Abstract

The digitalization of the tax system represents a strategic initiative by the government to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of tax management. A key innovation in this effort is the implementation of the Coretax system, which modernizes tax administration through information technology in areas such as tax reporting, payments, and oversight. This study aims to examine how the Coretax system contributes to the success of tax management in Indonesia and to identify the opportunities and challenges associated with its implementation in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative approach using literature review methods, analyzing secondary data sourced from scientific journals, official reports from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), and academic publications and policies related to tax digitalization. Through thematic analysis, the study describes the impacts, benefits, and challenges experienced in the application of the Coretax system. The findings indicate that Coretax improves the accuracy and efficiency of tax administration, strengthens fiscal oversight, and increases transparency within the Tax Information System. However, several implementation challenges persist, including issues related to digital literacy, technological infrastructure, human resource capacity, and data security risks, all of which require proactive management. To ensure the optimal implementation of Coretax and support a modern, transparent, and accountable public taxation system in Indonesia, integrated and harmonized policies are essential.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support on the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision within the BPKP environment, with Leadership Transformation as a moderating variable. The dynamic nature of change and the high demands for adaptation in realizing the national development vision place BPKP in a strategic position. However, the success of this adaptation heavily depends on individual readiness and organizational support. This study examines how employees' readiness to face change and their perceptions of organizational support can drive the achievement of these long-term goals. Furthermore, Leadership Transformation characterized by the ability to inspire, drive change, and align team efforts with organizational vision—is hypothesized to strengthen or weaken the relationship between Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support with the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision. A quantitative approach using surveys will be employed to collect data from BPKP employees. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the study indicate that Organizational Commitment and Perceived Organizational Support have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of transformation towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision. Moreover, Leadership Transformation has been proven to strengthen the influence of these independent variables, meaning that high levels of commitment and support, combined with transformational leadership qualities, will enhance BPKP's success in achieving the goals of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

This study explores the Islamic investment paradigm among Muslim Generation Z on Madura Island using a Grounded Theory approach. The purpose of this study is to reveal how young Muslims develop their understanding and practice of Islamic finance amid the influences of religiosity, local culture, and economic digitalization. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 20 Muslim Gen Z participants selected using purposive and theoretical sampling techniques. Analysis was conducted through the stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding based on the Strauss and Corbin model. The results of the study reveal three main paradigms in the interpretation of Islamic investment: (1) the Initial Paradigm, which emphasizes moral compliance and religious authority; (2) the Adaptive Paradigm, which demonstrates the integration of Islamic values and modern economic rationality; and (3) the Innovative Paradigm, which reflects the creative application of sharia principles for sustainability and social welfare. These three paradigms converge in the core concept of Constructive Adaptive Literacy, which describes the dynamic process of Gen Z Muslims in interpreting, adapting, and innovating Islamic financial values according to the social and digital context. Theoretically, this research enriches the study of Sharia financial literacy rooted in cultural religiosity, while practically providing direction for the development of Islamic financial education relevant to the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through the strengthening of organizational culture, transformational leadership, and work motivation at the Soekarno-Hatta Type C Main Customs and Excise Service Office. The research method used is a quantitative approach using a survey method. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The population in this study consists of operational inspection employees, including functional Customs and Excise inspectors who are civil servants (ASN) within the Soekarno-Hatta Type C Main Customs and Excise Office, with a sample size of 138 respondents using the Probability Sampling technique. The results of the study show that organizational culture has a direct, positive, and significant effect on work motivation but does not have a significant effect on OCB. Transformational leadership has a direct, positive, and significant effect on both work motivation and OCB. Work motivation has a direct, positive, and significant effect on OCB. In addition, it was found that work motivation significantly mediates the relationship between organizational culture and OCB as well as between transformational leadership and OCB, although its effectiveness is lower compared to the direct effect of transformational leadership on OCB. These findings affirm that strengthening organizational culture and transformational leadership can enhance work motivation, which ultimately has a positive impact on improving employees' OCB. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a foundation for designing organizational policies to promote proactive and collaborative work behavior within the Customs and Excise environment.

Abstract

Generation Z is the next generation of the nation and they will be the ones to take over the industrial world. It is known that generation Z has twice the tendency to experience psychological stress compared to other generations. High workload often makes individuals tend to have the intention to leave the company. Workload can lead to work stress experienced by individuals. Work stress can have several impacts on the organization including the employee concerned not coming to work and leaving the organization. The existence of social support in an organization is expected to help minimize all the pressure felt by generation Z employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of workload on work exit intention in generation Z employees mediated by work stress and moderated by social support. The characteristics of participants in this study are generation Z, aged 18 to 27 years, have a minimum work experience of six months totaling 254 people. This study uses the Turnover Intention Scale measuring instrument from Mobley et al. (1978), National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) from Hart and Staveland (1988), Job Stress Scale (JSS) from Parker & Decotiss (1983), and Multidimentional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) from Dahlem et al. (1991). The results of this study indicate that workload has a significant influence on work performance. The results of this study indicate that workload has an influence on intention to work with a value of R2 = 0.428. Then, job stress is proven to mediate between workload and intention to leave. Finally, social support is proven not to moderate between workload and intention to leave.

Abstract

Innovations in technology have far-reaching effects on many parts of society, including advertising and public relations. To reach customers and promote their wares, more and more businesses are relying on online media like social networking. Advertising on social media, particularly on TikTok, is efficient due to the platform's massive user base. With 127.5 million users in Indonesia as of April 2024, TikTok is gaining popularity for increasing brand recognition and driving purchasing desire. The primary objective of this research is to identify the elements that local fashion brand consumers consider most important when making a purchasing decision. One hundred and seventy people from Surabaya's TikTok community who have seen Jiniso videos filled out surveys for this quantitative investigation. In this work, PLS-SEM is used to analyze the data. The research found that there is a substantial relationship between purchase intention and social media marketing, brand awareness, and brand attitude. There is a strong mediation effect of brand attitude and brand awareness on the relationship between social media marketing and intent to buy. According to this research, social media marketing on TikTok that is both entertaining and educational may increase customers' interest in buying the advertised product.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between work period length, transactional leadership style, and employee engagement with employee performance at Factory X. Employee performance serves as a key indicator of an organization's productivity and can be influenced by a variety of individual and managerial factors. Leadership styles are generally categorized into transformational and transactional. Transactional leadership emphasizes the exchange process between leaders and subordinates, relying on a system of rewards and punishments to motivate employees, which may affect their level of engagement and performance. Furthermore, the duration of an employee’s work period can reflect their experience and level of adjustment within the workplace. A quantitative approach is used in this study, employing surveys directed at employees of Factory X. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires, and the results are analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. These analyses aim to assess the relationship between the independent variables (work period length, transactional leadership, and employee engagement) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The findings of this study are intended to support corporate organizations in optimizing human resource management to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to provide new information about the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) on consumer decisions, especially on Azarine beauty products. The focus of this research analyze the extent to which the quantity and credibility of eWOM affect brand image and consumer purchase intention. To answer these objectives, the author used quantitative methods through an online survey involving 210 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results showed that eWOM quantity has a significant effect on eWOM credibility, brand image, and purchase intention. In addition, eWOM credibility is proven to have a positive impact on brand image and purchase intention. Brand image also acts as a strong mediating variable in shaping consumer purchase intention. The findings suggest that companies need to manage eWOM strategies more purposefully, especially by increasing the credibility of messages conveyed by consumers.
