Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression methods and mediation analysis. The results of the study indicate that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, customer engagement, and purchasing decisions. In addition, brand awareness and customer engagement have been shown to play a mediating role in the relationship between social media marketing and purchasing decisions. Thus, marketing strategies through social media can be an effective tool in increasing brand awareness, and customer engagement, and driving purchasing decisions in the coffee shop industry. Abstract

Policy transformation regarding regional expansion is an issue that has attracted quite a lot of attention, especially in the context of local government such as villages in West Pasaman Regency. The expansion of villages that occurred during the period 2017 to 2023 is a relevant object of study to be examined from two main approaches, namely the normative perspective and the rational perspective. The normative perspective focuses on the suitability of the implementation of expansion with applicable laws and regulations, while the rational perspective emphasizes logical considerations, governance efficiency, and real benefits for the community. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, which aims to describe in depth the dynamics of the implementation of village expansion. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature studies, direct observations in the field, policy documentation, and interviews with a number of key informants from the Community Empowerment and Village Office of West Pasaman Regency, Muaro Village officials, Ranah Koto Tinggi Village officials, and community leaders from both villages. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, reduction, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that from the normative side, the expansion has been running according to formal provisions, although there are still implementation obstacles at the local level. Meanwhile, from the rational side, the expansion has not been fully able to present optimal impacts as planned in several aspects.

Abstract

This study focuses on digital service users in Indonesia, and aims to explore the influence of customer satisfaction and service quality on customer loyalty in digital service organizations. A random sampling technique was used to obtain a sample of 105 people consuming digital services in Indonesia. Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, a subset of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), was used to evaluate the collected data. The findings of this study indicate a positive and statistically significant correlation between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, supported by a Beta coefficient of 0.270, a T statistic of 2.946, and a p-value of 0.003. A Beta coefficient of 0.525, a T statistic of 6.186, and a p-value of 0.000 indicate that service quality has a significant and statistically significant influence on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, empirical studies show that the influence of service quality is statistically significant. Based on a Beta value of 0.411, a T statistic of 4.350, and a p-value of 0.000, it can be observed that the influence of service quality on customer loyalty is significant and strong. Thus, it can be concluded that in the digital services industry in Indonesia, the most important variables in determining customer loyalty are customer satisfaction and service quality.

The development of technology in the digital era has changed the pattern of people's shopping behavior, especially with the emergence of e-commerce that facilitates online transactions. Shopee as one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, attracts consumer attention through marketing strategies such as e-WOM, high product quality, and flash sale promos Generation Z, the most active consumer group in the digital world, tends to make impulse purchases triggered by emotional urges and external stimuli. This impulse buying phenomenon is important because it can affect consumption patterns and the financial well-being of consumers, especially among Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of e-WOM, product quality and flash sales on Generation Z's impulse buying behavior on the Shopee platform. Data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to respondents who met the criteria, namely Generation Z who actively shop at Shopee. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total of 190 respondents. Data analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study are expected to provide deeper insights into impulse shopping behavior in Generation Z, as well as provide recommendations for e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of banking profitability in Indonesia using panel data analysis. Profitability is an important indicator reflecting a bank's financial health and is crucial in determining its sustainability and competitive advantage in the sector. This study examines the factors influencing the level of bank profitability in Indonesia. The sample used in this study was 40 conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for five years (2019-2023). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and the analysis method used in this study was panel data regression. The independent variables in this study consisted of liquidity, capital adequacy, bank size, inflation, and bank income, while the dependent variable in this study was the return on assets. The results of the panel data regression in this study indicate that liquidity and bank size have a significant positive effect on the return on assets. Capital adequacy, inflation, and bank income do not affect the return on assets. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for conventional banks in increasing bank profitability by improving capital management efficiency, strengthening liquidity, and expanding the asset base. The results of this study are also expected to serve as a reference for investors in selecting banks with high liquidity and large size as indicators of better profit potential.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of good corporate governance, intellectual capital, accounting conservatism, and capital structure on financial performance with earnings management as a mediating variable. In this study, good corporate governance is proxied by the number of audit committees, boards of directors, and boards of commissioners. The intellectual capital variable is proxied by the value-added intellectual coefficient. In addition, accounting conservatism and capital structure variables are proxied by conservatism based on accrued items and debt-to-equity ratio, respectively. For earnings management and financial performance variables, each is measured by the value of discretionary accruals and return on assets. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with the object of research of conventional commercial banks. The population in this study was conventional commercial banks listed on the IDX, as many as 61 companies. The number of samples used in this study was 30 conventional commercial bank companies from 2019 to 2023, with a total of 150 data. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual reports from conventional commercial banks for the 2019-2023 period. Data analysis in this study was carried out using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the help of the SmartPLS 4 application. The results showed that good corporate governance and intellectual capital have a positive influence on financial performance, while accounting conservatism and capital structure did not show a significant effect. This study also reveals that earnings management as a mediating variable does not successfully mediate the influence between good corporate governance, intellectual capital, accounting conservatism, and capital structure on the company's financial performance.
