatown. Handheld techniques will be very effective when capturing a moment of interaction between individuals at the location without being planned. The directing style of the webseries documentary of the Potret Pecinan Surabaya is participatory. Handheld techniques are considered very suitable for visualizing every situation and vibes, and bring the audience as if they were directly in the field.. Abstract

Generally, television programs are divided into two parts, which are popular entertaining program called entertainment program and information called news program Television station provides as how that covers the two elements which is known as edutainment. Si Otan program is an edutainment program that explains about animal world. Based on that, to know how far Si Otan program gives influence so that it can broaden knowledge and change perception about animal world. The data of the research were reviewed by using learning theory by Jerome Bruner, the theory that emphasizes the way how people choose, maintain, and actively transform the information. Knowing that Si Otan program can be well accepted by children, so they can understand and draw the information they get from the program. Qualitative research method wasused to know directly the children's perceptions based on their learning process. The result of the research showed that edutainment program that involved animation attracted children's learning interestso that the obtained information became a useful knowledge.

Abstract

This research discusses creative strategy the of KENZO World The New Fragrance version ad. Purpose of the research is to find out the creative ideas and the impact to the audiece. Research data based on repeated observation and describe with additional theory of Mise-en-scene. This research uses qualitative methods with observation, interview and literature study, that expected to show the effectiveness of crative strategy.

Abstract

Abstract This research discusses the increase in suspense found in the suspense scenes in the film Rec 1 of 2007. The purpose of this research is to describe the increase in suspense through aspects of framing and shot duration in 8 suspense scenes. This research uses Noel Carroll's theory of suspense approach to reduce scene or shot that have a suspense effect, then cinematographic theory is used to read aspects of framing and shot duration in Rec 1 film. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to describe, and summarize various conditions or a situation that is in accordance with the object of research, namely Rec 1 2007 film. Researcher found 8 suspense scenes using patterns of framing aspects including dutch angle and eye level, medium shot, and long take shot.

Abstract

ABSTRAK OK Go dikenal sebagai musisi yang selalu menciptakan video klip kreatif, salah satunya adalah video klip Upside Down & Inside Out. Produksi dilakukan dalam sebuah pesawat yang terbang dilangit, tanpa menggunakan bantuan tali atau green screen. Damian Kulash sebagai anggota OK Go dan sutradara menginginkan video klip ini menjadi sebuah video zero gravity yang utuh dan berkesinambungan, namun waktu paling lama yang didapat pada setiap pola parabola hanya 27 detik. Sinematografi berupa camera angle, continuity, cutting, close up, dan composition, dapat membantu dalam mewujudkan video zero gravity yang berkesinambungan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis menganalisis bentuk sinematografi video klip Upside Down & Inside Out, dipandang menggunakan teori sinematografi Joseph V. Mascelli dan estetika Djakob Sumardjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. ABSTRACT OK Go is known as a creative musician that always makes a creative music video, one of them is Upside Down & Inside Out music video. It was produced at a plane, in the sky, without wire or green screen. Damian Kulash, as an Ok Go's member and a director, wanted this music video a whole zero gravity video, but the longest time that they got was only 27 seconds long. Cinematography like camera angle, continuity, cutting, close up, and composition can help in realizing continuous zero gravity video. Based on this, the author analyzes the form of the video clip cinematography Upside Down & Inside Out, seen using the cinematography theory of Joseph V. Mascelli and the aesthetic of Djakob Sumardjo. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques in the form of observations, documentation, and library studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas visualisasi berita dalam program magazine Weekend List episode Shinta dan Marsya jalan-jalan ke Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui visualisasi berita yang terdapat dalam program Weekend List menggunakan teori unsur-unsur berita (5W+1H). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui video tayangan episode tersebut berupa screenshot gambar, naskah berita dan literatur atau sumber informasi terkait program tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan visualisasi berita dalam program magazine Weekend List dapat diterima dengan baik oleh penonton. Karena unsur berita (5W+1H), sinematografi dan audio bekerja sama dengan baik demi menghasilkan informasi yang dapat diterima oleh penonton.
