Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 60 respondents who had visited at least once to the Gotong Royong Jaya Wholesale Store, with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale and the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the variables of price, service quality, product diversity, word of mouth and store atmosphere simultaneously had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Abstract

This study analyzes the risk and potential of cryptocurrency as a digital investment instrument in Indonesia using daily data of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), gold, and the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) from 2020 to 2024. A descriptive-quantitative approach was applied, combining literature review and secondary data analysis. Logarithmic returns, GARCH(1,1) volatility models, and Value at Risk (VaR) with Conditional VaR (CVaR) at 95% and 99% confidence levels were employed. The results show that BTC and ETH generated extraordinary annual returns above 170% in 2020 and over 110% in 2023, but also recorded negative returns in crisis years such as 2022 and 2024. GARCH estimations confirm volatility clustering, with Ethereum showing stronger persistence than Bitcoin. VaR analysis indicates potential daily losses up to −13.2% for ETH and −10.3% for BTC at the 1% worst case, compared to only −2% for gold and IHSG. Scatter risk–return plots place cryptocurrencies in the high risk–high return quadrant, while gold and IHSG remain low risk–low return. Literature findings highlight regulatory gaps, speculative behavior, and low financial literacy among Indonesian millennial and Gen Z investors. Overall, cryptocurrency may serve as an alternative for risk-tolerant investors, contingent upon stronger regulation, education, and risk management.

Abstract

Poverty remains a major problem in various regions in Indonesia, including East Java. Although economic growth in East Java has shown improvement in recent years, poverty remains a serious problem and requires further attention to improve the welfare of the people in the region. This raises the question of whether Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is truly capable of increasing economic growth while reducing poverty levels. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of GRDP on economic growth and poverty levels in East Java for the period 2019–2023. The method used is quantitative research with secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as well as simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that GRDP has a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth, and a negative but insignificant effect on poverty levels. Thus, an increase in GRDP has not been able to provide a real impact on reducing poverty levels or accelerating economic growth without the support of other factors such as equitable development, infrastructure quality, and local government policies. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that local governments should not only focus on increasing GRDP, but also pay attention to equitable development, improving infrastructure quality, and economic policies that pay more attention to the interests of the community, so that economic growth can reduce poverty in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of dairy cattle population, production level, and milk consumption on the volume of imported milk in Indonesia. The background of the study is based on the condition of national milk demand which continues to increase along with population growth and changes in consumption patterns, while domestic production is still limited, resulting in a fairly high dependence on imports. The data used in this study is time series data for the period 1993–2022 with a total of 30 years of observations. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25 software. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously the variables of dairy cattle population, production level, and milk consumption significantly influence the volume of imported milk in Indonesia. The dairy cattle population variable has a negative and significant effect on imports. The domestic milk production level variable does not have a significant effect on imports. The cow's milk consumption variable has a positive and significant effect on imports.

Abstract

In an era marked by globalization and increasingly complex business competition, organizations are required to build a strong reputation not only among consumers but also among employees and prospective talents. Employer branding emerges as a strategic approach to shaping a positive organizational image as an attractive workplace, aiming to attract and retain high-quality human resources. This approach applies not only to private institutions but also to public sector organizations. In the governmental context, employer branding is utilized to strengthen public service quality, foster professionalism, and secure top talents committed to serving the nation. This study examines the relationship between corporate branding and employer branding within human resource management, while exploring their implications for organizational competitiveness. Using a literature review method grounded in theories of branding, employer branding, and talent management, the findings reveal that employer branding in both sectors plays a crucial role in enhancing talent attraction, reducing turnover rates, and building employee loyalty.

Abstract

The development of Entrepreneurship in the digital era provides significant opportunities to improve societal welfare; however, many business practices still fail to comply with Sharia principles. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing the spirit of Islamic entrepreneurship in the Society 5.0 era and to identify the integration of Islamic values with digital technology. The research applies a qualitative approach through literature review. The findings indicate that strengthening Islamic entrepreneurship can be achieved by emulating the Prophet Muhammad’s characteristics, fostering a positive entrepreneurial mindset, and regarding business activities as a form of worship. Strategies in the Society 5.0 era emphasize the utilization of digital technology supported by market awareness, social competence, quality orientation, collaboration, income diversification, and the application of sustainability principles. The results highlight that entrepreneurial success in this era is not solely determined by technological mastery but also by the moral, ethical, and spiritual foundations of Islam.

Abstract

This study explores the role of foreign investment in Indonesia’s international economy. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plays a crucial role not only as a source of capital but also through technology transfer, managerial capacity building, and broader access to global markets. With its abundant natural resources and large domestic market, Indonesia has sought to attract FDI through regulatory reforms, fiscal incentives, and investment facilitation. The findings indicate that the contribution of FDI to economic growth is not always linear, as it depends on domestic factors such as human capital quality, political-economic stability, and infrastructure. Nevertheless, excessive reliance on FDI poses risks, including multinational dominance and unequal distribution of benefits. Therefore, a balanced strategy is required to align global investment openness with national interests and equitable development.

Abstract

The creative economy has become one of the important pillars in driving economic growth in the digital era. The millennial generation, with its adaptive characteristics to technology and innovation, plays a key role in the development of this sector. This research aims to analyze the contribution of the millennial generation in developing the creative economy in the digital era, using the literature study method. Data was obtained through literature review from various sources, including scientific journals, books, and related industry reports. The results show that millennials utilize digital technology as a means to create and market creative products, such as art, design, culinary, and digital content. In addition, this generation's ability to build networks through social media and digital platforms has a significant impact on market expansion and increased product added value. However, challenges such as limited access to capital, lack of entrepreneurship training, and intense global competition need to be overcome to support the sustainability of millennials' contribution in the creative economy sector. This study concludes that government and private sector support, such as the provision of training, access to capital, and strengthening digital infrastructure, is needed to maximize the potential of the millennial generation in developing the creative economy.
