Calakan: Jurnal Sastra, Bahasa, dan Budaya adalah jurnal ilmiah (ISSN:2987-9639) yang diterbitkan oleh PT Al-Ahyan Publisher Sukabumi, yang bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang ilmu sastra, bahasa, dan budaya berbasis penelitian di kalangan akademisi dan peneliti serta bertujuan memberikan kontribusi dan pengaruh positif pada dunia ilmu sastra, bahasa, dan budaya. Calakan: Jurnal Sastra, Bahasa, dan Budaya mempublikasikan artikel kajian empiris dan teoritis dengan cakupan sastra, bahasa, budaya, dan seni. Redaksi menerima artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia dan belum di submit atau dipublikasikan pada jurnal lain. Penentuan artikel yang diterima akan melalui proses blind review, di mana reviewer tidak mengetahui identitas dari penulis. Calakan: Jurnal Sastra, Bahasa, dan Budaya diterbitkan tiga kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juli dan Nopember. Abstract

The development of children's intelligence is greatly influenced by creativity-based education. Coloring skills are examples of creative potential that are no less important for the development of children's creativity, and this is done from an early age. This activity can increase children's creativity and improve their fine motor development. The purpose of this study is to increase children's creativity in coloring activities, this is because in the initial observation the level of creativity in coloring in KB Tunas Bahari Pajagan has not yet appeared. Children's creativity in coloring most of them do not know how to color the picture according to the original, cannot explain what is colored, or explain the meaning of the picture. They even tend to color images with just one color. Of the 15 students, there were no children who developed Very Well (BSB) or 0%, children who developed according to expectations (BSH) 13.3% with a total of 2 children, children who began to develop 33.3% with a total of 5 children, and children who were not yet developed (BB) as many as 53.4% with a total of 8 children. In this study, using the Classroom Action Research method in the implementation of observations, it was carried out using 2 cycles, in which 2 activities were carried out in each cycle. The results of this study show that free coloring activities can increase children's creativity in KB Tunas Bahari Pajagan, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency.

Abstract

One of the educational game tools is blocks, which are usually made of wood. Three-dimensional blocks have various shapes, such as cubes, cylinders, tubes, cones, spheres, spheres, triangular prisms, rectangular pyramids, or pyramids, and various colors that are attractive to children. Block media helps children imagine and think about turning it into a certain shape. They are also trained to put blocks together one by one, and they can think about what to make. If children receive continuous practice, their imagination and creative abilities will develop. The more unique ideas children have, the more creative they are. The aim of this research is to find out how games influence children's creativity in children aged 5-6 years in group B PAUD SPS TP Melati Cisolok. This research uses classroom action research methods.

Abstract

Playing is an activity carried out anywhere, using materials or tools that can develop children's talents or imagination. Social emotional development is a child's sensitivity to understanding other people's feelings when interacting in everyday life. The level of a child's interaction with other people starts from parents, siblings, playmates to the wider community. One game that can be used to improve the social emotional skills of children aged 5-6 years is the traditional game of engklek. In this research, the researcher aims to find out how much influence the traditional game of engklek has on children's social emotional abilities at PAUD Nurul Cianjur. This research was carried out based on the findings of children who had not yet appeared. This research used the Classroom Action Research method, with subjects as many as 15 children from PAUD Nurul. The cycle used in implementing activities is 2 cycles. Implementation activities refer to daily learning plans that have been prepared and adapted to the needs of the research theme.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of parenting styles, emotional support, and parental involvement in the social-emotional development of early childhood at PAUD Tunas Bangsa. This research collects data through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that parents use democratic parenting styles. With a permissive parenting style that gives children complete freedom, discipline and boundaries are difficult to create. On the contrary, this parenting style allows children to learn responsibility and become more confident. Even though time constraints are a major obstacle, consistent emotional support from parents has been proven to create a good environment for children's learning. The active involvement of parents in the parenting program at PAUD Tunas Bangsa has a positive impact on the relationship between parents and children. In addition, this involvement increases parents' understanding of good ways to care for children. Play-based methods shape children's character and social skills. Parents like this method. However, the hope is that people learn the academic basics gradually. Developing more organized parenting programs, providing parent guidelines, increasing parental involvement in school activities, and optimizing play-based approaches are some of the research recommendations.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors in the family environment that affect the ability to recognize letters in 6-year-old children at KOBER Kaizan and to find out how the picture of letter recognition in the family environment in 6-year-old children at KOBER Kaizan is described. The research method used in this study uses a qualitative approach using a case study research design (case study). The subjects of this study are parents and children aged 5-6 years in KOBER Kaizan. Sampling of data sources is by using purposive sampling, which is taking data sources with certain considerations. The results of the research on the role of the family in the introduction of letter concepts in 6-year-old children at KOBER Kaizan, it can be concluded that the family is interested in helping children in letter recognition by paying attention to several things, namely how to educate children, relationships between family members, the atmosphere of the home environment and the understanding of parents. The way parents educate children in knowing letters is done by reading storybooks, exemplifying children reading letters, by watching learning videos about letters. The relationship between family members in knowing letters is carried out by the grandmother introducing letters to children through the recognition of letters in food packaging during snacks, then the older brother plays guessing with his younger brother by guessing the names of animals from the alphabet, then the older brother and sister learn together. The atmosphere of the home environment when children are studying must also be calm so that children can learn calmly and conducively. Then what must be considered is the understanding of parents. Forms of parental attention can be in the form of facilities and motivation for children.

Abstract

Education is the process of changing the behavior of students so that they become independent adults and participate in society. Although the primary responsibility of parents is to educate their children, teachers should be responsible for providing all preschool education to children while they are in school. Teachers are people who are directly involved in preparing the next generation to face the challenges of the times, and their role is very important in the world of education. One of the ways teachers instill character in early childhood is through stories. In teaching students, a storytelling approach is used. 1. To gain an understanding of how the role of teachers in improving religious character in PAUD Nurul Abor, Cianjur Regency.

Abstract

The character of caring for the environment is an attitude and action that always tries to prevent damage to the environment, and develops efforts to repair the damage to nature that has already occurred. One of the causes of environmental damage is waste. Both organic waste and inorganic waste. Garbage in theschool environment can cause pain and discomfort during learning. Therefore, teachers and school members need to prohibit and exemplify the attitude of caring for the environment through the processing of organic and inorganic waste. By utilizing the existing waste in the school environment, it is processed into goods that are useful and have high selling value. Moreover, inorganic waste needs proper processing and does not become waste. Because inorganic waste is difficult to recycle. This activity aims to foster an attitude of caring for the environment, use and processing of waste, and increase student creativity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the results of this study are in the form of words and pictures. The results of this project activity are very influential in the school environment. Starting from students who dispose of trash in its place, can make various handicrafts from used goods and do not need pesticide fertilizers to help fertilize plants because organic fertilizers are already made. All waste is processed and utilized as best as possible, to create a clean, healthy, and comfortable school environment for learning.

Abstract

Developing children's language skills is an important thing to do. One of them is the ability of children to speak, speaking is a way done by humans to communicate and share information. Children's speaking skills must be trained and developed to the maximum to make it easier for children to learn and socialize. However, there are several factors that affect children's language development, one of which is speech delay (speech delay) caused by a lack of language stimulus. One of the efforts made to overcome these problems is the use of the storytelling method. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the process of using the storytelling method in dealing with children's speech delay. This study uses a qualitative descriptive field research method. The research location is in PAUD Darul Ulum, PelabuhanRatu District, Sukabumi Regency. The research subjects included, teachers, principals, and 4 students of PAUD Darul Ulum speech delay obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research process describes the efforts made by educators in handling children's speech delay, namely by using the storytelling method. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method with a total of 7 subjects in PAUD Darul Úlum, Pelabuhan Ratu District, Sukabumi Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the social-emotional ability (self-awareness) of 4-5 year old children in PAUD Ibnu Abbas, Cianjur Regency, which is still relatively low because in the learning process it is still rare to use innovative methods. So that the demonstration method applied is expected to be able to improve children's social-emotional skills (self-awareness). This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) in increasing children's self-awareness behavior through a routine habituation method in the Ibnu Abbas PAUD Institution Unit, Cianjur district, which aims to obtain changes in student behavior in increasing students' independence during learning at school. The research design used is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model design which contains four steps in one cycle including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was carried out for six months with the research subject, namely half of the number of children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Ibnu Abbas, Cianjur Regency, namely 6 people. The data collection techniques in this study use observation and documentation with the data analysis techniques used, namely descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results of this study show that learning with the application of the demonstration method in learning can improve children's social-emotional skills (self-awareness), this is evidenced by the improvement in children's abilities seen in the observation guidelines from before the action to the first cycle, namely before the action/pre-cycle got a result of 33.3% and the first cycle achieved a result of 66.7%. Then in the second cycle it achieved a result of 99%, where this final result has exceeded the research target which targets 90% success from action.

Abstract

Education provided to early childhood is education provided to optimize the growth and development of children's brains. Of course, it is necessary to have someone who is able to direct and guide children in that phase to maximize their growth. In the digital era like today, everyone is racing with technological developments, including in early childhood learning. Teachers are required to improve relevant learning innovations by utilizing relevant learning innovations by utilizing rapidly developing technology and communication. This digital media is often used as a learning and entertainment media tool.  However, the uncontrolled use of digital media risks causing various problems. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) using Mc Taggart's research design and the Kemmis model, where the data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques are to determine the improvement of the learning process, especially the various actions taken by teachers. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that PAUD Ibnu Abbas Cianjur Regency implements an innovation that is expected to be able to improve children's social-emotional skills (self-awareness), namely digital media introduced in the form of educational games called "Cheerful Picture Guessing Game".
