Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify, analyze, and empirically test the influence of organizational commitment, remuneration, and career development on employee performance through employee motivation. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The sampling technique used the Slovin method which amounted to 205 respondents. The data used in this study are primary data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) with partial least square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.9 program. The results of the study can be concluded as follows: Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Remuneration has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Remuneration has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. Remuneration has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. Abstract

The management of State-Owned Assets (Barang Milik Negara/BMN) within government institutions, including the Directorate General of Immigration, plays a crucial role in achieving transparent and accountable governance in line with the principles of good governance. The implementation of facilitative practices in immigration-related asset management serves as an effort to bridge institutional operational needs with existing regulations, thereby creating an orderly, efficient, and sustainable asset management system. This study aims to explore how facilitative practices in immigration are applied to support the management of BMN, particularly in terms of utilization, maintenance, and supervision of state assets. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, combining regulatory analysis, field observations, and literature review. The findings indicate that facilitative practices enhance the effectiveness of BMN management through procedural simplification, transparent documentation, and accountable reporting. Thus, the implementation of facilitative immigration practices can be regarded as a key strategy to strengthen integrity in state asset management while fostering professional governance that prioritizes public service.

Abstract

Road infrastructure problems usually occur in rural areas. Damage to road shoulders, road facilities, and potholes that grow larger over time due to increasing mobility every year is one of the issues that needs to be addressed by local governments, especially in rural areas. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the strategies, obstacles, and solutions implemented by the village government in maintaining road infrastructure in Purwodadi Village, Tebing Tinggi District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. This study uses a qualitative research design with a descriptive analysis approach. The data used are from primary and secondary sources, with informants selected using purposive sampling. There were 11 informants in this study, consisting of the village head, village secretary, village officials, and hamlet heads. The results of the study show several strategies used by the village government in road infrastructure maintenance, namely coordination, consistency, synchronization, prioritization and priority scale, community participation, and problem solving. The obstacles faced were the lack of responsiveness from the regional government, limited village funds and vast territory, lack of human resources, and road locations with peat soil. The solutions used are to always be consistent, use PADesa, continue education, and interact with experts and the village community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi serta menganalisis peran transformasi digital terhadap produktivitas dan pertumbuhan ekonomi makro indonesia. Metode penelitian yang dipilih ialah kualitatf deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka sehinga penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai literatur, laporan resmi serta data sekunder yang terkait dengan topik pembahasan. Transformasi Digital menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi makro Indonesia, transformasi ekonomi tradisional ke ekonomi digital khususnya pada sektor e-commerce berkontribusi meningkatkan produktivitas serta perluasan pasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pertumbuhan e-commerce mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan, pada tahun 2024 indonesia menempati posisi pertama di dunia dengan proyeksi pertumbuhan tertinggi, dengan hal itu menunjukan bahwa transformasi digital dapat memperkuat daya saing UMKM,sera berkontribusi sebesar 5,8% Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) pada tahun 2023  melalui sektor ekonomi digital. Transformasi Digital juga berperan dalam mengurangi pengangguran, karena dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baik langsung maupun tak langsung dengan begitu Transformasi Digital dapat menjadi pondasi pertumbuhan serta pembangunan ekonomi makro berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Culinary businesses must develop strategies that ensure customer satisfaction during the consumption of their products and services. However, industry players are only beginning to realize that cultivating customer loyalty is challenging and crucial for achieving business objectives. This research aims to investigate the influence of customer experience and service quality on customer satisfaction among consumers of the Lawson convenience store located on Soekarno Hatta Street, Malang City. The data collection method employed observation and questionnaires. A sample of 100 respondents was selected, comprising Lawson convenience store customers who had made at least one purchase. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and subsequently analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classic assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and the coefficient of determination. The research findings indicate that both customer experience and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This is evidenced by the multiple linear regression calculation, which yielded a constant value of 2.887. These results demonstrate that customer experience and service quality, both partially and simultaneously, significantly and positively influence customer satisfaction among Lawson convenience store consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of infrastructure on community welfare in the underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions of Eastern Indonesia, measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita. The independent variables include electricity distribution, access to proper sanitation, road conditions, and the number of health facilities, using cross-section data from 51 districts in 7 provinces in 2023 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and analyzed with multiple linear regression using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results show that road conditions, access to proper sanitation, and the number of health facilities have a positive and significant effect on GRDP per capita, while electricity distribution has a negative but insignificant effect; simultaneously, all variables significantly affect GRDP per capita. These findings emphasize that improving basic infrastructure is a key factor in driving economic growth and community welfare in 3T regions, and can serve as a basis for more inclusive and equitable development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, work discipline, and motivation on employee work productivity at the Jambi Province Food Security Service. The background of this study is based on the importance of productive human resources, where adequate compensation, high work discipline, and strong motivation are believed to be the main factors in increasing employee productivity. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to all civil servants of the Jambi Province Food Security Service. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of the three independent variables on work productivity. The results of the study indicate that compensation, work discipline, and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity simultaneously (F). This study confirms that increasing compensation, enforcing work discipline, and strengthening work motivation are very important to encourage employee productivity in government agencies. This study is expected to be a reference for the Jambi Province Food Security Service in formulating policies that support improving employee performance in order to achieve organizational goals optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Stres Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Pada Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Povinsi Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan beberapa pegawai dan pimpinan, observasi langsung terhadap lingkungan kerja,serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh pegawai PNS yang menjadi objek penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja memiliki pengaruh negative terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai,di mana tingkat stress yang tinggi cenderung menurunkan kepuasan kerja.sebaliknya,disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh positif sidnifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja,artinya semakin tinggi tingkat disiplin pegawai,semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Jambi untuk merumuskan kebijakan yang dapat mengelola stress kerja dan meningkatkan disiplin kerja guna mencapai kepuasan kerja pegawai yang optimal.

Abstract

Amid globalization and accelerated industrial growth, the need for skilled, capable, and competitive human resources (HR) is increasingly urgent. Yet, Indonesia continues to grapple with high unemployment, low productivity, and gaps between graduates’ competencies and labor market requirements. This research investigates how academic performance, internship experience, competence, and work motivation shape the work readiness of Industrial Engineering students at Gunadarma University. Adopting a quantitative explanatory design, the study applies Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS. A total of 250 respondents were chosen via purposive sampling, limited to active students in semester six or above who had undertaken internships. The study’s outcomes are anticipated to contribute theoretically by expanding insights on determinants of work readiness, while offering practical value for students, universities, and industry in enhancing graduate quality and competitiveness.

Abstract

This research endeavors to scrutinize the ramifications of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the financial performance of companies accredited by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). GCG functions as a pivotal framework in corporate stewardship, principally aimed at augmenting investor confidence and fostering superior financial outcomes. Employing a quantitative paradigm, this study draws upon secondary data derived from the financial statements and annual reports of IDX-listed corporations spanning the period from 2019 to 2023. The independent variables under examination encompass the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and the functionality of the audit committee, whereas the dependent variable, financial performance, is operationalized through Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Tobin’s Q. Empirical findings reveal a discernible and significant impact of GCG on corporate financial performance. More precisely, the proportion of independent commissioners and the efficacy of the audit committee exhibit a positive association. with ROA and ROE. Conversely, institutional ownership demonstrates a more nuanced and somewhat inconsistent relationship with the different metrics of financial performance. These insights carry substantial weight for regulatory bodies, corporate leadership, and the investment community, underscoring the imperative to reinforce robust corporate governance practices as a prerequisite for achieving sustainable financial prosperity.
