Abstract

The Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) is known for its severe traffic congestion, which significantly impacts employees’ daily lives. Flexible Working Arrangement (FWA) has emerged as a potential solution to reduce commuting burdens and improve work efficiency. In addition to offering flexibility for employees, FWA benefits organizations by lowering operational costs such as office space and equipment. Globally, the adoption of FWA has increased, including in Indonesia, driven by digital transformation and post-pandemic work pattern shifts. However, the effectiveness of FWA on Job performance (JP) remains under scrutiny, as JP is a critical factor in achieving organizational goals. While FWA may help reduce Work-Family Conflict (WFC), some studies suggest it may also increase WFC due to blurred boundaries and dual roles. Supervisor support is therefore essential to ensure that FWA policies are implemented effectively and support employee performance. This study aims to examine the influence of FWA on JP, considering the mediating roles of WFC and Supervisor support, particularly in the Jabodetabek area. Data were collected from 244 employees who are eligible for FWA and live with their families. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that FWA has a positive and significant effect on JP, helping employees reduce stress and fatigue, thus working more effectively. Supervisor support partially mediates this relationship, while WFC does not. Managerial implications highlight the importance of consistent support from supervisors to foster a productive and harmonious work environment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of marketing literacy, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), social class, and brand awareness on Generation Z's purchase behavior with consumer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with a causal design, data were collected through structured questionnaires from 203 Generation Z respondents in Yogyakarta who are active shoppers of fashion products. Data analysis used Partial Least Squares (PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that the four independent variables have a positive and significant influence on purchase behavior with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.729. Brand awareness is the most dominant predictor (β = 0.369, p < 0.001), followed by marketing literacy (β = 0.303, p < 0.001), social class (β = 0.296, p < 0.001), and FOMO (β = 0.258, p < 0.001). Consumer satisfaction was proven to be a significant partial mediator with an R² of 0.683. These findings provide a theoretical contribution to the development of a Generation Z consumer behavior model and practical implications for fashion businesses in formulating effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work hour flexibility and work environment on employee productivity at the Department of Youth and Sports, Culture and Tourism of Labuhanbatu Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 81 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 24. The results show that both work hour flexibility and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, either partially or simultaneously. The coefficients of determination (R2) value of 0,202 indicates that 20,2% of the variation in employee productivity can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 79,8% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings suggest that implementing flexible working hours and fostering a supportive work environment significantly contribute to enhancing efficiency, motivation, and productivity among employees in public sector institutions.

Abstract

Companies and MSMEs must increase their capacity to make more adaptive and effective strategic and tactical decisions in response to developments in the digital world. This study examines how management accounting and management information systems (MIS) work together to make good business decisions in the digital age. The method used is a literature study, or literature review, conducted by searching for relevant scientific articles using a qualitative approach. The results of the review show that management accounting not only serves to record and control costs but also as a strategic tool that provides relevant, timely, and accurate information for decision makers. It has been proven that high-quality MIS can accelerate processes, improve data accuracy, reduce operational costs, and increase company competitiveness. The synergy between digital technology and management accounting enables more logical, effective, and responsive decision-making in response to changes in the business environment. However, its implementation is highly dependent on ready infrastructure, qualified human resources, and a supportive corporate culture. This study shows that digital transformation enhances the contribution of management accounting in strategic and tactical decisionmaking, although issues such as fear of change and system problems still need to be addressed.

Abstract

This study aims to identify strategies for increasing organizational commitment thru programs that strengthen perceived organizational support, job satisfaction, and work motivation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 93 respondents. The respondents are civil servants holding non-managerial positions at the Bogor City Environmental Agency. The data was processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research results indicate that perceived organizational support has a direct negative and insignificant impact on organizational commitment, but it has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction and work motivation as mediating variables. Perceived organizational support was found to indirectly influence organizational commitment thru job satisfaction. However, perceived organizational support was not found to indirectly influence organizational commitment thru work motivation. The findings of this study confirm that perceived organizational support does not directly increase organizational commitment, but plays an important role thru increased job satisfaction. Conversely, work motivation is not an effective mediating path, so job satisfaction emerges as the main mechanism explaining how perceived organizational support can strengthen employes' commitment to the organization

Abstract

This study aims to examines how digital literacy and environmental literacy influence greenwashing skepticism and perceptions of the credibility of ESG reports among Generation Z in the Greater Bandung area. This study applies a quantitative design using survey data from 267 respondents, which is examined through a Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The results show that digital literacy and environmental literacy significantly increase skepticism towards greenwashing, but have a negative impact on the perceived credibility of ESG reports. In addition, skepticism towards greenwashing has a negative impact on report credibility and serves as a mediator in the relationship between the two variables of competence and report credibility. This model meets all criteria related to reliability, validity, and appropriateness. These findings highlights the importance of media literacy and environmental literacy competencies in building critical understanding of sustainability.

Abstract

The main issue raised in this study is how the local economic wisdom of the community is influenced by cultural bonds and unique traditional values that are often overlooked in economic dynamics measurements, as well as how economic learning is implemented in Batu City. This study aims to explore the identity and dynamics of local wisdom within the community of Batu City, East Java, which reflects a balance between productive and normative elements. Using a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods, this research uncovers the meanings of identity and socio-economic dynamics through in-depth interviews and observations with several key informants. The findings indicate that the economic dynamics of Batu City’s community include elements rooted in agricultural activities, such as the principles of shared sustenance, labor as a form of indebtedness, sharecropping practices, and cultivating land and planting as sources of livelihood. In addition, the application of traditional values such as three-dimensional harmony also plays an important role in their economic life. Spiritual bonds, social solidarity, and harmony with nature serve as the main pillars shaping their local economic identity. The implication of this study highlights the need for culturally grounded policies to support the socio-economic dynamics of the community in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the roles of strategic management, management accounting, and Government Accounting Standards (SAP) in enhancing the performance of public sector organizations in Indonesia. The research employs a literature review approach by examining relevant national and international academic sources. The findings indicate that the implementation of strategic management strengthens policy effectiveness, cost efficiency, and public legitimacy. Management accounting plays a vital role in supporting data driven decision making, cost control, and performance based budgeting. Meanwhile, the adoption of accrual based SAP contributes to greater fiscal transparency, improved financial reporting quality, and stronger public accountability. However, the implementation of these three instruments continues to face challenges, including limited human resource capacity, bureaucratic resistance, and the suboptimal use of digital technologies. This study underscores that synergy among strategic management, management accounting, and SAP is essential for building transparent, efficient, and adaptive public governance that is responsive to societal needs.
