Abstract

The ASEAN region has experienced rapid trade growth, but differences in export performance persist among member countries. These differences are related to variations in exchange rate stability, trade openness, labor productivity, and access to domestic financing. This study aims to analyze the effects of exchange rates, trade openness indices, productivity, and domestic credit on export volume in eight ASEAN countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Brunei Darussalam, over the period 2010–2024, using quarterly data. The method used is the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel ARDL) model with the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) approach to identify short-run and long-run relationships. The analysis steps include stationarity tests, cointegration tests, and long-run coefficient estimation and adjustment mechanisms. The results indicate a long-run relationship between the variables. Overall, the trade openness index, productivity, and domestic credit have a positive effect on export volume, while the exchange rate has a negative effect in the long run. In the short run, trade openness has a positive effect, while the exchange rate, productivity, and domestic credit have a negative effect. These results confirm that increased production competitiveness and domestic financial support are crucial factors in strengthening regional export performance. These findings are expected to serve as considerations for relevant parties for further development and learning. This research uses secondary data obtained from the financial statements of conventional bank in Indonesia during the period 2020-2024. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression with the help of Eviews 12 software. Liquidity risk is measured by Liquidity to Total Assets (LTA), credit risk is measured by Non-Performing Loans (NPL), bank efficiency is measured by the Operating Expense to Operating Income Ratio (BOPO, while financial stability is proxied by the Z-Score. The result show that liquidity risk has a negative and insignificant effect in bank financial stability. Credit risk has a positive but insignificant effect on bank financial stability. Simultaneously, liquidity risk, credit risk, and bank efficiency significantly affect the financial stability of banks. These findings indicate that operational effeciency is an important factor in maintaining bank financial stability. Therefore, bank need to improve operational efficiency and manage liquidity and credit risk more effectively in order to maintain the stability of the financial system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and consumer trust on purchasing decisions with buying interest as an intervening variable on the Shopee e-commerce platform. The rapid growth of digital commerce in Indonesia has intensified competition among e-commerce platforms, requiring companies to implement effective promotional strategies and build strong consumer trust. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consisted of Management students of Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang class of 2022 who actively use Shopee. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 100 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that promotion and consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on buying interest. Furthermore, promotion, consumer trust, and buying interest significantly influence purchasing decisions. Buying interest is also proven to mediate the effect of promotion and consumer trust on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that strengthening promotional programs and maintaining consumer trust can increase buying interest and ultimately encourage purchasing decisions on Shopee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze agribusiness management strategies for utilizing agricultural waste to produce organic fertilizer for horticultural crops. This research used a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were obtained from various sources, such as books, scientific journals, and research articles related to agribusiness, agricultural waste management, organic fertilizer, and horticultural crop cultivation. The results indicate that agricultural waste, such as rice straw, plant stems, dried leaves, and harvest residues, has significant potential for use as raw materials for organic fertilizer because it contains essential plant nutrients. Utilizing organic fertilizer from agricultural waste can improve soil fertility, increase the growth and productivity of horticultural crops, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. Furthermore, processing agricultural waste into organic fertilizer also provides economic benefits for farmers by reducing production costs and opening up new business opportunities. Therefore, implementing appropriate agribusiness management strategies for agricultural waste management is crucial to support a more efficient and sustainable agricultural system.

Abstract

This study explores the contribution of financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial technology to the financial performance of MSMEs among traders at Jungke Market, Karanganyar. Using a quantitative methodology, data were collected through questionnaires from 90 respondents selected using proportional cluster random sampling. Through multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that all three independent variables have significance values below 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect on financial performance partially (t-test). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 52.3% shows that these variables are able to explain the variation in financial performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by external factors. This study concludes that strengthening financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial technology is a key factor in improving the financial performance of business actors.
