Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of muzaki trust on the use of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a means of paying zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (Instant) at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of North Sumatra Province. Muzaki trust is an important factor in determining the success of digital technology implementation in zakat management, especially in the era of digital transformation that demands transparency, convenience, and transaction security. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey and questionnaire methods involving 86 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to examine the effect of trust dimensions, including integrity, competence, and reliability of digital systems, on muzaki's interest and decision in using QRIS. The results showed that muzaki trust significantly positively influences the use of QRIS as a payment method for Istan. These findings suggest that increasing muzaki trust through education, system transparency, and better digital services can strengthen the acceptance of digital payment technology within zakat institutions. This research is expected to be a reference for BAZNAS and other zakat management institutions in developing a more effective and trustworthy zakat digitization strategy.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of inflation, Bank Indonesia (BI) rate, and profit-sharing rate on non-performing financing (NPF) in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Grounded in signaling theory, the research aims to identify how macroeconomic and internal banking factors influence the quality of Islamic banking assets. Using a quantitative approach, secondary data from eight Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during the 2019–2023 period were analyzed. The study employed multiple linear regression analysis and classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that inflation and BI rate have no significant effect on NPF due to the unique profit-sharing scheme in Islamic banks that adjusts to the profitability of customers' businesses. Conversely, the profit-sharing rate has a significant positive effect on NPF, suggesting that increases in the profit-sharing burden can heighten the risk of customer defaults. The findings underscore the distinct operational nature of Islamic banks and the necessity to monitor internal profit-sharing mechanisms more closely to manage financing risks effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of social media marketing, price discounts, and online customer reviews on the purchase intention of Skintific products on Shopee Live. This study uses a quantitative approach with sample selection using purposive and non-probability sampling techniques. Data were collected using an online questionnaire, namely Google Forms. Based on 250 data points successfully collected, the data was then processed using SmartPLS 4th. By using SmartPLS analysis, the results of the outer loading analysis show that all variables used in this study, such as social media marketing, price discounts, online customer reviews, and purchase intentions, are declared to meet the validity and reliability test criteria (Cronbach's Alpha> 0.05). When a study is declared to have passed the outer loading test, it can be continued to the inner model test stage to determine the influence given by exogenous variables on endogenous variables. Through the inner model test, it can be seen that all variables have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

Fiscal decentralization highlights the importance of central government transfers, which aim to reduce income disparities and promote regional development. The effectiveness of these transfers depends on the ability of local governments to manage and allocate funds according to the needs of the community. The purpose of this study is to analyze and highlight several articles published on financial management policies for transfers to regions and villages, regional revenue and expenditure budgets, and special autonomy. The methods used include a literature review to determine how well financial management policies work and their impact on fiscal autonomy, by looking at regions with and without special autonomy. Selected articles published in the last 10 years (2019-2024) were used to ensure relevance to the current policy context. All these results highlight the importance of financial management policies in supporting regional autonomy and growth, particularly through good governance and effective resource allocation. This study concludes that the efficient implementation of policies is key to ensuring that local governments can manage allocated finances and align them with regional development objectives. This is important for promoting local autonomy and achieving sustainable economic growth. These impacts highlight the importance of financial management policies in determining local autonomy and growth, emphasizing the need for well-planned policy formulation and implementation.

Abstract

Plagiarism is a major challenge to maintaining academic integrity in higher education. Three different approaches - culture, professional ethics, and communication psychology offer complementary insights to understand and address this phenomenon. This article reviews three key studies: Fatemi & Saito (2019), who highlighted unintentional plagiarism among international students; Jiang et al. (2013), who examined integrity and risk factors in the health sciences; and Brown et al. (2019), who discussed metaphorical framing in shaping students' perceptions of plagiarism. Based on this synthesis, this article proposes an integrative strategy based on cross-cultural education, the establishment of a professional code of ethics, and the constructive use of metaphors in academic communication.

Abstract

In principle, it can be seen that the granting of land rights is based on the allocation of space in accordance with the spatial plan. In its development, there are still legal phenomena in the form of violations of spatial planning. The law explicitly stipulates that the granting of land rights must be based on the use of space, including in the certification process of Regional Property as an asset security activity. Currently, the Malang City Government is actively implementing a BMD certification program in the form of land in the Malang City Area. The certification of regional government asset land is certainly not carried out without obstacles. Normatively based on the provisions of Article 115 letter c of the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Determining Management Rights and Land Rights, the Malang City Government is required to attach the requirements for the Conformity of Spatial Utilization Activities document so that the Regional Government in the process of implementing the certification of Regional Property does not carry out potential activities that can result in violations of spatial planning. However, based on the survey that the author has conducted, it is known that it seems that the fulfillment of the KKPR document cannot be carried out following the legal mandate. Moreover, it is known that many of the assets of the Malang city government are settlements utilized by the community. Therefore, further study is needed regarding the obstacles and barriers to fulfilling the suitability of spatial utilization activities (KKPR) in the certification of land owned by the Malang city government.

Abstract

Investment is an investment activity that is increasingly in demand by the public, especially generation Z. The number of investors in the Indonesian capital market continues to increase, reaching 13 million based on SID at KSEI, with the addition of more than 863 thousand new investors by 2024. The Financial Services Authority and the Indonesia Stock Exchange are working to increase the number of Investment Galleries to support public interest, especially students. Generation Z dominates the capital market, with 57.04% of individual investors under the age of 30. Generation Z's investment interest is influenced by financial literacy and technological advances that facilitate access to information and investment transactions. Digital technology allows investments to be made efficiently without disrupting main activities. Despite the ease of investing, many investors still fail due to a lack of understanding and clear financial goals. Investment motivation in Indonesia is still low due to the lack of financial literacy. In addition, low minimum capital is a motivating factor for students to start investing, especially in stocks at affordable prices. With the characteristics of generation Z who are tech-savvy and like to try new things, investing in the capital market is a great opportunity for them to get long-term benefits. This study aims to determine and analyze knowledge, technological progress, motivation and minimum capital on generation Z's investment interest in the capital market. This research uses quantitative research methods. The results of this study are knowledge, motivation, minimum capital affect investment interest while technological progress has no effect on investment interest.
