Abstract

The potential for collecting alms funds in Indonesia is very large, the trend of increasing the collection of Zakat Infaq Alms (ZIS) funds until 2019, as well as the increasing trend of collecting donations through digital crowdfunding platforms. In fact, the potential for collecting ZIS is only 4.91% of the existing potential, besides that there are still many donations from crowdfunding platforms that have not yet reached the target, then millennials as the majority generation and close to technology in the digital era 4.0, are faced with the choice of giving traditional or traditional charity. through a crowdfunding platform. The research analyzes the preferences of millennial Muslims in giving charity on the crowdfunding platform. The population in this research, millennial Muslims in Semarang City. The sampling technique of non-probability sampling is purposive sampling, taking this samples from populations that must have certain requirements. Sampling of data was done by distributing questionnaires to 384 millennial Muslim respondents in the city of Semarang. The research method uses binary logistic regression analysis. The results of the research simultaneously show the influence of millennial Muslim decisions to give alms on the crowdfunding platform. Partially there is a positive and significant influence on the motivational variables of religiosity, effort expectancy, sense of trust, social influence, and lifestyle on the decision of millennial Muslims to give alms on the crowdfunding platform. The income variable has no effect on the decision of millennial Muslims to give alms on the crowdfunding platform.

Abstract

Retail is classified as one of the growing industry in Indonesia, but currently it is experiencing a decline in visitors that resulting in the decrease of sales. Retailers or store owners need to find various ways to increase the number of visitors, which can be stimulated by store atmosphere and social factor to create positive emotions that can impact the customer’s purchase decision. Therefore, the study aims to examine the effect of store atmosphere and social factor towards emotional response and its impact to purchase decision. It uses SPSS to test the result of the research. In addition, this study uses non-probability sampling method with the total of 120 respondents who ever visited and shopped at baby equipment retail store at ITC Mangga Dua. The research hypothesis proves that store atmosphere and social factor have no effect and are not individually significant to emotional response, while emotional response individually have significant influence towards customers’ purchase decision. Meanwhile, store atmosphere and social factor through emotional response simultaneously and significantly influence customers’ purchasing decision.

Abstract

Sharia Banking is an institution that functions to collect and channel public funds effectively and efficiently which is useful for improving economic and national quality. The problem that occurs is that the development of Islamic banks is growing, the competition between banks, both conventional banks and Islamic banks, will be increasingly tight. Therefore, the need for efforts from banks to attract customers' savings. The main success of the services provided by banks is not only from internal factors but also external factors. Internal factors include the amount of funds owned by banks and credit, while external factors include the level of trust and bank image. This research aims to analyze and prove that religiosity and perception affect the interest in saving in Islamic banks. The approach used is a quantitative approach using primary and secondary data. The population of this research is the customers of BSI KCP Mojokerto Bangsal as many as 700 customers and the sample obtained is 161 respondents. This sampling uses the Cochran table formula with the respondents' criteria, namely BSI KCP Bangsal customers and aged 17-50 years. Analysis of the data used is SPSS 22 software. This research is survey research conducted through data collection using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results show that the religiosity variable has an influence on interest in saving in Islamic banks with a value of 32.860 > 1.960, while the perception variable has an influence on interest in saving in Islamic banks because the value is 21.954 > 1.960. From these results, Islamic banks have opportunities to improve performance and events that are useful for explaining Islamic bank products to customers.

Abstract

The presence of Covid-19 has hit the community's economy. Banyuwangi as a regency that relies on the tourism sector as an economic driver has felt the impact. It resulted in the economic shock of the people of Banyuwangi. Muhammadiyah as one of the largest religious organizations in Indonesia plays an active role in community economic empowerment activities. Covid-19 also gave rise to a social response in the form of the Waste Infaq Movement (G-INFASA) from the Muhammadiyah Youth of Kalibaru Banyuwangi in the context of empowering the economy of the Kalibaru community. G-INFASA is a unique form of social response, there is a spirit of generosity and the spirit of developing Islamic philanthropy in achieving social welfare. The focus of research is the management of G-Infasa and the opportunities and challenges of G-INFASA in caring for the people's economy. The study aims to determine the role of the Muhammadiyah Kalibaru Banyuwangi Youth in empowering the Kalibaru community's economy through the development of Islamic philanthropy with waste as its asset. The method used is qualitative research with an Asset-Based Approach to Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), which in this case is waste. From the study, it was found that the management of G-INFASA in the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach is supported by several aspects, namely related to community asset mapping and financial circulation analysis.

Abstract

Responses and strategies for the enrichment of product marketing problems in business units at Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel (UINSA) Surabaya need to be done. It is reasonable to prepare considering that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a systemic impact on all sectors, including the economic and business sectors. Business units in universities as one of the sub-fields that need to be developed as incubation centers, and sources of income for universities are important to maintain stable performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the identification of internal and external conditions. The research used is qualitative, with a descriptive strategy and SWOT analysis as an analytical tool. Informants from this study came from internal and external institutions, such as the daily board (BPH), employees, and customers. Validation of data using in-depth interviews, in order to obtain the accuracy and validity of data and information. The results indicate that the internal and external SWOT analysis is located in quadrant 1, (0.026; 0.063), which shows the results that these coordinates place the company in a position that supports an aggressive strategy. A strategy that prioritizes sales focus and strengthens internal management. Then from an institutional managerial point of view, PUSBIS in its current condition also has fairly solid teamwork, protecting all members of the extended family by carrying out reading routines, daily financial evaluations, self-development training, and compensation for improving performance. Research suggestions that are in accordance with the results of the study are increasing sales skills, utilizing social media, marketplaces, and involving websites to launch and sell products. It is considered important and necessary in the midst of a pandemic that is still not over, to capture the normal potential of buyers from outside the campus.

Abstract

The photography industry is part of the creative economy, especially the process of determining the selling price of a product is the main focus of photographers in setting product prices. The study aims to determine the effect of value, profit, and cost on the practice of setting the selling price of products in the commercial photography business. It uses a qualitative approach with a netnographic method. The results of the study show that the determination of the selling price can be based on values ​​and culture, as well as the philosophy of thought that exists in society, where a phase in business is not always about profit, but more than that. It means that the profession is not only talking about profits, but how the profession is lived, enjoyed.

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has caused disruption in all sectors, including the economic sector. One of the economic sectors currently in the spotlight is the declining per capita income, while consumption must continue to run to meet daily life. The study aims to identify the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the aspects of consumption, cash flow management, saving, investment, and credit management. In addition, it measures whether there are differences in the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and after the covid-19 pandemic, so that it can be a reference for what form of financial behavior should be. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is certainly a force majeure situation that can occur anytime and anywhere. Even though there are still many other force majeure events that can occur. It is a quantitative approach, with a statistically correlated parametric test (t test), if the data is not normal, then the Wilcoxon test is carried out. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were significant differences between the financial behavior of Muhammadiyah people in Medan before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to prove the concept of Islamic Green Banking in the banking system in Indonesia, precisely at the Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) bank and to proves that CSR, Green Accounting, Growth Financing, NPF, Liability on Green Banking have a simultaneous and partial test effect on Green Banking. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, using secondary data from the bank's Annual Report from 2015-2020 at PT. BPD Aceh Syariah, PT. BPD Sumatera Utara, PT. BPD Jambi, PT. BPD. Nagari, PT. BPD. Riau and Kepulauan Riau, PT. BPD Sumatera Selatan and Bangka Belitung. The results of the study prove that the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Growth Financing, Green Accounting, NPF variable have an effect on Green Banking except for Liability variable which shown negative result on Green Banking and this study is that the application of Green Banking is a pattern that can be implemented by the BPD through digitizing online services.

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia has an impact on all sectors, and one sector that is currently experiencing a significant impact is the economic sector. Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), is an A-accredited private campus, which now still provides fixed salaries and incentives, there is no reduction even though the spread of covid has an impact on all sectors. Many private campuses in Medan City have reduced the salaries of their employees, and even removed some incentives to reduce the budget used, but not for UMSU which still provides obligations and other incentives. In this case, it means that the welfare of Muhammadiyah University employees is still being considered by the leadership stakeholders, but from the observations made, researchers see a decrease in infaq obtained by LAZISMU Medan City. Therefore, the researchers want to see the relationship between the spread of the Covid-19 virus and the philanthropy embraced by employees of UMSU. The Islamic philanthropy is in form of infaq and alms. The research is descriptive qualitative research, which the results obtained will be described or narrated in accordance with the rules of qualitative research. From the results obtained, that there was a shift in Islamic philanthropy carried out by UMSU employees, this happened only a few months after the outbreak of Covid-19 which spread in the city of Medan.

Abstract

Digitalization is a process of moving a business model that was originally used manually toward digital. While digital marketing or digital marketing is a form of business promoting and marketing a brand or brands using digital media such as the internet. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of digital marketing in post-pandemic Pamekasan Regency SMEs. This research method uses descriptive quantitative analysis with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were Pamekasan Regency MSMEs engaged in the food and beverage sector with a total sample of 45 MSMEs. The data analysis process uses editing, coding, tabulation, and data analysis.
