Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of Shuttle run and Shadow training on agility in extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha in badminton. This research uses an experimental method with a "Pre-test and Post-test Group Design" design. The instrument in this research is agility. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, with the following criteria: (1) Sampling must be based on certain characteristics, properties or characteristics, which are the main characteristics of the population; (2) The subjects taken as samples are truly the subjects that contain the most characteristics found in the population. The research subjects used were extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, totaling 30 students. Based on the research results: (1) there is a significant influence of Shuttle run training on the agility of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, with t count 3.427 > t table 2.145 and a significant value of 0.004 < 0.05. (2) There is a significant influence of Shadowback training on the agility of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, with t count 2.578> t table 2.145 and a significant value of 0.022 < 0.05. (3) Shuttle run training is more effective than Shadow training on the badminton game agility of extracurricular students at SMAN 1 Kodeoha, with a post test difference of 7.38 seconds.

Abstract

This study is a theoretical exploration of the global phenomenon related to the millennial generation trapped in the sandwich generation. The term sandwich generation, was first introduced by Dorothy Miller in her paper entitled "The Sandwich Generation Adult Children Of the Aging" in 1981. In theory, the sandwich generation is a group of adults aged 30-40 years who take care not only of their children but also of their children parents. Be it physically, emotionally or financially. Caring for elderly parents or children also has a negative impact on a person's physical and mental health, moreover the care and treatment is carried out intensively. The approach used in this study is a descriptive approach adopted from descriptive and analytical qualitative research methods, by using library data and documentation. This feature contains a detailed description, critical and comparative thinking, as well as a systematic evaluation of the available data relating to the subject matter. In addition, the research methods used can also be described as interdisciplinary. It can thus help create a unique perspective for tackling a chosen topic by thinking and analyzing across the traditional boundaries that define an established academic discipline.

Abstract

The study aimed to explain that there was a significant effect of learning dance on the self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years at RA Khairu Ummah Sunggal for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The results of the hypothesis test, "Independent Sample Test" in the Equal variances section are assumed to know the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05 meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Also, the consulted tcount obtained is greater than ttable, namely 2.00 < 6,761 > 2.65. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average results of increasing the confidence of children aged 5-6 years at RA Kairu Ummah in the creative dance learning group (experiments) and traditional dance learning groups (control).

Abstract

This research aims to find out the math learning strategies of TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Medan Class B teachers. The results showed that there were many variations of mathematics learning strategies used by teachers in Teratai class, including direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, interactive learning strategies, and autonomous learning strategies, but when used in Teratai class teachers were more likely to use indirect learning strategies, while the use of direct learning strategies, interactive learning strategies, and autonomous learning strategies was still not optimal. So in Mawar class, the strategies used by teachers in teaching mathematics are still relatively single, the strategies used include direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, and indirect learning strategies. Among these strategies, Mawar class teachers more often use direct learning strategies. Meanwhile, the use of indirect learning strategies and autonomous learning strategies is still less than optimal.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a valid, practical, and effective bilingual mathematics digital pocket book to improve students’ ability in understanding plane topic. The study was held at SMP Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan. The subject of this research was class VII-A. This study was a research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE Model. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sheet for the assessment of material experts, teaching materials experts, learning practitioners and student responses. The results showed that the bilingual mathematics digital pocket book in plane topic obtained an average percentage of 93.18% with the criteria "very valid" by the assessment of material experts and teaching materials experts, obtaining an average percentage of 94.5% with the criteria of "very practical" by the assessment. learning practitioners, and obtained an average percentage of 86.72%. with the criteria of "very effective" by student assessment. Bilingual mathematics digital pocket book in plane topic that has been developed in this study was also considered "effective" if it was seen that the post-test scores reached 90% compared to the pre-test scores which reached 56%. Thus, based on the results of the assessment of material experts, teaching material experts, learning practitioners, and students, it can be said that the bilingual mathematics digital pocket book in plane topic has been tested to be valid, practical and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in mathematics learning are categorized as quite low, due to the lack of student participation in learning, so interesting learning methods are needed to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mathematics learning outcomes after applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and explain the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach which has an impact on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses literature studies as a data collection method. The source of data in this study amounted to 10 scientific articles accessed from several sites about the effect of applying the PMR approach on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on a review of several literature and scientific articles that have been accessed, the author concludes that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach has a positive impact on student learning outcomes. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can be a consideration for teachers to increase students' interest in learning so that their learning competence also increases, especially in the present.
