Abstract

This research aims to understand the extent to which taxation understanding, the level of tax system modernization, and attitudes toward money influence taxpayers' tendency to engage in tax evasion. This quantitative descriptive research method utilizes a data collection approach based on questionnaires distributed online via Google Forms to taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Cibitung. A total of 100 responses were obtained from the questionnaire distribution. Subsequently, the questionnaire data were analyzed using t-tests and multiple linear regression using SPSS version 26.0 to ascertain their impacts. This study reveals that taxation understanding, system modernization, and love of money attitudes positively influence tax evasion actions conducted by individual taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Cibitung. The tax authorities need to enhance education programs on the taxation system for taxpayers, focusing on understanding tax obligations and their consequences. Despite the modernization of the tax administration system, tax authorities need to continue innovating to improve its effectiveness. Further evaluation of the existing system may be necessary to identify areas that can be enhanced or improved. Additionally, introducing new features that can make tax evasion practices more difficult may also be necessary.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Audit Experience, Time Budget Pressure, and Risk of Error on the Quality of External Audits of West Jakarta Regional Public Accounting Firms. This research was carried out using quantitative methods. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from questionnaires of auditors in KAP in the West Jakarta region. This research analysis method uses questionnaire data. The research results show that auditor experience, time budget pressure, and risk of error positively affect external audit quality.

Abstract

Human resources are the main driving element in all company activities, therefore, serious attention needs to be paid to the workforce. This research aims to evaluate the impact of work discipline, work motivation, and human resource development on employee performance at the Cirebon City Small, Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry Cooperatives Service. The study population includes all employees in the Department, namely 56 people, all of whom were taken as samples. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out through multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression, T-test, F test, and coefficient of determination using SPSS version 29 for Windows software. The research results show that in partial testing, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The calculated value for the work discipline variable (X1) reached 4.834. This value exceeds the ttable value of 2.015, and significance (sig) has a value of 0.00 < 0.05. Thus, the hypothesis can be accepted, indicating that the work discipline variable (X1) has a significant influence on employee performance (Y). The t-count value of the human resource development variable (X3) is -0.772 < t table value, namely 2.015, and the sig value is 0.44 > 0.05, so the hypothesis is rejected. This means that the human resource development variable (X3) does not have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Based on the results of the calculated F value of 17.859 > F table value of 2.89 and the sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, H4 is accepted. This means that the variables of work discipline, and work motivation affect employee performance, while human resource development has no significant effect on employee performance in the Cirebon City Trade and Industry Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises department.

Abstract

Human Resource Development (HRD) is very important to improve and maintain employees so that they become reliable resources for the organization. This thesis discusses human resource development at KSU Pelita Agribusiness, which must be carried out continuously and adapted to changes in the company's internal and external environment. The aim is to prepare human resources to be ready to face business developments and uncertainties quickly and flexibly so that an appropriate and targeted HR development strategy is needed. This research involved 4 people from KSU Pelita Agribusiness as well as 3 practitioners, academics, and the Cianjur Regency Cooperative Service. Initial data was obtained through SWOT analysis which resulted in four alternative strategies: recruitment of professional human resources and appropriate employee training, implementation of company SOPs and special training according to SOPs, clear and consistent implementation of SOPs, and HR rotation through re-interviews or fit and proper tests. AHP analysis shows that strategic priorities that can be implemented by KSU Pelita Agribusiness are providing training, motivation, and performance improvement (value: 0.570), rotating HR (value: 0.180), implementing company SOPs (value: 0.177), recruiting HR (value: 0.073).

Abstract

The Tegal District Health Service is responsible for health matters but experiences yearly fluctuations in employee performance. This research aims to evaluate the condition of the physical work environment, work discipline, and employee performance and examine the influence of these two factors on employee performance. Using a descriptive approach with quantitative data, this research involved 101 employee respondents through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The results show that the physical working environment is considered conducive (80.6%), work discipline is very disciplined (86.2%), and employee performance is good (80.9%). The physical work environment does not have a significant effect on employee performance, while work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, both factors have a substantial impact on employee performance. These findings are useful for academics and the Tegal District Health Service to improve employee performance through improving the physical work environment and work discipline. Further research is expected to develop new variables and methods for broader results.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, competence, and placement on the job satisfaction of employees of the East Java Province Pamong Praja Police Unit. This type of research is quantitative research. The object of this research is the employees of the East Java Province Civil Service Police Unit. The sample in this research was 83 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis process is assisted by the SmartPLS software program. The result of this research indicates that transformational leadership contributes to job satisfaction, competence does not contribute to job satisfaction and placement contributes to the job satisfaction of employees of the East Java Province Civil Service Police Unit. Overall, transformational leadership, competence, and placement variables together have an influence of 78.1% on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze and study the factors that can influence the return of BNI people's business credit (KUR) in Taman Sari District, West Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews with 9 informants. Data analysis techniques use data triangulation to reveal the facts of the research objectives. The research results show that the factors that influence KUR returns are financial management which is the main basis for continuity consisting of managing income, expenses, and debt wisely, economic conditions consisting of business growth and opportunities for borrowers to increase income, customer risk perceptions influence take a KUR loan because they have an understanding of business risks and business security which includes physical protection, security and legal compliance. The research recommendation is to build a more in-depth risk assessment model by considering factors such as age, length of business, and gender to provide a more accurate picture of potential credit risk. Develop special programs to support groups that tend to experience difficulties in repayment, such as groups with low levels of education or groups with low income levels. Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of this policy to assess its effectiveness and make changes if necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing strategies implemented by the Growth and Development Clinic at RSI PKU Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that effective marketing strategies involve a combination of digital promotion, community relations, and service quality improvement. These findings provide valuable insights for the development of marketing strategies in the healthcare sector, particularly in the context of child development clinics.

Abstract

In this era of digitalization, service science plays a vital role as a support for the successful implementation of the tri dharma of higher education in education, this can be done by developing innovations in terms of e-service quality using chatbots. The purpose of this research is to develop academic services for the UPN "Veteran" East Java Management undergraduate program through e-service quality innovation using chatbots. To determine satisfaction, measurements use the attributes of e-service quality, chatbot, and satisfaction. This research method uses descriptive quantitative through the measurements used are Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The sample in this study used was non-probability with a purposive sampling method. The results obtained in this study indicate that the level of student satisfaction is at a value of 76% which is included in the satisfied criteria. Of the 13 attributes used, only 2 attributes are in accordance with student expectations, namely the attributes of natural language understanding and willingness to recommend.

Abstract

In today's digital era, skilled leadership plays a crucial role in the utilization of information technology. This is in line with the role of human resource management in organizing government operations and public services to run efficiently, especially in the era of digital government. This qualitative study with content analysis reveals the role of leadership in human resource management applied in digital government. The findings of this research are as follows: first, leadership acts as a counselor for government digitalization; second, it serves as an instructor in implementing digital-based public services; third, leaders lead meetings and make decisions using digital technology; and fourth, leadership plays a role in delegating authority using technology and information.
