This article seeks to identify the ideas of Fazlur Rahman, a classical thinker who is also ultramodern and advances neo modernism. Muslims are required to have a critical understanding of the Western world. One of his contributions is the Double Movement hermeneutic technique. This technique has distinct properties that can be used to understand legal and social texts. To identify Fazlur Rahman's views, the literature research approach is performed. According to the findings, Rahman emphasized the need of knowing the socio-historical backdrop in the field of law. Rahman was crucial in the development of a more methodical interpretive building. Even though his method is not wholly novel, he made an important contribution by emphasizing socio-historical factors and the Double Movement approach. However, problems and flaws in his technique are still being contested among Muslim academics. This article discusses the benefits and drawbacks of this strategy, presenting a fair picture of Rahman's contribution to ultramodern Islamic thinking.

This article aims to discuss in depth the phenomenon of replacing change with candy that is widely practised by business actors in the buying and selling process from the perspective of sharia business ethics. Basically, buying and selling in Islam is a permissible activity. However, in the process there are interesting activities to be studied from an Islamic perspective, one of which is this phenomenon. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. While literature study is used as a data collection technique. The results of this study show that sharia business ethics sees that in th relations between humans (muamalah), all things can be done, unless there is clear evidence that prohibits it. In this case, when business actors do not pay full return, there are buyer rights that are not given by business actors. If the buyer is not happy with the return, then even very small change becomes bastard (haram) because it was taken in a bad way (batil). Not giving the full change, or the change is replaced with candy by the business is also not in accordance with the principles of Islamic economic ethics, which consist of Tawhid, balance, free will, and responsibility

This research aims to determine the various values of Islamic guidance and counseling in Javanese culture, the implementation of Islamic guidance and counseling values in Javanese culture, and the relevance of Islamic guidance and counseling in Javanese culture. This is because a counselor cannot choose clients to carry out the counseling process. Each client has a different cultural background, one of which is Javanese culture. This study is qualitative research with a literature study approach with two types of data. Primary data was obtained through literature such as the Al-Qur'an, books on Islamic guidance and counseling, and Javanese culture. Secondary data was obtained through journals and information sources from the internet which contain values related to Islamic counseling guidance and Javanese culture. The results of this research are the values of Islamic guidance and counseling in Javanese culture, namely the belief in making choices through Islamic teachings and Javanese culture that have been passed down from generation to generation. Culture can influence the success of counseling because it can be seen in how clients are handled. The implementation of Islamic guidance and counseling in Javanese culture varies, for example, friendly greetings, greetings, and politeness.

Al Maududi stated that the responsibility for istikhlaf fi al-ardi in the sense of niyabah for God's formal function on earth, must be delegated to a devout believer, it is inappropriate for the responsibility of the caliphate to be given to a munafiq, fasiq and dhalim Muslim. Thus, this research has two objectives, namely first; analyzing al Maududi's thoughts which are reflected specifically in his work Tafhim Al-Qur‘an in Surah an-Nur verses 48-56, which describes the identification of hypocritical people and the criteria for mukhlisin Muslims. Second, to analyze Michel Foucault's social theory of power relations towards the analysis of the genealogical context between al- Maududi and the social context in which the interpretation was produced, so that the idea of al-Maududi's interpretation forms a discourse of knowledge and becomes the truth ideology of the fundamentalist group. This research is classified as qualitative research using the library research approach method. The methodology used is a study of tafsir tahlily based on analysis of primary data sources, namely the interpretation of Tafhim Al-Qur‘an in Surah an Nur verses 48-56. The results of this research conclude that the interpretive analysis used by al Maududi in the letter is classified as sharp and broad argumentative analysis. Tafsir Tafhim Al-Qur‘an has genealogical roots from the Turjuman Al-Qur‘an magazine and the Jamaat-i Islami party. This interpretation is written in two phases; namely the phases before and after the formation of Pakistan. From these two phases, no strikingly different interpretation patterns were found, because in these two phases, al-Maududi remained in a defeated position. Al Maududi's inner conflict struggles can be seen from how he interprets the term munafiq, which in fact Pakistan is a Muslim- majority country but uses a secular government system.

This article aims to understand more about the phenomenon of money politics from the perspective of Ahmad Baharuddin Nursalim. He is one of the contemporary fiqh scholars. This type of research is qualitative-descriptive. In an effort to collect data, researcher used the literature study method on data related to the topics discussed in this article. The results of the research show that money politics is an activity that basically violates the rules of state law, violates religious propositions and is contrary to human nature. However, contemporary scholars such as Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim consider that money politics is no longer categorised as “risywah” (something cursed by Allah and His messenger). The reason is that in this era there is a collective benefit that still needs to be fought using money politics, without money politics it is feared that this benefit will not be achieved and it is feared that it will cause a loss. For him, money politics is not only an activity that can be done by a good Muslim, but for the sake of the benefit of the people, money politics is an obligation for Muslims who are able to do it.

This article aims to understand deeply how the Qur'an sees the phenomenon of childfree. This qualitative research uses a literature study data collection method from various sources or documents in the form of books, tafsir books or journals. In the verse study, the conceptual maudu'i method is used, which is a method of collecting verses that discuss a topic without the need for specific terms or terms but through a concept on the theme being studied. The findings in this article show that in the Qur'an there is no prohibition on a married couple's decision not to have children. This is because in the Qur'an there are also verses that explain that children can be a test or trial for both parents, so that they have the potential to bring bad things in the future. However, the presence of children in a marriage relationship is basically an innate consequence of marriage. Other verses state the virtues of having children and prayers for good offspring. The presence of children is one of the factors for the realisation of mercy in a marriage. Through several interpretations, it can be interpreted that children can mediate the harmony and happiness of a married couple, as the position of a child who can be Qurrata A'yun for both parents
