Abstract

Technology and information in the digital era is developing very rapidly, especially in the field of information systems. Along with advances in technology we can alleviate an existing problem. Given the rapid development of information systems in recent years, it can encourage human activity to seek information. One of the technological developments marked by the existence of the internet is providing services. The forms of services provided by the internet are useful and beneficial for human life, from data access, advertising, communication, actual information, and one of them is a digital library or can be called E-Library. A library is a collection or collection of all kinds of books, archives and papers. A library management system that is still manual requires the role of technology. So we need E-library technology to implement a library management system to facilitate library management. researchers are encouraged to study the E-library by using the K-Means Clustering method to solve E-Library problems.

Abstract

In today's technological developments, changes towards digital in the industrial sector require us to always be adaptive to change. The reason is that the current marketing is digital-based marketing or what is usually called digital marketing. For this reason, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek) initiated an Independent Campus program, one of which is called Certified Independent Study and Internship (MSIB) as an answer to preparing the Indonesian generation to be ready to face the challenges of the era of digitalization. For this reason, the right step in facing these changes as a student is to take part in a training program that suits your interests in preparing for a career in the digital marketing field.

Abstract

Smart farming has become a rapidly growing research area with the aim of increasing agricultural productivity and efficiency through advanced technologies. One of the key technologies in smart agriculture is image processing, which enables real-time monitoring and analysis of crop conditions. This article reviews image processing applications in smart agriculture, with a focus on the methods and techniques used for crop monitoring. Image processing methods discussed include pest and disease detection, measuring plant growth, as well as monitoring soil moisture and plant health. Image processing techniques such as convolution-based image analysis (Convolutional Neural Networks/CNNs), image segmentation, and pattern recognition are applied to obtain accurate and relevant information. Case studies and field experiments show that image processing can provide accurate and real-time data, enabling farmers to make more informed and efficient decisions. In conclusion, the application of image processing technology in smart agriculture has great potential to increase crop yields, reduce resource use, and advance sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

This study examines the advertising ethics and social impact of Lifebuoy soap advertisement with the theme "5 Tahun Bisa untuk NTT" (5 Years for NTT), aired in Bitobe Village, East Nusa Tenggara in 2023. Bitobe Village was chosen due to its representation of the typical socio-economic conditions in East Nusa Tenggara, often facing challenges related to sanitation and health. The research aims to analyze how the advertisement message is understood and received by the local community, as well as the implications of this message on hygiene-related behaviors and attitudes. The methods employed include content analysis of the advertisement and a social impact study through interviews and direct observations with the residents of Bitobe Village. The findings are expected to provide deeper insights into advertising ethics practices in a local context and their contribution to social change in marginalized communities.

Abstract

The new student enrollment process at SMP MIFTAHURROHMAN faces various challenges in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. The current manual process often leads to delays and errors, and fails to meet enrollment targets. To address these issues, we developed a web-based application designed to facilitate the enrollment of new students. This application allows students to register online, upload supporting documents, and print registration receipts. The system is built using the waterfall method and technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and the CodeIgniter framework. Both students and school administrators can monitor and manage registration data in real-time. The implementation of this application is expected to make the new student enrollment process faster, more accurate, and transparent, thereby improving operational efficiency and user satisfaction. This research shows that the developed application effectively addresses the existing problems and provides significant benefits for the school.

Abstract

The abstract in English: This study investigates the impact of ethics on consumer trust in advertising. The research examines how ethical considerations in advertisements influence consumer perceptions and trust. The study uses a mixed-methods approach to analyze data collected from surveys and interviews. The findings reveal that ethical advertising significantly enhances consumer trust, leading to greater brand loyalty and positive word-of-mouth. These implications highlight the importance of maintaining high ethical standards in advertising practices.

Abstract

In the world of marketing, the high level of marketing of diverse products is a problem or challenge for the marketing division in every company in terms of market competition. The research entitled "Application of Personal Selling PT. PGN Bekasi Area in Attracting the Interest of Household Customers" has the aim of applying personal selling, inhibiting and supporting factors, and stages of personal selling PT. PGN Bekasi Area in attracting the interest of household customers. The theories used in this research are marketing communication theory, marketing communication mix, personal selling and buying interest, where this research uses descriptive methods with qualitative research and data collection techniques using structured interviews, observation and data triangulation. When the data obtained has been collected, it is then analyzed by reducing the data, presenting it, and verifying or checking again. From the research stages carried out, the results of the research can be seen that the application of personal selling carried out by PT. PGN Area Bekasi in attracting customer interest starts from approaching areas that have natural gas pipeline infrastructure, making it available to local regional heads (RW) to socialize natural gas, then carry out personal selling which is packaged in a natural gas socialization. Natural gas socialization stages include approach, presentation, overcoming objections, closing the sale and follow-up. The factors that can attract customer interest include product quality factors, brand factors, packaging factors, price factors, product availability factors and promotional factors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of advertising ethics in preventing misleading advertisements in the increasingly digital era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, utilizing literature review and document analysis. Data were collected through the analysis of relevant documents such as journal articles, books, research reports, advertising regulations, and industry codes of ethics. The findings indicate that advertising ethics principles, such as truthfulness, honesty, transparency, social responsibility, and respect for consumers, are crucial in maintaining the integrity of the advertising industry and protecting consumers from false or deceptive information. Additionally, effective oversight and regulation mechanisms by regulatory bodies like the FTC and ASA play a crucial role in enforcing these ethical standards. The study recommends developing new ethical standards to accommodate technological advancements and modern advertising practices to ensure advertisements remain fair and responsible.

Abstract

This research explores the representation of fear in the context of leaving Batak culture as depicted in the film "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap". Through a content analysis approach, this study investigates how the fear associated with leaving cultural identity is reflected in the narrative, visuals, and characters in the film. Qualitative methods are used to analyze various film elements, including dialogue, plot, setting, and cultural symbolism. The findings indicate that the film portrays the complexity of fear experienced by individuals confronted with the conflict between tradition and modernity. These representations provide insights into the cultural dynamics within Batak society and their implications for individual identity. The study contributes to understanding how fear is associated with cultural change and how it is reflected using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis framework. The goal of this study is to use Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method to uncover the moral lessons that are subtly conveyed in films. The study uses qualitative descriptive methodologies and centers on specific cinema moments. While connotation is investigated to uncover the hidden meaning behind these indicators, denotation is used to identify signs as they seem on the surface. Myth analysis is another method used in this research to find concepts that are implied by the movie's plot. Through the use of Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, the study unveils "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap"'s intricate and multilayered narrative structure. The research findings offer profound insights into the ways in which the film uses verbal and visual cues to convey moral lessons to its audience. This study enhances our knowledge of semiotic analysis in the context of film by shedding light on symbolic representations and hidden messages in audiovisual art.

Abstract

In running a company, there will definitely be positive and negative responses expressed by the public. Especially if the company often comes into contact with the community. One company that often comes into contact with the public is a company that operates in the field of goods delivery services. Of course, conditions that require goods delivery services to have direct contact with the public will result in a lot of news about goods delivery services. In order to analyze this news, researchers carried out media monitoring of one of the goods delivery service companies in Indonesia, namely, Anteraja. Media monitoring is a media management activity whose aim is to obtain information related to agencies or companies regarding public reactions to the messages conveyed. Monitoring is carried out by looking for news or information about company developments in the media. This activity was carried out to find out how much influence the news published has and the impact of the resulting news in the form of positive or negative sentiment expressed in the media. In this research, researchers carried out media monitoring of Anteraja using the Ripple10 tool with three steps, namely; (1) Inductive analysis to identify appropriate problems, (2) Data tracking and preparation, and (3) Sentiment analysis.
