Abstract

The aim of this study was to find (1) constraints in improving the quality of schools, (2) the strategy of principals to improve school quality, and (3) the efforts of principals to maintain school quality strategies. This study used a qualitative approach, with the study design of the case study. The place of this study was at the SD Islam Terpadu Robbani Singosari. The technique of collecting data is in-depth interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data obtained results in findings that are in accordance with the problems being faced by the school. The results of the study are (1) constraints to improving the quality of the school, namely the teacher's educational background that is not in accordance with the required qualifications, (2) the principal's strategy to improve the quality of the school includes participating in education seminars and requiring teachers not to qualify again 3) the efforts of the principal to maintain the school quality strategy including providing financial incentives and forming teacher work teams to improve their competence in teaching.

Abstract

Management of tahfidz al-Quran learning in terms of organizing educators has a lack of human resources. The implementation of tahfidz learning in practice has not been effectively evenly implemented by educators. This study aims to uncover the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, of the tahfidz al-Quran learning based on the Yaddain method in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Plus Darul Hufadz Sumedang. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques used the technique of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study. The results of the study show: first, planning is carried out by making learning concepts that are detailed with short-term, mid-term, and long-term planning, formulated through syllabi and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP); second, organizing is carried out by determining the tasks and stages in the tahfidz Quran learning process; third, the implementation is carried out with class management, scheduling, activity mechanisms including opening, core and closing activities; fourth, evaluation is carried out by monitoring students with individual student absenteeism while taking part in learning, repeating mid-semester and final examinations.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of the zoning system in the acceptance of SMA / SMK New Students (PPDB) towards the equal distribution of the quality of Human Resources (HR) in East Java Province. The zoning system in accepting high school / vocational students will prevent the accumulation of certain quality human resources in the region. Zoning of high school / vocational student admissions will encourage equal distribution of quality human resources in an area, making it easier to meet the needs of the workforce to support local economic activities. The author uses a descriptive qualitative approach in analyzing the application of zoning systems in PPDB SMA / SMK in East Java. A qualitative case study strategy was used to explain the impact of the policy in reducing disparity in human resource quality between regions in East Java. In this case, the authors use the assumption that providing equal opportunities to obtain quality education in an area will guarantee the availability of quality human resources equally. This paper presents an interesting analysis, that the direct or indirect PPDB zoning system policies at the SMA / SMK level will encourage even distribution of quality human resources in East Java. First, the high school / vocational PPDB zoning policy avoids the accumulation of high-quality prospective students in only one particular school in a particular region, thus raising exclusivity in the field of education. Second, the implementation of the zoning system policy guarantees the availability of quality workforce equally, because students receive teaching by teachers and educational resources with no different quality. The absence of a gap in the quality of graduates will ultimately increase the even distribution of quality human resources in all regions of East Java.

Abstract

Human resources are prizes that are priceless. By improving the ability of human resources, it will have a great impact on good progress in the fields of social, political, economic, and even technology. Millennial are a generation that grows and develops in a world with rapid technological and knowledge developments. Millennial generation is the potential of human resources which, if used optimally, will have a huge impact on change. Therefore an efficient and effective development strategy is needed for millennial in enhancing the potential within them. For this reason, the purpose of this paper is to answer the question of the strategy of developing human resources for the millennial generation.

Abstract

Dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan kontribusi pendidik dilakukan dengan efektif dan berprilaku baik menjadikan sesuatu hal yang penting. Karena setiap pendidik harus mampu memperhatikan secara pasti mana yang menjadi tanggung jawab dan prioritas utamanya dalam rangka mencapai kinerjanya. Budaya organisasi dikatakan kuat apabila sumber daya pendidiknya memiliki nilai inti bersama seperti menjaga hubungan harmonis setiap pendidik. Semakin banyak nilai inti, semakin kuat budayanya, semakin besar pengaruhya terhadap perilaku organisasi dan mudah menjadi fasilitator bagi peningkatan mutu peserta didik dan madrasah. Selain budaya organisasi, kompensasi juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja pendidik secara baik dan maksimal. Kompensasi merupakan sesuatu yang diberikan kepada pendidik sebagai pengganti atas kontribusi jasa yang telah diberikan pendidik pada madrasah. Setiap pendidik dalam suatu madrasah berkeinginan untuk mendapatkan kompensasi yang adil dan layak sesuai dengan harapannya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya perhatian yang bersifat terus menerus terhadap pelaksanaan budaya organisasi dan kompensasi, agar pendidik tidak asal dalam menjalankan tugasnya dan pendidik selalu mempunyai ukuran produktif atas kinerjanya. Abstract

In the process of formal, non-formal and informal education, a teacher is a determining factor for his students success. Therefore, sufficient competence, skills in a variety of representative fields as well as quality-scientific specialization are essential capital that must be continuously improved in order to realize quality- education services for all students. So, all Educational Institutions including the Al-quran Course of Al-falah Mosque Institute are responsible for facilitating teachers developing to achieve their best quality by conducting intensive coaching as mandated by Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005. This research was conducted by using a descriptive qualitative approach, that the aim is knowing generally the quality of teachers, the variety and the realization of intensive coaching programmed twice every month with the conclusion that teachers coaching at the Alquran -Course Institute of Al-falah Mosque (LKF) is carried out continuously with high intensity and significant results.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the quality management developed at the madrasa diniyah is boarded in the muhammdiyah lamongan pesantren. In accordance with these problems, the objectives of this study are (1) how is the quality planning (2) how is the quality program implemented (3) How is quality monitoring and evaluation (4) how is the quality improvement action carried out by boarding muhammadyah lamongan boarding school. The research method uses qualitative methods, with the reason that the questions are open so that researchers can be flexible and can develop questions, because researchers want to describe and analyze the implementation of quality management in Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah dilamongan, Madrasah diniyah Islamic boarding schools in Muhammadiyah Lamongan, the results of the study show that there are several diniyah muhammdiyah Islamic boarding school program in lamongan has developed quality management starting from planning, implementation of monitoring and evaluation as well as follow-up of quality improvement which is very synergic between madrasa and Islamic boarding school so that the existence of madrasa diniyah and pondok pesantren continues to develop. Recommendations, this study recommends that madrash diniyah and lamuh muhammadyah Islamic boarding schools should continue to be quality teamwork in improving quality with structured roles and responsibilities, and become models that can be used as alternative concepts for quality management of madrasa diniyah. Abstract

Salah satu penyebab optimalisasi pengembangan lembaga pendidikan adalah strategic Planning. Proses ini mengawali seluruh rangkaian aksi pembentukan dan mengembagan organisasi. Cita-cita, tujuan dan garis-garis besar pengembangan organisasi menjadi produk utama dari perencanaan strategi. Proses ini dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran masa depan organisasi dengan memperhitungkan kondisi masa kini. Dalam diskursus manajemen strategi, proses ini istilahkan dengan formulasi strategi. Secara fungsional, formulasi strategi dapat menjadi branding institution yang pada saatnya akan menjadi daya tarik dan perangkat utama dalam memenangkan persaingan secara lebih terukur. Penggunaan strategic planning dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan masih cenderung sebatas fungsi administratif dan tidak menjadi pedoman implementasi organisasi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh paradigma bahwa secara teori, manajemen strategi jauh dari nilai-nilai yang di anut dalam lembaga pendidikan. Dimana, lembaga pendidikan merupakan organisasi yang memiliki falsafah yang berbeda dengan industri. Atas dasar inilah, konstruksi perencanaan strategi dalam lembaga pendidikan perlu diliputi dan di warnai nilai-nilai yang relevan dengan konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini secara spesifik dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana lembaga pendidikan dikelola dengan nilai dan prinsip-prinsip yang berbasis pada kearifan institusional. Dimana, penelitian dilakukan di dua universitas yang sama-sama memiliki basis nilai yang berbeda. Namun demikian, secara proses masih memiliki titik kesamaan. Titik kesamaan inilah yang diabstraksikan menjadik prinsip dan nilai-nilai yang dapat dianut oleh seluruh lembaga yang hendak mengembangkan pendidikan berbasis nilai. Dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah temuan bahwa, formulasi strategi atau perencanaan strategi memiliki tiga proses, yaitu Analisis eksternal-internal dan analisis sumber-sumber ideologi, Penetapan Visi-misi dan Kebijakan Strategi. Masing-masing proses dan tahapan tersebut memiliki tata nilai yang harus di atas dan menjadi pedoman pengembangan lembaga. Penelitian ini juga menemukan tata nilai yang secara filosofis menjadi dasar pengembangan, tetapi selain itu juga terdapat beberapa nilai terapan yang secara teknis dalam mengilhami proses perencanaan strategi.
