Abstract

Preeclampsia is a syndrome characterized by increased blood pressure and proteinuria that appears in the second trimester of pregnancy. This preeclampsia will usually recover in the postnatal period. Preeclampsia can occur in antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal. The prevalence of preeclampsia in developed countries is 1.8% -18%. The purpose of this activity is The purpose of this activity is to provide education about preeclampsia. The method used in this activity is by conducting tests (pre-test and post-test), before and after counseling is carried out to assess the level of knowledge or understanding of pregnant women about preeclampsia as an indicator of the success of a health promotion program. The results of counseling show that there is an increase in knowledge or understanding of pregnant women about preeclampsia, from 32 to 93 percent. Based on the results of this assessment, it is hoped that pregnant women can better understand control and be aware of preeclampsia.

Abstract

Preceptorship is a clinical learning process that aims to help students in their new role to acquire initial competencies in a short period of time. Preceptors are often faced with many demands but they are not well prepared to accomplish these demands. Capacity building of preceptors is an effort for clinical supervisors by providing specialized training for the practice of nursing professional education. This activity aims to ensure harmony and readiness in the nursing professional education process. This capacity building is expected to improve the ability of preceptors to provide guidance to nursing students so that students on the practice field can achieve competence in each phase. Capacity building for preceptors was carried out at Politeknik Insan Husada Surakarta on March 16-17, 2023 with 43 participants. This capacity building increases preceptor knowledge with a significance value of 0.000 (α < 0.005). Participants actively participated in the activity and could immediately play an active role in the role play. Role play was carried out by dividing participants into 5 groups. The materials presented in this activity include effective communication in pre and post conferences, Bed Side Teaching, Journal and Presus Analysis, Mini Cex and DOPS. The ability to facilitate students in learning in the clinic is seen when preceptors do role play. Preceptors can perform their roles very well.

Abstract

Adolescent health issues are an important issue because adolescents will be the next generation so that adolescent reproductive health can be an indicator of future health. One of the adolescent health problems is fertility or birth in adolescents, which is an important issue because it is related to the level of morbidity and mortality of mothers and children. Teenage mothers are more at risk of experiencing health problems and death related to childbirth compared to older women. The age-specific birth rate or Age Specific Fertility Rate (ASFR) for young women aged 15-19 years in Indonesia is relatively high, reaching 36 per 1,000 women. Efforts to increase human resources through training in the use of Pocket Books at Youth Posyandu. Analysis of the situation, in Mentuk Kidul Village, Klaten Regency, data was obtained: as many as 20 out of 50 teenagers experienced anemia nutritional problems, 30 teenagers experienced dysmenorrhea during menstruation, and as many as 10% of early marriages occurred. from teenagers. The method is to empower the community, especially teenagers, in using pocket books as an effort to increase teenagers' health knowledge for the continuity of implementing youth mentoring in collaboration with the village midwife. The methods used in this Community Service are brainstorming, group discussions, and practical demonstrations. The results of the activity showed that the average knowledge before the pocket book intervention was carried out was 47.12 ± 4.5, after the pocket book intervention was carried out, it was found that adolescents' knowledge about reproductive health increased to 81.23 ± 8.12. Statistical results show significant results. Increased knowledge before and after the adolescent reproductive health pocket book intervention at the Youth Posyandu in Mentuk Kidul Village, Klaten Regency. Pocket book is effective for increasing teenagers' knowledge in youth Posyandu.

Abstract

DM exercise is an exercise performed by Diabetes Mellittus (DM) sufferers or non-sufferers to prevent injuries and help improve blood circulation. It is recommended for DM sufferers to do light, fast movements for at least 150 minutes every week to burn calories in the body and increase insulin sensitivity. Nurses as part of the health team, apart from playing a role in providing health education, can also play a role in guiding DM sufferers to do foot exercises until the sufferer can do foot exercises independently. The inability of diabetes mellitus patients to carry out self-care can affect the quality of life in terms of physical health, psychological well-being, social relationships and environmental relationships. Self care carried out for diabetes mellitus sufferers is more focused on preventing complications and controlling blood sugar. One of the self-care measures for DM patients is exercise or physical exercise. Exercising regularly can reduce and maintain normal blood sugar levels. One of the foot exercises for diabetes mellitus patients is diabetic foot exercises. This community service method is observational. This program includes all matters of a technical, managerial and scheduling nature (time schedule). The management module includes mentoring, handling and continuous counseling techniques. Preparation of training facilities and infrastructure. This preparation includes the provision of facilities and infrastructure for training places and counseling. Field coordination. From this activity it can be concluded that all participants (100%) understand diabetes mellitus exercise, the purpose of doing foot exercises, know the benefits of DM exercise, know the indications and contraindications for foot exercise and are enthusiastic, attentive and active during DM exercise training activities.

Abstract

Choking is a complete or partial blockage of the airways due to an object from outside the body, which can result in death if not treated quickly and appropriately. Choking incidents can occur anywhere, including in the school environment. When someone chokes, within a few minutes the individual will suffer from a general or complete lack of oxygen. The aim of this service activity is to provide introduction and education to class XII students about helping choking victims using the five to five method through a simulation strategy. The method of implementing this activity was carried out through counseling and simulation involving 25 class XII students at Palapa Pare Kediri Vocational School. The service activities were carried out in 3 sessions, namely: introduction to choking incidents through counseling, introduction to helping choking victims using the five to five method and simulation of how to help choking victims using the five to five method. The result of the service activity was an increase in students' knowledge and ability in helping choking victims using the five to five method, namely from some (50%) in the poor category (before the activity) to almost all (90%) in the good category. Education using a simulation approach can increase students' understanding of how to help choking victims with quick and precise implementation. Educational methods using a simulation approach can be used as a medium for conveying information to help when a victim is choking.

Abstract

Indonesia, with a population of more than 270 million people and potential natural resources and human resources, has great power to grow in terms of the economy. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the mainstays of Indonesia's economic growth in realizing the welfare of society at large. Prima Village or known as the Prima Productive Economic Group is a women's empowerment program in the Special Region Province of Yogyakarta under the responsibility of the Women's Empowerment Service, Child Protection and Population Control, Special Region Province of Yogyakarta. Empowerment is carried out through coaching to open small businesses and strengthening existing small and medium businesses in all districts and cities in Special Region Province of Yogyakarta. Productive Economic Group Desa Prima in Sumberrahayu Village, Moyudan District, Sleman Regency is one of the many Productive Economic Groups in Special Region Province of Yogyakarta that requires further steps so that established businesses have advantages and the ability to compete with existing products or services on the market. The program needed is to provide insight and provision in marketing products and services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises players who are members of it. The aim of this service activity is to provide understanding and marketing strategies in the Prima RAHAYU PRIMA Village.

Abstract

The aim of the service is to provide knowledge related to using social media for marketing to managers of tattoo removal services (procare) in the city of Klaten. Social media, in a marketing context, refers to online interactive platforms that facilitate interaction, content sharing, and collaboration opportunities among individuals, communities, and organizations. This includes various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and many more. As technology and internet accessibility develop, this number is expected to continue to grow, providing endless opportunities for innovative and effective marketing. The essence of a marketing strategy on social media is to achieve concrete business goals. This includes increasing brand awareness, building deeper relationships with customers, increasing sales, gaining and maintaining market share, and measuring campaign performance and effectiveness through relevant metrics. Having a presence on social media can also help respond and manage brand image quickly and effectively when various situations arise. This training is a provision for tattoo removal service managers (procare) regarding the use of social media as a marketing strategy.
