Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of employee workload and its impact on well-being and performance at PT Jasa Raharja Purwokerto Branch. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation involving five informants from various job positions. The findings indicate that workload is driven by the high number of traffic accident cases, compounded by limited human resources and the continuous adaptation to evolving digital systems. These conditions lead to several consequences, including physical fatigue, work stress, and work-life imbalance, which ultimately affect employee performance. Although, in general, employees maintain optimal performance, one informant admitted that their performance occasionally declines due to time pressure and a high volume of work. Nevertheless, most employees continue to strive to maintain their performance by demonstrating discipline, responsibility, and strong commitment to delivering optimal public service. This study also highlights the importance of human resource management policies focused on employee well-being and workload distribution to ensure the quality of public services remains consistent.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution and relevance of accounting information in supporting decision making within technology sector firms characterized by high market volatility over the past decade. Adopting a systematic literature review (SLR) approach combined with bibliometric analysis, the study identifies key indicators discussed in the literature, including traditional GAAP based measures and non-financial metrics such as digital disclosures and intangible assets. The findings indicate that while traditional financial statements remain foundational, growing challenges arise from rapid market dynamics and global economic uncertainty, thereby driving the incorporation of non-financial data and digital technologies to enhance information relevance. These insights provide strategic implications for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in enriching the use of accounting information to support more accurate and adaptive decision-making in the digital era and volatile markets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of distributive justice and procedural justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with perceived organizational support (POS) as a moderator variable in private school teachers in Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 229 respondents, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4. The results of the study show that distributive justice, procedural justice, and POS have a significant positive effect on OCB. Among the variables of organizational justice, procedural justice has the most dominant influence. Furthermore, POS has been proven to moderate the relationship between procedural justice and OCB, but it is not significant in moderating the relationship between distributive justice and OCB. These findings confirm that organizational support plays an important role in strengthening teachers' perceptions of procedural fairness, thereby encouraging them to behave beyond their formal roles. The novelty of this study lies in the placement of POS as a moderator variable in the relationship between organizational justice and OCB, especially in the private education sector in Indonesia, which has received less attention in the literature. Theoretically, this study expands the understanding of the conditional factors that affect OCB. Practically, the results provide direction for private school managers to create a fair and supportive organizational climate to increase the positive contribution of teachers.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of workload and work pressure on the intention of change with employee welfare as a moderation variable in the context of the Indonesian banking sector. Using data from 110 employees at BNI KCU Fatmawati and analyzed through the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, the results revealed that workload (β = 0.542, p < 0.001) and work stress (β = 0.459, p < 0.001) significantly increased turnover intention. In contrast, employee well-being showed significant negative effects (β = -0.286, p < 0.001), suggesting that higher well-being reduced employee desire to leave the organization. In addition, employee well-being moderates the relationship between workload and work stress with turnover intentions, mitigating the negative effects of excessive demand. Theoretically, the study integrates the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) and Conservation of Resources (COR) frameworks, highlighting employee well-being as a buffer mechanism that protects individuals from work-related stressors. These findings contribute a new perspective by showing that well-being is not only a result of human resource management practices but also a strategic factor that reduces withdrawal behavior. Practically, organizations must prioritize welfare-based HR policies to balance the demands of human performance and sustainability in the digital banking era.
