Abstract

This research investigates the influence of product quality, social media marketing, and price perception on consumers' intention to purchase electric vehicles, with brand awareness serving as a mediating factor. Conducted in Bogor City, the study employed a quantitative method involving 385 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using SEM-LISREL 8.80. The findings reveal that product quality has a significant impact on both brand awareness (t = 3.48) and purchase intention (t = 3.61). Social media marketing also significantly influences brand awareness (t = 2.02) and purchase intention (t = 4.24), while price perception affects brand awareness (t = 2.36) and purchase intention (t = 3.44). Furthermore, brand awareness mediates the relationship between these variables and purchase intention (t = 4.20). The findings indicate that social media marketing is the most dominant factor affecting purchase intention, highlighting the importance of developing intensive and interactive digital marketing strategies. Practically, companies should focus on enhancing brand awareness and building positive consumer perceptions through social media, supported by high-quality products and competitive pricing, to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in Bogor.

Abstract

The global halal economy sector is experiencing rapid growth with market capitalization reaching US$2.4 trillion by 2022, with 60% of halal product purchases made by non-Muslim consumers who consider halal certification as an indicator of superior quality. In Indonesia, the transformation of Muslim consumer behavior shows that the halal label is no longer the sole factor in purchasing decisions, but rather combined with product quality considerations, especially in the more selective millennial and Z generations. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal labeling and product quality on purchasing decisions at Otaku Coffee, a Japanese popular culture-themed cafe business that has never been studied before in the context of a combination of religious identity and foreign pop culture preferences. The benefits of this research are to provide a new understanding of consumer behavior in the international culture-themed food and beverage industry and to fill the void in the literature regarding the unique dynamics between halal and quality aspects in a Japanese cultural cafe business setting. The research method uses a quantitative approach with an analytical descriptive design through multiple regression analysis techniques. The research population is all consumers who buy food and beverage products at Otaku Coffee Kuningan Regency, with purposive sampling technique and a sample size of 100 respondents determined using the Lameshow formula with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 10%. The results showed that the halal label (X1) and product quality (X2) partially and simultaneously had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y) with a calculated F value of 187.024 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05, and a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square of 0.794 or 79.4%, confirming that the two independent variables were able to explain the variation in purchasing decisions very well.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of company size, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership on company value in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021–2024. In this study, the value of the company is expressed in the form of a Price to Book Value (PBV) ratio. The approach used is quantitative with the type of associative research. The selection of samples was carried out purposively and resulted in 80 companies as research objects. The test results showed that the three independent variables, either individually or together, did not have a significant influence on the company's value. This is evidenced by the significance value of the F test of 0.418 and the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.036, which indicates that the model is only able to explain 3.6% of the total variation in the company's value. These findings indicate that the internal factors studied have not been able to explain the change in company values substantially, so exploration of other variables in follow-up studies is needed to gain a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Using employee engagement as an intermediary variable, this quantitative study examines the effect of work-life balance and work environment on job satisfaction among mall employees in Makassar. The validity, reliability, and causal linkages between variables were examined in this study using the SmartPLS program version 4.0. Employee involvement acted as a mediator between work-life balance, work environment, and job satisfaction, according to the results. employment satisfaction is enhanced when there is a good work-life balance, less work pressure, employment stability, and a pleasant and supportive work environment. While a healthy work-life balance is still important, high employee engagement has a smaller but favourable impact on job satisfaction. If mall management wants their employees to be happy in their jobs, they need to make sure they have a healthy work-life balance, create a positive work atmosphere, and encourage employee engagement. Furthermore, poll results show that employees are still not very satisfied with their jobs because of issues with work-life balance, the workplace, and employee engagement. Employees and a number of internal firm elements are both responsible for the current level of job satisfaction. The role of employee engagement as a moderating variable between work-life balance, work environment, and job satisfaction is further illuminated by this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of sustainability report disclosure and environmental performance on company financial performance. As environmental concerns and corporate social responsibility gain importance, companies are increasingly expected to demonstrate accountability through transparent reporting and sustainable practices. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual reports and sustainability reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial performance is measured using indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while environmental performance is assessed based on PROPER ratings. The findings indicate that both sustainability report disclosure and environmental performance have a significant and positive impact on the financial performance of companies. This suggests that companies that are more transparent in disclosing sustainability practices and perform well environmentally tend to gain higher trust from stakeholders, which contributes to improved financial outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial impact of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on the stock price performance of state-owned banks (SOEs) in Indonesia during the 2015–2024 period. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on secondary data from the financial statements of four SOEs listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a negative but insignificant effect on stock prices, indicating that liquidity efficiency does not directly influence investor assessments of bank performance. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) has a significant negative effect, suggesting that a higher interest margin may reflect increased credit risk or reduced competitiveness, which is perceived negatively by the market. Meanwhile, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a significant positive effect, demonstrating that stronger capital adequacy increases investor confidence and supports higher stock valuations. These findings imply that not all financial ratios consistently affect stock prices and that investor perceptions depend on broader market conditions and bank-specific strategies.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of financial technology, especially in fintech payment systems, has significantly shaped the financial behavior of millennials in Pontianak City—an age group that dominates the productive population and actively engages in digital financial services. This study investigates the impact of financial literacy, locus of control, and fintech payments on the personal financial management of employed millennials in Pontianak City. Using a quantitative approach with an associative research design, data were gathered through questionnaires administered to 150 purposively selected respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that financial literacy, locus of control, and fintech payments collectively have a significant influence on personal financial management (F = 46.718; p = 0.000). In partial testing, financial literacy (t = 4.878; p = 0.000) and locus of control (t = 5.288; p = 0.000) exhibit positive and significant effects, while fintech payments show no significant impact (t = 1.333; p = 0.185). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.493, indicating that 49.3% of the variation in personal financial management can be explained by these three variables. These results underscore the crucial role of enhancing financial literacy and reinforcing self-control to promote sound financial management among millennials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Muslim consumer awareness of Sharia contracts in financial transactions, their perceptions of Islamic Home Ownership Credit (KPR) products, and the strategies implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in addressing the challenges of Sharia-compliant mortgage implementation. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method, data were collected from various academic sources, official reports, and publications from financial institutions and government agencies. The findings indicate that the level of Sharia financial literacy among the public remains low, resulting in limited understanding of contract principles such as murabahah, istisna’, ijarah muntahiya bit tamlik, and musharakah mutanaqisah. Consumer perceptions also reveal doubts regarding the implementation of contracts, which are often viewed as deviating from Sharia principles. Meanwhile, BSI's strategies focus on institutional consolidation, expanding financial literacy, and offering competitive products to build trust and enhance Sharia financial inclusion. This study recommends increasing public education and ensuring transparency in contracts to strengthen public trust in Sharia-compliant mortgage products.
