The future of banking is largely determined by the management capabilities of Islamic banking and facing the rapid changes that are happening at this time. The rapid pace of information and technology as well as financial innovation has made the financial sector where Islamic banking takes shelter increasingly complex, dynamic, and competitive. This condition has the potential to increase risks to Islamic banking where all these risks absolutely must be managed. Islamic banks should start to manage such risks as reputation risk, for example. Reputation risk is the risk due to decreased stakeholder trust originating from negative perceptions of the bank. The impact of reputation risk events generally causes non-financial losses for the bank. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the implementation of reputation risk management of Islamic banks on employees. The research method of this journal is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach from the data using collected three methods, namely, direct interview observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the role of implementing risk management in North Sumatra companies or banks is very important because in reputation risk there must be control in the company by increasing compliance with applicable regulations in order to control reputation risk. Companies must also anticipate complaints from customers and lawsuits.

Overall, there are 200 coffee shop owners and managers involved in this research activity. The structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method was adopted as software to assist in testing models and hypotheses. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analyzed 200 questionnaires. The findings from this study are that good coffee shop company performance can be achieved through innovation capabilities, human resource capabilities, and competitive advantage. So, this can be used as input for related company managers to be able to get their best performance in the post-pandemic period. The results of the Goodness of fit full model SEM test still show a marginal value, namely the AGFI value (0.884) which is < the cut-off value. This study also provides several suggestions for future research development. The findings contribute to practical managerial implications by providing practitioners with some insights regarding innovation capability, human resource capability, competitive advantage, and company performance. This study explains the effect of Innovation Capability and Human Resource Capability on Company Performance both directly and through an intervening variable, namely Competitive Advantage. The conceptual model of this research was tested on coffee shop samples in Semarang.

This study aims to determine the efficiency level of the North Sumatra National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in managing zakat funds for the period 2018 to 2022 using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with a production approach. The research method uses non-parametric quantitative and collects data by means of documentation. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial report data from BAZNAS North Sumatra for the period 2018 to 2022. There are two variables in this study, namely input and output variables. The input variables used are accumulated funds, fixed assets, managed assets, and amiil salaries. While the output variable consists of channeled funds and operational costs. This study uses 2 assumptions, namely Constant Return To Scale (CRS) and Variable Return to Scale (VRS). Based on the results of research conducted using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, it was found that BAZNAS North Sumatra managed zakat for the 2018 to 2022 period: In 2018, 2019, and 2020 there were inefficiencies. that is, with numbers 90.29% (2018), 77.37% (2019), and 64.49% (2020). Inefficiency occurs because the actual value is not equal to the target value set by the DEA. Meanwhile, in 2021 and 2022 BAZNAS North Sumatra will be efficient. Because the actual value is the same as the target value determined by the DEA.
