Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country with significant economic potential, supported by its large population, abundant natural resources, and strategic geographic position within the global economy. However, this potential has not yet fully enabled equitable distribution of prosperity and sustainable economic development. This study aims to analyze Indonesia's economic structure and the development challenges it faces as a developing country. The research method employed a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review. Data were obtained from publications by the Central Bureau of Statistics, reports from international institutions, development economics textbooks, and scientific journal articles. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, linking development economics theory with the empirical conditions of the Indonesian economy. The results show that Indonesia's economic structure is still dominated by the primary sector, particularly agriculture, with a high proportion of workers in the informal sector. Despite a shift towards the industrial and service sectors, the role of the manufacturing industry in absorbing the formal workforce remains limited and uneven across regions.

Abstract

The ayam penyet culinary business is currently facing several problems that have led to a decline in sales levels and customer satisfaction. Increasingly intense competition with other ayam penyet businesses and similar culinary ventures in the surrounding area provides consumers with many alternative choices, making customer loyalty difficult to maintain. In addition, suboptimal service quality, particularly due to a lack of employee training in service and hygiene, has also affected the business image in the eyes of consumers. Another significant issue is the underutilization of social media as a digital promotional tool, resulting in limited marketing reach and low public awareness of the business. This article aims to analyze the sales problems of the ayam penyet business using SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors influencing business performance. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, conducted through observation and interviews. The results of the analysis are expected to serve as a basis for formulating business development strategies, especially in improving service quality and utilizing digital promotion to strengthen the competitiveness of the ayam penyet business.

Abstract

This study examines factor pricing and income distribution from an Islamic economic perspective based on the principles of justice, balance, and social welfare. Islam allows prices to be determined through a fair market mechanism as long as they do not involve injustice, exploitation, monopoly, or hoarding. In certain circumstances, however, government intervention is permitted to maintain market stability and economic justice, as emphasized by Ibn Taymiyyah. Income distribution occupies a central role in Islamic economics to prevent wealth concentration and reduce social inequality. Distribution instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and inheritance function as redistributive mechanisms to ensure the fulfillment of basic human needs. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research with descriptive-analytical methods. The findings indicate that Islamic concepts of pricing and income distribution aim to achieve social justice, economic balance, and sustainable welfare for society.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize content strategy formulation and target market determination for Batagor Selimut, a business unit under CV. Muara Rahmat, through the utilization of Instagram as a digital marketing platform. The main issues identified include visual inconsistency in content, low posting frequency, and weak brand recognition due to suboptimal management of profile elements. The results indicate that implementing consistent Instagram feed templates, establishing a regular posting schedule, and optimizing profile elements through bio updates and logo usage as visual identity significantly improved brand professionalism and brand image perception. Furthermore, defining the target market based on demographic, geographic, and psychographic segmentation provided clearer direction for content development and digital marketing communication strategies. The findings demonstrate that a structured content strategy and precise target market formulation can enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Abstract

This study uses a structural economics perspective to examine the phenomenon of market dualism and its relationship to development inequality. Unequal development is caused by economic dualism, where modern and traditional sectors coexist, leading to differences in productivity, wages, and access to resources. This study investigates the structural mechanisms that reinforce market dualism and impact regional disparities and income distribution using a qualitative approach through literature review and secondary data analysis. The results indicate that some of the main barriers to structural transformation are structural rigidity, labor market division, and limited mobility of production factors. Market dualism causes vertical and horizontal differences among income groups. To address dualism and promote more equitable development, this study suggests an integrative structural transformation policy that includes infrastructure investment, human resource development, institutional reform, and inclusive industrialization.
