This research is motivated by the lack of critical thinking skills of students during learning activities. This research was conducted using the Problem Based Learning model. The aim of this study is to improve the critical thinking skills of students with the Problem Based Learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, the research process was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class X TAV SMK St. Louis Surabaya, with a total of 17 students. Data collection techniques in this study use observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use comparative descriptive techniques by comparing data in cycle I and cycle II data. In conclusion, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model in the learning process has been proven to improve students' critical thinking competencies and learning achievements. Based on the results of observations in learning activities in cycle 1 and cycle 2, students' critical thinking skills have increased in number of students who have reached the category developing as expected and highly developed as many as 3 people where in cycle 1 there were 14 people and in cycle 2 became 17 people. The results of the formative test conducted also showed an increase in the average class score of 16.47 where in the formative test in cycle 1 the average class score was 63.53 and in cycle 2 the average class score became 80.

The implementation of Catholic Religious Education and Character Education in class X SMKN 1 Putussibau, it was found that, first: students were not actively involved in learning activities, so they faced difficulties in understanding and applying the concepts being taught. Second, the learning model used with the material being taught is not quite right. Third, in the learning process, the teacher has not linked the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile significantly. Based on the existing problems, it is necessary to immediately make improvements in the learning process. The improvement in question is integrating the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. The purpose of this research is to increase independence and increase student learning achievement. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were 13 class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Putussibau. The results showed that in the first cycle the percentage of independence was only 69.78%. Then continued in cycle II, the percentage of student independence increased to 92.86%. This shows that the percentage of independence of students has increased and achieved predetermined indicators of success. Learning achievement has also increased. In cycle I, the percentage of learning achievement was 69.2%. The percentage of student learning achievement in cycle II increased to 84.6%. So it can be concluded that the discovery learning model assisted by LKPD can increase the independence and learning achievements of students in class X phase E SMKN 1 Putussibau.

This study aims to improve students' critical reasoning abilities in the matter of church assignments through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) in the subject of Catholic Religious Education Phase F class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Metro This research aims to improve students' achievement and critical reasoning abilities in church assignments material through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in Catholic Religious Education Subject Phase F Class XI Odd Semester 2023/2024 academic year. The problem faced is the low understanding and application of students' critical reasoning abilities in carrying out church tasks. The results of the study show that the application of the PBL method in church assignments material significantly increases the understanding and application of students' critical reasoning abilities. Students are actively involved in the process of solving problems, discussing, and formulating solutions that describe students' critical reasoning abilities. This research provides benefits for students, teachers, and educational institutions. Students can develop a better understanding of critical reasoning skills and understanding in church tasks and everyday life. Teachers can use the PBL method as an effective learning strategy in increasing the understanding and application of the value of critical thinking skills

Classroom Action Research was conducted to find out to what extent students can improve their learning outcomes both through group work activities in the mutual cooperation dimensions and formative tests, from the aspects of knowledge, affective and psychomotor. Learning activities and assessments are an important part of a learning process. Conversely, if the learning process is not well prepared and structured, of course the results will not be optimal, especially in this study using an independent curriculum which allows students to find problems that arise with the discovery learning model, students are invited to be able to find and process the material they learn. Therefore the teacher must be able to plan, design, implement and evaluate or reflect on a lesson that will be carried out so that learning outcomes are maximized, both in terms of cognitive and affective. So after seeing the results of the Pancasila student profile the dimensions of mutual cooperation in the first cycle were 77.00% and in the second cycle 81.94% increased by 4.94% and while the formative value of test 1 with an average of the first cycle was 71.30% increased in the first cycle second with an average value of 85.48%. So with the increase in the results of formative assessments 1 and 2 with the Discovery Learning model, especially in Class VII PAK Lessons at Santo Mikael Middle School, it further adds to the enthusiasm of students in learning because students are able to find problems and solve them.

The independence and learning outcomes of students in Aku Pribadi yangUnik material Class X A of SMA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman are still low, partly because the teacher uses inappropriate methods. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning method assisted by audio-visual media on students' personal material.This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by providing action in two learning cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. This research was conducted in July and August 2023. The research subjects were 22 class X A students at SMA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman. Improved cognitive learning outcomes were obtained from the posttest theme 2 cycle 2, while the learning outcomes of Pancasila student profiles were obtained from observation and observation sheets.The results of the study show that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Audio-visual media can improve the cognitive and affective learning outcomes of Pancasila student profiles. In the cognitive aspect in cycle 1 there was still 40.91% of the acquisition of students' knowledge scores which were still below the KKTP, increasing to 0% in cycle 2. The increase also occurred in mahir and cakap predicates where in cycle 1 mahir was only 18% and cakap was 40% in cycle 2 increased to 54.55% mahir and 45.54% cakap. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning Model assisted by audio-visual media can improve the affective and cognitive learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 1 Nanga Taman on the Material Aku Pribadi yangUnik

The background of this research arises from the existence of problems in learning models that do not stimulate students to think critically, such as monotonous teaching methods. To overcome this, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model is considered as a potential solution to improve students' critical reasoning abilities. This study aims to improve critical reasoning abilities and achieve student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education subjects. In achieving these objectives, this study used a descriptive approach through classroom action research methods with two cycles. The results of the first cycle can be seen from the student scores, there are 3 students who belong to the proficient category, 6 students in the proficient category, and 5 students in the decent category. Even so, the level of students' critical reasoning is not optimal, only reaching 72.5%. However, in the second cycle there was a significant increase with 11 students in the proficient category, 3 students in the proficient category, and 1 student in the feasible category. This indicates a significant improvement in students' understanding of learning material after implementing PBL with the help of Student Worksheets (LKPD). Students' critical thinking skills also increased, reaching 82%. The implications of these findings confirm that an approach that encourages active student participation through PBL with the support of LKPD has a positive impact on increasing critical reasoning abilities and student learning achievement.

This study aims to determine the increase in achievement targets from cognitive learning outcomes and cooperation through the PBL. The problems in class XI IPA are minimal cooperation, accustomed to using the lecture method and individualism. Student learning outcomes are below the achievement target set. Students' psychomotor skills are also less visible because students are rarely invited to do practicals. This type of research is classroom action research. The independent variable is cooperation with the PBL model and the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. The population was all class XI SMAN 1 Parenggean who were Catholics totaling 18 students and a sample of 14 students from class XI IPA. The data collection technique uses the Observation of the Mutual Cooperation Process and the Learning Outcomes Test. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of this study are that there is an increase in cooperation through the PBL model in students of phase F class XI on the material meaning and nature of the church at SMA Negeri 1 Parenggean, which was carried out using the PBL learning model in cycle I and cycle II. There is an increase in the target of learning outcomes through the PBL model for students of phase F class XI on the material meaning and nature of the church at SMA Negeri 1 Parenggean.

Class action research conducted from July to August 2023. Students in phase A class 1 cannot read and write yet. Through the discovery learning learning model, the authors answer the challenge in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in Phase A first grade at Public Alementary School 11 Tumbang Titi. Challenges faced by writers; First; limited facilities in the form of books and scriptures. Second; the lack of interest of students in religious lessons. Third; creating effective and innovative media that can foster students' interest in learning. After carrying out the learning process the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Especially the Teaching Materials I Am Proud of Myself, sub-theme of My Identity to the sub-theme God Loves Me. This is evident in the increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I to cycle II starting from the cognitive aspect which increases 60% very well and 40% good. So there is an increase of 24% from cycle I. The flow of students' critical reasoning development is 75% lacking, and 25% is sufficient. Critical thinking skills in cycle II experienced a development of 9.1%. The aspect of faith and piety in cycle II is 2% of cycle one. The affective aspect in cycle II experienced growth of 6.25% from cycle I. The psychomotor aspect was 7.5% in cycle II of cycle I

Not all of the students who were accepted at Singkawang 1 Public Vocational School were in accordance with their main choices causing low learning independence and learning achievement, so they did not reach KKTP, namely 75. This study aims to: 1) Knowing the increase in learning independence in the subject of human beings being private class X at SMK Negeri 1 Singkawang. 2) Knowing the effectiveness of the PBL method in increasing student learning outcomes in class X personal human beings at SMK Negeri 1 Singkawang. This study applies a quantitative descriptive approach, namely making descriptive of a situation objectively using numbers, starting from data collection, interpretation and display of the results. The research design was Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two (2) cycles, of class X students with a population of 12 people. The results showed that 1) PBL can increase learning independence in material for class X human beings at Singkawang State Vocational School 1. It can be seen that the average independence from 69.94 increased to 78.87%. 2) PBL is effective in increasing student learning outcomes in class X human beings personal material at SMK Negeri 1 Singkawang. It can be seen that 0% is proficient, 66.67% competent and 33.33% proficient, increasing to 66.67% proficient, 16.67% proficient and 16.67% proficient. Thus it can be concluded that the PBL method is effective in increasing independence and learning achievement.

This research was carried out as a form of solving student problems in increasing student learning independence. The independence of student learning in learning is closely related to the quality and ability of the teacher as a designer of learning in the classroom, as well as implementing learning in the classroom. This research was carried out so that students were active in learning Catholicism at SMP Negeri 1 Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Simalungun Regency, learning Catholicism was less attractive to some students because it was not in the State Examination and the number of students was minimal. So the authors conducted research to increase student learning independence at SMP Negeri 1 Girsang Sipangan Bolon with the Discovery Learning learning model
