Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago that is flanked by oceanic plates and land plates that cause the two plates to often collide. This causes Indonesia to be an earthquake-prone area and has many volcanoes. Research related to earthquakes in Indonesia continues to develop. This has resulted in several points such as new earthquake hazard maps and the latest regulations related to earthquake-resistant building planning, resulting in the building planning process having to follow the latest applicable regulations. The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in SNI, structural dimension requirements, reinforcement requirements, and structural behavior and internal forces due to the application of SNI 1726:2012 and SNI 1726:2019 in a building. The research method used was to conduct a literature study on the changes from SNI 1726:2012 to SNI 1726:2019 using the SNI 2847:2019 planning which will be used in the structural analysis. The results obtained from this study show that there are differences in the earthquake maps used in SNI 1726:2012 and SNI 1726:2019, there are differences in parameters in SNI 1726:2012 and SNI 1726:2019 which result in an increase in the forces acting on the structure which affects the need for reinforcement. Structural planning is carried out by following SNI 1726:2019 and SNI 2847:2019, for existing buildings that have been built based on SNI 1726:2012, it is necessary to carry out a re-examination or assessment to determine the condition of the existing building in relation to earthquake in Indonesia.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is the most widely used pavement in Indonesia. There are three types of hot mix asphalt in Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 Rev. 2, including Asphalt Concrete (AC), Thin Layer Asphalt Concrete (Hot Rolled Sheet, HRS) and Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA). Of the three types of hot mix asphalt Stone Matrix Asphalt has advantages but is rarely used in Indonesia, especially in Papua. This is what then motivated the author to raise the research topic to find out whether local materials in the Jayapura Regency area can be utilized as a basic material for Rough Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA).This research was conducted at the BPJN Jayapura Testing Laboratory with asphalt levels of 5.5%, 6.0%, 6.5%, 7.0% and 7.5%. Coarse aggregate in the form of crushed stone and stone ash was obtained from Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency while sand was obtained from River at Waibu District Jayapura Regency and filler from stone ash. The results of the water absorption test stated that the aggregate from Kampung Harapan had a value greater than 2% and sand 0.872%. The marshall test results showed that the stability and flow values continued to increase with the addition of asphalt content and decreased at 7.5% asphalt content. While the Void In Mix value decreased with the addition of asphalt content and the Void In Mineral Aggregate value continued to increase with the addition of asphalt content although it was still below the standard. Optimum Asphalt Content is obtained with a value of 6.13%. The residual strength index is 84.77%. As for the price difference between Stone Matrix Asphalt Rough is more expensive by 15.02% compared to the Intermediate Layer Laston (AC - BC).

Abstract

In the Development of Building Activity Budgeting in the Central Government, the construction world has been marked by the construction of increasingly large and complex buildings and other facilities. This is a business opportunity as well as a challenge for the business community, especially the construction services business. The Mojokerto City Government, in this case the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service of Mojokerto City, can be said to be a construction service business actor because the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service is the owner of a project, one of which is the Mojokerto City DPRD Building Construction Project. Where the project is funded by the APBD for one budget year, namely 2020 for the implementation of the work, with an estimated budget of one year. The location for the construction of the building is former agricultural land and with the results of soil tests through sondir boring, there is soft soil with an average thickness of 1.5 m on the surface of the ground. The use of Floating floors can be used as an alternative in the construction of the lower structure of the Mojokerto City DPRD Building. By using the analysis with the Value Engineering method, the results of the initial design Budget Details obtained a total work price of Rp. 10,043,070,000.00 with 28,984 m3 of gravel fill at a cost of Rp. 6,750,501,695.00, with a time required of 99 days, while the alternative Budget Cost produces a total work price of Rp. 9,389,702,000.00 with the soil fill reduced by the concrete slab as wide as the building so that the gravel fill becomes 22,382 m3 at a cost of Rp. 5,212,802,735.00. Thus there is a cost difference of Rp. 1,537,698,960.00 or 21.8% with an implementation time of 77 calendar days and speeding up the work by 22 calendar days. The use of the Floating Floor Structure can be a substitute for soil fill in the construction of the lower structure of the Mojokerto City DPRD building which is more profitable in terms of both cost and time.

Abstract

Rice husk ash (RHA) is an agricultural waste rich in silica with potential as a partial cement substitute in mortar to support sustainable construction. This study evaluates the effect of varying RHA content on the compressive strength and porosity of mortar at 28 and 240 days of age. Mortar was prepared with RHA substitutions of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by cement weight. Compressive strength was tested according to SK SNI 03-2834-2000, while porosity testing followed ASTM C642 standard. The results showed that 20% RHA substitution provided high compressive strength with acceptable porosity. In contrast, 30% RHA significantly increased porosity and sharply reduced compressive strength. These findings suggest that using RHA in the range of 10–20% can improve material efficiency without compromising mechanical performance. The study supports the development of environmentally friendly construction materials through the optimal use of agricultural waste.
