Abstract

This study investigates the influence of workload, motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance in Indomie food stalls across the Solo Raya region. Employing a quantitative research design, the study translates abstract concepts into measurable indicators, enabling precise empirical analysis of the relationships among the variables. Workload is defined as the mental and physical demands placed on employees, motivation as the internal drive to achieve objectives, and job satisfaction as positive emotional responses to work experiences. Data were collected through purposive sampling of active employees using validated Likert-scale questionnaires, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that motivation and job satisfaction significantly and positively affect employee performance, while workload shows a negative but non-significant effect. Despite providing valuable insights, the model explains only 36.2% of the variance in employee performance, suggesting additional factors such as leadership style, work environment, or discipline may influence outcomes. Future research is recommended to broaden the study context, incorporate additional variables, and refine measurement instruments, particularly for workload, to better capture the dynamics of informal culinary work environments.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the income earned by farmers from sorghum cultivation, and (2) assess the financial feasibility of sorghum farming in Gorontalo Province. The research was conducted from April to May 2025 and involved 20 farmers selected purposively. Data were collected through direct interviews using structured questionnaires, analyzed then quantitatively using several financial feasibility indicators, including total production cost, total revenue, net income, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). The results indicate that the average production cost per farmer per planting season was IDR 2,214,995, while the average revenue reached IDR 4,368,750. As a result, the average net income amounted to IDR 2,153,755. The R/C ratio of 1.9 confirms that sorghum farming is profitable, as every Rp. 1 of cost generates Rp. 1.9 of revenue. Furthermore, the GPM of 52.51% and NPM of 49.29% demonstrate a strong level of profitability. Based on these findings, sorghum farming in Gorontalo Province is considered financially viable and suitable for sustainable development.

Abstract

This research initiative seeks to evaluate the influence of liquidity, profitability, and capital structure on the valuation of firms, incorporating company size as a control variable within the manufacturing domain of the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The dataset comprises the annual financial reports of the companies for the period spanning 2021 to 2023. The sample selection was executed through purposeful sampling, yielding 123 observations from 41 companies over a three-year timeframe. Data analysis was conducted via a panel data regression methodology, utilizing E-Views 12 software. Results indicated that liquidity (CR) and ROA exerted a significant positive influence on PBV, while capital structure (DER) was found to be statistically insignificant with respect to PBV. Collectively, the three independent variables explained 30.86% of the variance in the firm's valuation, with the remaining 69.14% ascribable to factors beyond the scope of the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the adoption and usage behavior of digital waqf platforms by integrating the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). Using a quantitative approach with 280 respondents and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research examines the roles of subjective norms, technology advancement, and trust in shaping users’ attitudes, behavioral intentions, and actual usage. The findings show that all three antecedent variables significantly and positively influence attitude, which in turn increases behavioral intention, while behavioral intention strongly predicts usage behavior. Trust emerges as the most influential factor, emphasizing the importance of transparency, security, and Sharia compliance within digital waqf systems. These results contribute to the literature on Islamic philanthropic technology adoption and provide practical implications for waqf institutions to enhance digital literacy, strengthen system credibility, and improve technological innovation to increase public participation in digital waqf.

Abstract

MSMEs as a support for the national economy need the support of microfinance institutions such as the Savings and Loan Unit (USP). However, in Rupat District, there are still problems of lack of transparency and weak accountability of USP management. This condition has an impact on declining member trust, so an empirical study is needed to see the influence of these two factors. This study aims to determine the influence of financial report transparency and accountability on public trust. The research method uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires to USP members. The research sample amounted to 72 respondents who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. Descriptive statistical results show that transparency, accountability, and public trust are in the high category. The validity and reliability test states that all research instruments are valid and reliable. The regression results showed that the transparency of financial statements had a positive and significant effect on public confidence (t = 4,016; Sig = 0.001), as well as accountability that had a significant effect (t = 4.623; sig = 0.001). The F test showed a significant simultaneous influence (Fcal = 83.865; Sig = 0.001) with an Adjusted R² of 0.700. Based on these findings, the study recommends that USP improve information disclosure, timeliness of reporting, and strengthen accountability mechanisms to maintain and strengthen public trust.

Abstract

The development of digital payment technology has encouraged the presence of QRIS Syariah as a payment system that not only offers easy transactions but also ensures compliance with sharia principles. This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Benefits and Sharia Principles on the Intention to Use QRIS Syariah in halal MSMEs. This study used a quantitative approach by distributing a questionnaire containing 30 statements to 35 halal MSME respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS application. The results of the outer model test showed that all indicators in the three variables had outer loading values above 0.70 so that the instrument was declared valid and reliable. The R-Square value of 0.648 indicates that Perceived Benefits and Sharia Principles are able to explain 64.8% of the variation in Intention to Use QRIS Syariah. In hypothesis testing, Perceived Benefits have a positive but insignificant influence on usage intention, indicated by a t-statistic value of 1.282. Conversely, Sharia Principles have a positive and significant influence with a t-statistic of 2.604, making it the most dominant factor in driving the intention to use Sharia QRIS. This finding indicates that for halal MSMEs, Sharia compliance is a primary consideration in adopting Sharia digital payment services, while technical benefits are not yet a fully determining factor. This study implies that the development and socialization strategy for Sharia QRIS needs to emphasize Sharia values to increase user interest among halal MSMEs.

Abstract

Students living in boarding houses frequently encounter difficulties in managing their finances, which is often triggered by limited income, lifestyle demands, and intense exposure to digital platforms. Situations like these make financial management a crucial issue to examine, particularly when linked to psychological and behavioral factors that may influence it. This study investigates how social media use, hedonistic tendencies, and emotional intelligence shape the financial management practices of boarding house students, as well as compares the relative impact of each variable. The research applies a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling method with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that social media exposure and hedonistic behavior do not significantly affect financial management, whereas emotional intelligence shows a strong, positive, and dominant influence in explaining students’ financial behavior. These results highlight that internal psychological traits play a more decisive role than external influences. Based on these insights, the study recommends that educational institutions incorporate emotional intelligence development into financial literacy programs and support students in enhancing their self-regulation skills for managing daily finances. Future research is advised to include mediator variables such as financial self-efficacy or self-regulation to broaden the understanding of factors influencing financial behavior.

Abstract

This research examines how social media marketing influences brand loyalty among TikTok users in the Solo Raya region, with brand trust and brand awareness as mediating variables in the context of Indomie and Mie Sedaap products. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, primary data were collected from 200 respondents through structured online questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that social media marketing has a significant positive effect on brand trust and brand awareness, which in turn strengthens brand loyalty. However, brand awareness consistently mediates this relationship, while brand trust only functions as a mediator under certain conditions. This study contributes by highlighting the differing mediating roles of brand trust and brand awareness in TikTok-based marketing and provides practical insights for FMCG brands in strengthening consumer loyalty through short-video platforms. Limitations include reliance on online survey data and a limited scope of variables.
